Politics / Re: How Drones Can Be Used To End Kidnapping On The Highway by Jjasons: 4:31am On Jan 17

The government and security agencies in Nigeria are notoriously known to be reactive rather than proactive. It's been over 8yrs since kidnapping moved mainly from the city areas to highways and suburbs while the govt act as if they don't know this. We only wait till a big incident happens before we can react.

Kidnappers often use their victim's phones to make and receive calls during negotiation and they also receive ransom in cash so Pantami and those advocating for NIN to checkmate abductions are wasting their time.

The best way to combat this is for the security agencies to identify and list out kidnapping flashpoints recorded in the last one year in the country. Example; Abuja-Kaduna road, Enugu-Benue road, Lagos-Ibadan expressway etc and the portion or parts of the roads where the abductions took place.

Also kidnapping den where victims are kept are usually located in hinterlands and difficult terrains so it will really take a lot of resources and energy to combat this security challenge effectively. I recommend the use of drones in combating the menace. Drones can effectively be used in surveillance, intelligence gathering and in launching strikes. The camera on drones can help in identifying enemy bases and troop movement and can strike when signalled.

There is this Iranian-made drone that has been instrumental to Russia's success in Ukraine; "Shahed-136". It's cheaper (about N20million), has long-range capability and can strike target effectively. It's loitering munitions can go upto 12hrs in identifying targets.

Acquiring few dozens of this and effectively deploying it to troubled areas will end kindnapping and banditry on the highway in matter of months 'no jokes'.

Only the little money former minister Betta Edu transfer to her personal account can purchase over 30 units of this. The problem is those that has been leading us in the country over the years are clueless.
i hope they they cannot shoot it down.

Face your region

If he ever bribed judges then it’s INEC fault because this man right here got over 80% of his peoples vote

If INEC was up and doing he wouldn’t have any need bribing anyone

Moreover how much did Tinubu bribe judges and INEC since you’re the commissioner of bribery affairs
people don't like good thing my brother
