There are many people born abroad who still want to connect with their roots. With Nigerian passport he can visit Nigeria easily. If you stay in places like Lekki, Ikeja who go kidnap youhuh. Are there not foreigners living in lagos how many have been kidnappedhuh If police hear his accent you think they will stress himhuh You never hear accent privilege before. Una go just dey talk anyhow.

Mr Op visit the Nigerian embassy website for the information

What parts of Lagos (or even Nigeria in general) are cheaper to live but also safe? Like the other poster said, I don't want to get kidnapped and held for ransom, but I am also not rich rich and can afford lavish life

What do you need a Nigerian passport for?
It’s worthless.
You might even get kidnapped anytime anywhere when you visit Nigeria.
Police will likely arrest and try to extort you if you are young and look rich.
And many more…
Or I forgot to let you know that our “president-elect” forfeited $460k to the USA government as proceeds from narcotics in the past.
Nigeria is a lawless country man, especially for the rich men.
Some will say I’m dissing my country of birth but I’m only saying the truth.
I'm just making preparations so I have somewhere to run away to, incase I end up becoming a fugitive in the UK cheesy

Hi,

I was born and raised in England. I would like to acquire nigerian citizenship. I searched a website and it said that as my father is a nigerian citizen, then I should be eligble for citizenship by birth.

Does anyone know the process for acquiring citizenship in this manner? Because the problem is me and my father don't talk. We are not on good terms. So I know he will not help me with this. Is there a way that I can acquire the citizenship without his help? For example, his name is on my birth certificate so it should be clear proof that he is my father right? Or do they have to meet my father?
