If the Abuja processing centre is receiving applications, I will strongly advise that you go through Abuja. You will get a quicker response.

Lagos has always been slow and slower compared to Abuja.

Abuja no long receive applications. Only way to apply is through Lagos

I applied since on the 8th of December
And still under processing since then
My intended travel date was supposed to to be tomorrow and still nothing
They have delayed a lot of my plans and I need my passport for an urgent travel

Please has anyone ever withdrew an application.
How long does it usually take to get the passport back ?
I sent an email with the filled form of withdrawal and my passport data page

I applied for a short work visa on the 8th December
I was told it would take less than 10 working days and I don’t have an issue as my intended travel date is on the 7th of January
Now the problem is I submitted my passport. And now I need my passport urgently for a France visa (still work) application which is more important currently
Can anyone please help give me guidance on how to fast track it or possibly if I can withdraw from the passport submission since it was optional the first time
Especially now that the Christmas holidays is near
