In d case of Amaechi vs Omehia part of why Amaechi became d governor was because it was argued at that time that it was PDP that won d election if not one wud v expected d second party/candidate with d highest total vote cast to have been declared winner and by so doing d party that refused to clean her house in order during gubernatorial primaries will lick their wounds.
