I'm thinking about buying a lifted golf cart and have been comparing different models over the past few weeks.

Most people seem to focus on the appearance, but I believe there are more important things to consider before making a purchase.

For those who already own one, what would you recommend checking before buying?

Some questions I have are:

Is an electric or gas model better?
How important is the suspension quality?
Are larger tires more expensive to maintain?
What battery life should buyers expect from electric models?
Is maintenance significantly different from a standard golf cart?
Are lifted golf carts suitable for commercial use, resorts, or large properties?
