Folks quoting and responding to their alternate IDs.. You will love to see it. You might think Nigeria is lawless, but you can be rest assured the FG like making scapegoats out of dispensable elements to prove a point. There is an awakening that even top government functionaries are weary... Once your face goes viral, you will go down faster than your nerves could move. No dey form commando, dey form say you be MOSSAD.. No serious security personnel will act the way that useless fellow is frothing in the mouth.. Anyway... Nairaland.com is an alternate universe for nobodies to become somebody.. While at it, ensure you don't over indulge yourself... There could be repercussions. 19 Likes |

Ilovetoinvest: You earnestly feel I will waste my time on this argument .. You said the boys came there after the shooting.. Now show me your own video PROVING that.... If you have no video, then please spare us your conjectures.. What do you mean by real AK 47? ....You must be joking if this the best defense you can offer despite video evidence of Policemen taking aim, and shooting, while using the fence as a shield. Within seconds, the camera man showed the boys standing their ground.. This is another video from Aba... Tell me the Policemen were chasing a ghost and the marksman was shooting into empty space... https://twitter.com/Lad_Vybz/status/1318921868926124040?s=19 6 Likes |

Education / Re: ASUU Strike: Resolution Of ASUU Branches On Fg’s Offer by jmaine: 10:30am On Oct 20, 2020 |
Jman06: Anyone who blames ASUU for rigging the election for Buhari should never be taken seriously. It is a lie taken too far. I will simply pose some questions that demands you answer them. jmaine: Jman06: Yeah, comfortably excuse the FG entirely from doing the needful, while we should cower in shame in shame and accept our misfortune. If the fight is being defeated, why is the FG desperate for settlement? Oh! yes, it has finally dawned on them the sleeping and docile masses are willing to take them head on. I hope when the desired change comes, active government supporters like you don't benefit. Benefitting should be like a poison to you lot. Jman06: The impact of Covid-19 and the state of the country at the moment did not stop the government from looting Covid-19 funds, It did not stop them from looting returned Abacha loot, It did not stop them from maintaining their mega paycheck and allowances, it did not stop them from looting hundreds of billion in a farce school feeding programmes while students were at home. The same Covid Reality did not stop them from continuing the sleeze in their 2021 budget proposal. You comfortably excuse the politicians, and demand the masses suffer in penury to satisfy the insatiable gluttony of our leaders. You are indeed one of a kind. Jman06: The youth are on the streets for the same reason ASUU is insisting the govt. show cause to their demands. The masses have finally understood ASUU plight in entering into watery paper promises without necessary action seen. Shame on you sir.... You are clearly on the side of the oppressor, eat and merry while it lasts, cos the citizens are coming for your kind. 6 Likes |

Jman06: You must be joking or being plain mischievous.. You mean the union should fall into the set trap that necessitated the current industrial action.. If we are in a democracy, why are citizens protesting massively to end Police brutality, while the problem still fester.. Folks like you are the reason why the politicians are taking us for a ride. We should accept their crumbs, usual lies, and manage. How will ASUU use their heads to get whatever they want if not by rejecting lies, and demanding for implementation. I am prolly sure you are against the #EndSARS movement going on by your defeatist view. 19 Likes |

obstead200: You aren't making any sense, It takes a lot to produce text books, I am sure you used PN Okeke physics text book in your secondary school if you were a science student. Will you also call Prof. PN Okeke a fraud. There are countless of quality text books produced by Nigerian scholars, offcourse i don't expect a potential drop out to appreciate what it takes to produce good texts for students. There is nothing you, or the government can do that past military regimes didn't try but failed woefully, pata pata all scholars will abandon the system and leave it for dunces like you to finally ruin them. On election matters Is it ASUU that has refused to amend and strengthen the electoral laws to make it foolproof? Is it ASUU that arms the youths with guns and cutlasses to wreck havoc during elections? Is it ASUU that induces voters during election? Is it ASUU that chose to sell their votes shamelessly? Is ASUU, INEC that supervises the entire process? It is shameful you lack depth in good logical, and rational thinking. You and your cohorts mess up the entire process, and expect collaters to do magic, what a shame. Your output on this thread demonstrates you never passed through the four walls of the university, we don't train shallow minds like you. .. Take a break from cyberspace and do a thorough re-evaluation of yourself, 2020 is long gone, 2021 may usher learning opportunities for you. Have a wonderful day ahead lad. |

obstead200: You are talking out of ignorance.. ASUU has no business with your school fees, and lecturers in Federal Universities don't sell handouts... A student who feels he is not supposed to buy text books has lost his/her purpose as a student. Like I said, if it means lecturing under the trees, ASUU is ready to accept it for better pay at the moment .. When the time is ripe, the students will face the govt, and demand better funding for education. We can't continue fighting for the welfare of the system, while those who will benefit from it continually insult us. |
Education / Re: IPPIS: Government Can’t Use ASUU Platform To Pay Us — University Workers by jmaine: 4:57pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
obstead200: Your mentality is why ASUU members are insisting their leadership focus on their welfare and jettison any talk about revitalization of Universities. They should also allow the FG increase tuition to 300K, we are ready to lecture students under trees. When that happens, the Nigerian students and parents will appreciate the union. |
Education / Re: IPPIS: Government Can’t Use ASUU Platform To Pay Us — University Workers by jmaine: 8:44pm On Oct 16, 2020 |
obstead200: You under estimate ASUU... The Military government including the dreaded Abacha did worse, but the union ASUU has remained ever strong. Have you seen the FG is already getting desperate and uncomfortable to let the strike continue, I bet they didn't think their recalcitrant attitude towards education will back fire... Agents of darkness like you who seek the destruction the last standing education strata will come to. Nought. . Look at the dead public primary and secondary education we currently have. Is that what you desire. |

MT: Everyone online is a giant, while offline they are mostly nonentities We have loads of scholars winning fellowships in top ranked institutions globally, but a certain e-warrior feels they are inferior in his infinitesimal mind. A team of academics built a formidable software in record time for the FG to deploy to solve the current impasse. A solution to the FG at no extra cost than the IPPIS that attracts a subscription from soft alliance, a company owned by Tinubu.. When you will take your expertise to the IPPIS office to help them tweak the software to accommodate the peculiarities causing labour crisis in the Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.? You have no moral standing to lecture anyone on self worth.. Stand down.. |

MT: Nonsense.. Still parroting what has proven to be a baseless points. We have gone pass this infantile rant as yours... When next the FG is advertising, apply for the post of a professor, and make sure you are harmed with the necessary publications in reputable international journals as expected. Some of you simply use the anonymity of social media to chat bullshit. |
Education / Re: FG Stops Salaries Of University Workers Not Enrolled On IPPIS by jmaine: 4:49pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
amerengues: You spoke very well bro.. However, I am of the opinion ASUU should jettison all pro students struggles like Increase in school fees and revitalization, and focus solely on welfare... The culture of being insulted simply because the students are too myopic in their views of a better education system has to end.. Let the FG increase the school fees to a minimum of 350k as they plan.. We will teach them under trees if that is what it will take to mind our business squarely... |
Education / Re: FG Stops Salaries Of University Workers Not Enrolled On IPPIS by jmaine: 4:41pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
MT: As an IT person.. How many years does it take to tweak a software cos ASUU pointed out this issues since 2013..? Enrollment of the Tertiary education sector started November last year.. Why hasn't this been done? By your submission, you are simply implying the FG is on a deliberate course to sabotage the education sector, else they did take into cognisance the issues causing industrial crisis.. You better sit this one out and stop claiming what you are obviously not.. 1 Like |

AniwetaluEmma: Even the OAGF recognised that point 2 is valid.. But as we speak, IPPIS has clearly shown it cannot accommodate them.. Why not embrace an alternative that does the same job, but supervised by your office. Thanks for input. 2 Likes |
