All of you crucifying me should read this http://observerreports.com/2013/09/players-to-watch-in-europe-this-week-mesut-ozil/ I believe that even if Ozil succeeds at Arsenal, in 2 or 3 years time he will leave to win a trophy elsewhere like others before him. Can you imagine that Theo Walcott has not won a trophy in his life before. All thanks and no thanks to the Gunners. Hahahaha |
How come no one is talking about Eto'o and Willian? Is it that Chelsea fans don't like the signings? |
I like Ozil by the way so I'm not wishing him any bad luck |
siddiq202: If you think Man U will loss like this postIf you think he doesn't know how to speak English like this post |
If you think Chelsea will win this match like this post |
We are going to see the wonders your Ozil will perform today. Is he the new Fabregas? Is he the messiah? Keep giving him the hype, but make sure he doesn't flop at the end of the day. |
jay bee: Care to provide us some evidence (figures)?Lampard is more prolific from the spot. He has so far scored nearly 50 penalties for Chelsea and 9 for England (the highest for any player who has played for England). How can you compare him with someone who has not scored more than 15? |
He's a good penalty taker, but Lampard's statistics dwarf his. |
Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Eto'o will play against Everton tomorrow. Here's what the folks at Observer Reports think: http://observerreports.com/2013/09/players-to-watch-out-for-in-europe-this-week-samuel-etoo/ |
Recent form Sunderland: LDL Arsenal: LWW Possible starting lineups Sunderland: Westwood; Celustka, Colback, Diakite, Dossena; Larsson, Gardner, Johnson, Giaccherini; Altidore, Borini Arsenal: Szczesny; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott; Giroud |
Sunderland will be looking to move out of the relegation zone when they host Arsenal on Saturday afternoon. Paolo Di Canio's side are yet to win a league match this season, having lost two and drawn one of their opening three games. The Black Cats went into the international break off the back of a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace. Arsenal have won their last two Premier League games, including a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby two weeks ago. Mesut Ozil is in line to make his Arsenal debut following his deadline-day transfer from Real Madrid. Di Canio could hand debuts to new signings Fabio Borini and Andrea Dossena, while John O'Shea is suspended following his sending off against Palace. |
Recent form Everton: DDD Chelsea: WWD Possible starting lineups Everton: Howard; Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines; Mirallas, Pienaar, Osman, Barry, Barkley; Jelavic Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard; Eto'o |
Everton will be seeking to record their first league win of the season when they host Chelsea on Saturday. Roberto Martinez's side have drawn all three of their Premier League matches so far, including their stalemate at Cardiff City last time out. Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the league season, winning two and drawing one of their three games to occupy second place in the table. Everton completed the signings of James McCarthy and Gareth Barry on transfer deadline day and both could make their debuts against Chelsea. Romelu Lukaku, who also joined the Toffees on deadline day, is ineligible to face his parent club due to the conditions of his season-long loan switch. The visitors, who lost the Super Cup final on penalties to Bayern Munich a fortnight ago, have no new injury concerns ahead of the match at Goodison Park. New signings Samuel Eto'o and Christian Atsu could make their Chelsea debuts. |

Naija carry go jare, nothing do una. So after Nigeria won the African Cup of Nations countries like Algeria and Ghana are still above us How does FIFA come up with this forgery known as the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking? Colombia of all teams is at number 5. Oooooohttp://observerreports.com/2013/09/super-eagles-give-nigerians-more-reasons-to-put-our-faith-in-them/ |
hahahahahahaha |
5 months after mobile number portability was introduced in Nigeria by the NCC with so much hype and buzz, it seems that not many Nigerians have actually ported to another network. If you have ported to another network please let us know. Also, what do you think is responsible for the lack of enthusiasm shown by Nigerians in porting to another network? |
Arabic, Chilean and Argentine commentaries have been added. |
Chamackh: Your are claiming those artist as Nigerians while rejecting the guy that killed British soldier (michael Adebola and his accomplice)Don't derail the thread. |
But the game is not available on plates yet. That would be by September 19 according to Konami. |

PES 14 has been released! http://observerreports.com |
Proevolution Soccer 14 comes with tantalizing new features that will capture the imaginations of gamers worldwide, as well as the regulars. As with more recent installments of the game, big club competitions like the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Supercup will be featured under full UEFA license. That is to say that the competitions will come with their official logos, trophies as well as theme song. All the clubs that took part in the 2012-13 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will be available for selection in the game. For the first time ever, gamers will be able to compete in the Europa League without entering the Master League. Players using the PES 14 Master League will be able to switch teams for the first time (the reason I’m looking forward to the game) and they will also be able to coach national teams. Low points for the game include the failure of Konami to land a couple of major licensing deals, losing out to rivals EA Sports, makers of FIFA 14, in some key areas. Spanish stadiums and the stadium editor functionality will be absent from this year’s game. “Rain” mode will also not be available for selection in matches. http://observerreports.com/2013/09/features-to-watch-out-for-in-konamis-new-release-pes-14/ |

Seanord: Fela shud be on diz list....and dat tribalist talkin bout south south repin shud stfuWe are only dealing with artistes that are still alive. |
1soul: OP where did you put Chiddy Bang? Incase you don't know, he still holds the Guinness world record for the longest freestyle ever. What about Lemar Obika? He's a top UK soul singer with hit records like "Time To Grow" etc.Lemar Obika is not very popular even in the UK. He was considered along with some other international acts of Nigerian parentage, but was not included in the list. As for Chiddy Bang, he might have made it if the list was extended to 20. |
They are surely going to avoid the top teams http://observerreports.com/2013/09/super-eagles-give-nigerians-more-reasons-to-put-our-faith-in-them/ |
Mods please send this topic to the front page |
Fussbot: so dis 'seal' na yoruba...lwkmThanks. Most people, even Nigerians, don't know that they are from here. But I'm sure that they themselves know and come back home once in a while. |
The list is not only about R&B and hiphop stars. Musicians from all genres were considered. Yes, Sunny Ade was popular way back, but how many people outside Nigeria know him now? The list was compiled based on how popular these musicians are now. You may argue that Sade Adu is also there, but a lot of people, especially in the UK and Europe still remember and know her very well. |
