dumped my e6 for htc desire n no regret at all. android is d best o.s hv used ever. i started hating my e6 wen i updated it from symbian anna to symbian belle refresh. d worst thing is that u cant revert back to formal o.s. when i got android i rooted n install custom room(o.s), beside u can backup ur o.s before installin new one incase d new one has problm u can restore d previous. android fone is just like pc were u format and install any windows(o.s) of ur choice. another amazing thing android has is applications n games, any application or game u want is there for u. android all d way... |

Chrisfab: pls which apps did used to root your phone cos I've tried d ones I know and they were unable km root it.I tried zroot,gingerbreak,universalroot etc it wasn't successful.I don't have pc.u need: * computer * internet * htc driver sync or htc desktop manager * at least 50% battery charged of ur fone * USB cable to connect ur fone to d computer to root htc desire. if u have these then let me knw |

hello fellers, do u own htc desire? if yes den ur highly welcm. dis fone is great, in terms of hardware, battery life and durability. camera is great, d only problm is d low internal memory which is 147mb but dnt worry there is a way u can increase up to 1gig using sd partition i.e sharing ur sd card as internal memory. d fone came wit android 2.2 froyo but mine has been rooted and running on android 2.3 which is d most stable n compactable rom, besides dat u can also run android 4.2 jellybean but d camera nt compactible wit 4.2. am here to help if u gat any issue wit d fone. |

@Switchie, i think d best option for u is to reflash ur fone with a custom rom by booting into recovery mode. Ur files wil b lost anyway. |

it has happened to me several times, but the remedy is that uninstall the previous one or download new one through their website or playstore if using android phone. hope that help! |
