Bro..........The newbies won't understand those days....
My first redmi phone was redmi 4x in 2017 purchase directly from Aliexpress. The phone was a beast at its time, with shikini money. The phone was powered with a Snapdragon chip that out performed tecno and infinix flagship phones then. And the price then was same as tecno Phantom series. So we got extra value for our money.
Redmi as a sub brand fell off the rail when our marketers brought them to Nigeria, they started dishing out rubbish specs to Nigeria base on demands by our marketers, just to make money by selling useless spec. Check the Indian variant, you won't see all this useless spec we see in Nigeria, and the prices is OK for their spec.
Xiaomi are still at it game, and poco is trying. But Redmi are losing it. Imagine Redmi note 15 5G after seeing the spec on Gsm arena, I was shock to discover that it's not for Nigerian market. It's the useless Helio G100 chip they sent to Nigeria. @noobody please do you have Redmi Note 15 5G?

Redmi used to make great epic phones until recently. They have become like Trannsion. They started falling off around redmi 10 series

I got my RN7 yesterday, this phone is wow, battery life since morning with heavy use is still 40%. Speed, camera, screen display, Gorilla glass are exquisite. But the notification light is too tiny.


* Please some suggest a launcher for me, I don't enjoy the Miui launcher, and TSF launcher is not showing app icon proper.

Somebody help me out ooh, my phone is RN4x and am trying to update to miui 9 and and it's telling me (can't verify update other reasons). And when I checked my current miui version I was surprise to see I was on miui 8.5.7.0 stable rom, and this rom is not among the list of rom on miui site for RN4x. Pls who has anyone contact in Abuja who can help me update to Miui 9 I don't knw much abt phone flashing, make I no go brick the fone. Tanks my contact 08096100117
