it would have been difficult for other opponent to beat Jonathan. |
what is the reason for this thread? to mock or laugh the patent? |
trump only want a trade balance... but the truth is that building that way will cost trillions of dollars. I believe America have more pressing need than that wall. |
but the zombies and afojan was praising buhari at that time when he combine the ministries? when a government tried to save cost or tightening expenditure it increase recession. you don't increase tax just like that. it has it consequence. increasing taxes causes inflation while tightening expenditure increase recession. weather you like it all not. money needs to be spend to go round. now civil servants people are saving cost and also tightening the little budget they have. all this will causes economic stiff. we need rich lavish spenders to save the economy. every policy has it advantage and consequence. government should first look out for disadvantage and consequence before dishing out policies. |
Rossikki:America is enjoying it buying power which is the strong dollar. they buy international trade with more buying power. example is that can buy Nigeria with few dollars. but the disadvantage is not good for selling in international trade. merely people cheaper goods that is the down side. when 1 dollars was equal to 1 naira. Nigerians were buy made in USA no body knows about China. but America make shlure they devalued Africa currency internationally to make Africa and asia poor so that they can be rich with buying power. bit the down side is devaluation favored selling/ exporting and not importing that is China edge. we are suffering now is because we are importing country. America manufacturing company cannot compete with china because of their stronger dollars. that is the two side of a coin. advantage and disadvantage they have to choose one. |
let solve this maths right now (2017) the world has 7.12 billion people and there is a rate of growth around 1.1% per year which would be an average of 80 million per year. Let assume that the current growth rate 1.1% percentage stayed the same. what will be the world population by 3017? (a thousands years time) |
cstr55:how you aware Russia has the biggest nuclear bomb. ? the Russia tsar bomb is the biggest nuclear bomb that can send the Lagos into extinction and the whole of southwest into waste land from radiation forever. |
LOL....and if Putin puts missiles in the air or north Korea shot into USA Americans will be dead before Congress ever gave the vote to strike back. there is already a not use first treaty which all countries is complying to. and only use for defense. |
trump nuclear weapons illustration 3x4 (Two Democrats are trying to curb Donald Trump's ability to launch a nuclear strike.Getty Images; US Navy; illustration by Business Insider) Rep. Ted W. Lieu and Sen. Edward J. Markey, both Democrats, introduced legislation on Tuesday that would forbid the president from launching a nuclear strike without first having Congress declare war. The bill expresses clear doubts in President Donald Trump's judgment, with the lawmakers saying in a joint release "the crucial issue of nuclear 'first use' is more urgent than ever now that President Donald Trump has the power to launch a nuclear war at a moment’s notice." “It is a frightening reality that the US now has a Commander-in-Chief who has demonstrated ignorance of the nuclear triad, stated his desire to be ‘unpredictable’ with nuclear weapons, and as President-elect was making sweeping statements about US nuclear policy over Twitter," the statement continues, apparently referencing a moment in a Republican primary debate in which Trump appeared not to know what the US's nuclear triad was. NOW WATCH: There will be no one in charge of America’s nuclear arsenal when Trump takes office As it stands, the president has 24/7 access to a "nuclear football " and may launch nuclear weapons at any given time without approval. Meanwhile, Congress has not declared war since World War II. Daryl Kimball, executive director of the Arms Control Association , issued a statement praising Lieu and Markey for writing their bill, but told Business Insider it's legislation they would have supported before or after Trump's inauguration. "This is a message bill. It’s intended to express concern about the fact that Donald Trump of all people has access to the nuclear weapons codes that can launch up to 900 nuclear weapons in 10 minutes without any other official needing to review and approve," Kimball said. (A Minuteman-III missile in its silo in 1989.Public Domain) "The fundamental purpose of US nuclear weapons is to deter a nuclear attack," Kimball said. "They're not intended to be used in response to or preempt a conventional attack or chemical or biological weapons attack." The bill would only limit Trump's ability to launch a strike first. As a vital part of US nuclear deterrence, the president can authorize a strike in retaliation, or when the US receives intelligence that enemy nukes are inbound. "What the bill highlights is the undemocratic nature of the process by which the commander-in-chief can launch a devastating strike involving nuclear weapons and all but invite a devastating response against US forces," said Kimball. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/democrats-introduce-bill-curb-trumps-234100407.html

President Muhammadu Buhari is well
and alive, the presidency said late on
Saturday after a news website published
a story that the Nigerian leader has
passed away in London. Metro-uk.com, which can be confused for the more recognised metro.co.uk, ascribed the source of its story to unnamed officials of the Nigerian High Commission in London and a presidential aide who claimed Buhari died of an “unknown disease”. But the presidency insisted all is well with the 74-year old Nigerian leader. “Best wishes to all who wish PMB well. As for those who carry evil rumours, may they receive grace to repent,” tweeted Femi Adesina, Buhari’s media adviser. “He is alive and well! President Buhari is not magical. He cannot be holidaying in the UK and be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time,” said another presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu. www.guardian.ng/news/presidency-denies-buhari-death-rumour/ |

Donald Trump supporters were horrified to
learn the "Make America Great Again" sold
at his inauguration were actually made in
China, Vietnam and Bangladesh. Despite the new president's pledge to "buy American and hire American", street vendors flogged caps in Washington that were mass produced in the Far East. Thousands of Trump's supporters took to the streets to see the billionaire become the 45th president of the USA, succeeding Barack Obama . Many bought hats bearing his "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan, but were horrified to learn they were foreign- made. Rob Walker, 44, who had driven to Washington from Georgia with his wife Abby, 36, had stopped at a truck stop on the way to buy a "Make America Great Again" cap. "Oh God, I hope it's not made in China," Abby said, flipping the cap over to check the label. "China! Don't tell anyone." The Trump hats available for purchase on Trump's official campaign website are made in the United States and cost between $25 and $30, according to the label inside those caps. But they are more expensive than the $20 versions sold by street vendors in Washington on Friday. Joshua Rojas, 25, and Alyssa Young, 28, had traveled from Texas to watch the inauguration. Young was wearing a pink "Make America Great Again" hat. "I loved it as soon as I saw it, I bought it right over there from one of the vendors for $20," she said. Asked where it was made, she said: "I don't know where it was made actually. Let me check." She took off the hat to check the label and cried: "Oh no, it's made in Vietnam!" Austin Araco, 22, from Arkansas, was attending his first inauguration and wearing a Trump hat. "I bought this hat the day he won the election," said Araco. "From his website, of course. I wanted to make sure I supported his fund. "I don't want to buy a knock-off. I bought the hat for $30, shipping included." Victoria Scott, 13, and her brother Andrew Scott, 12, each bought a "Make America Great Again" hat before the inauguration. Victoria's hat cost $25 - and was made in China. She did not seem to mind. Andrew then checked his hat. "Banglakesh?" he said after checking the tag. His father corrected him: "You mean Bangladesh." And Robert Morrison from Queens, New York, was carrying his "Make America Great Again" hat - bought from a street vendor for $20 - and wearing a New York Yankees cap. Both were made in China. In his speech, Trump said: "From this moment on, it's going to be America First. "We will follow two simple rules: buy American and hire American." During his campaign, Trump said China was being allowed to "rape our country" by under-cutting US businesses. www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/make-america-great-again-hats-9665437

I do not believe this Barrow of a guy will be any better than jammeh. Ghana makes 20% of it foreign exchange from tourism which means the tiny country is peaceful. there is likely to be insecurity and clueless Barrow with no clue on how to govern. let wait and see. |
