Foreign AffairsGreedy Corruptible Joseph Kabila Plans To Rule Congo Again by JoelSavage(op): 12:51pm On Jan 02, 2019
Following the unrest, violence, demonstration resulting in the killings of innocent Congolese by security forces and the demand for Kabila to step in the troubled country of the Democratic Republic of Congo, it has now come to light that Kabila plans to rule the country again.

The incumbent President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Joseph Kabila plans to put forward his candidacy in the elections-2023. According to Joseph Kabila, he would continue to participate in the country's politics even after his decision to quit politics in 2018, the Air Force Swahili reports.

Sources revealed that the Kabila did not refuse the opportunity to nominate his candidacy for the presidential elections in 2023. The constitution demands President Kabila to resign after the second term but doesn’t prevent a president who has previously ruled the country from contesting.

Therefore, he has the right to participate in elections. Due to the Ebola epidemic and the activities of rebels, elections were postponed several times, which was explained by the ruling party with protracted preparations. The opposition perceived this as the preparation of a Kabila conspiracy to extend its term.

In August 2018, he nominated his associate Emmanuel Ramazani Shadari, the former Minister of the Interior, from the ruling party. However, the European Union imposed sanctions on Mr. Shadari for violating human rights.

The European Union also noted that the government was trying to prevent the campaign of the MLC party. The opposition and the world community doubt that the elections will be independent or free and fair. President Kabila said these concerns are unfounded.

FoodWhy China Breeds Black Chicken? by JoelSavage(op): 10:43pm On Dec 30, 2018
In regards to food, the Chinese are known to eat almost everything edible on earth, including snake, frog, dog, reptiles, fried pupa etc, however, the Chinese have added another special breed of chicken to their menu, an unusual breed of domestic birds with black bones and even black internal organs.

The breed called Chinese silky has very soft fluffy feathers, and inside it differs from other chickens in the sense that it has a skin of a bluish-black shade, dark meat, as well as black bones.

In the West, Chinese silky chickens are bred as a rule for decorative purposes, but in China and some other eastern countries their meat is considered a delicacy and is not available to everyone.

The breed has been known since the 7th century, and it is believed that eating these chickens, known in China as gu chi, 'chicken with black bones,' has a beneficial effect on human health.

For example, Chinese women traditionally eat Chinese silky chickens after childbirth to restore energy, in addition, the Chinese say that black chicken dishes have a positive effect on blood, lungs, and the stomach.

As a rule, so that the meat of gu ji fully manifests its unique properties, it is used to make broth with the addition of ginseng, dried wolfberry, and Chinese dates, and such hens are rarely fried.

In 2011, genetics discovered that the unusual color of the meat and internal organs of these birds, a phenomenon called fibromelanosis, is associated with the mutation of the endothelin-3 gene, which is responsible for the development of pigment, producing cells, which causes an excessive amount of blackening of not only the skin but also the bones and the internal organs.

PoliticsCan The Nigerian Government Conquer Boko Haram In 2019? by JoelSavage(op): 4:59pm On Dec 28, 2018
On March 28, units of the Nigerian army liquidated 25 militants of the Islamist group Boko Haram in the state of Borno in northeastern Nigeria, according to army spokesman Colonel Sani Usman. He further said that the military liberated three more villages, confiscated weapons, and freed 18 people from the militants' captivity.

Less than a year later, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, spoke of significant progress in the fight against Boko Haram. Buhari relocated the military base from the capital of the city of Abuja, to the northeastern city of Maiduguri, coordinating efforts with other armed forces in the region, and using intelligence from the United States and Great Britain.

Buhari claims that Boko Haram is on the run and that his forces have managed to win a technical victory over the group. “This is still fighting force, but we are done with them," said Buhari.

Like always, it is easier said than done. Did the Nigerian Armed Forces decimate Boko Haram as the president had said? Since many Nigerians and their neighbours are still a target of terrorist attacks, as well as for hundreds of thousands of people who had to relocate as a result of the ongoing conflict in the region.

Only in the first two weeks of February 2016, more than 260 people were killed in a series of militant attacks on villages in the state of Borno, The Foreign Affairs newspaper confirmed.

What can the people of Nigeria and the whole world expect from the most brutal terrorist organization in history? And is there a threat to its penetration outside of Africa?

Boko Haram is a terrorist group spreading to northeastern Nigeria, as well as to Chad, Niger and northern Cameroon, under a leader who calls himself Abubakar Shekau.

The group is suspected of having links to al-Qaida, and in March 2015, announced its allegiance to the Islamic State. Since 2009, 20,000 people have been recruited and 2.3 million people were forced to leave their homes. It can't be an exaggeration, Boko Haram is now considered the most deadly terrorist group in the world according to the Global Terrorism Index in 2015.

HealthSolar Energy Water Purification Plastic Sack To Reduce Diseases In Rural Africa by JoelSavage(op): 10:17am On Dec 27, 2018
Access to a clean source of drinking water is a major problem in many developing countries. Villagers often have to cover long distances in search for drinking water. While African leaders are struggling without any means to provide good drinking water in the villages, two students from Denmark have developed a water bag to purify drinking water by solar energy.

The water purification plastic water bottle named 'SolarSack' is inexpensive and environmentally friendly water purification object which uses the solar energy. The concept has already been tested in villages, refugee camps, and slums in East Africa where it will be marketed.

The two Danish architecture and design students, Anders Løcke and Louise Ullmann developed the plastic water container which holds up to four liters of water that can be purified from dirt and bacteria by sun exposure before the water is used.

In the direct heat of the sun for about four hours, between 99.9 and 99.999 percent of all harmful bacteria in the ‘Solar Sack,’ are eliminated. These results were confirmed during SolarSack testing in Kenya and Uganda, where local humanitarian organizations participated alongside with the Danish students.

The water bag which has been approved by the World Health Organization is less than a dollar and can be reused about 150 times. Thus, the water bag provides purified water with the solar energy without a cost.

Foreign AffairsWhy China Creates Its First Military Base In Africa by JoelSavage(op): 10:43pm On Dec 19, 2018
China is creating its first naval base in Africa in Djibouti, the fact that the United States and France military bases are already located in this small country. The expansion of China’s military presence on the Black Continent is due to the sharp increase in Beijing’s economic activity in Africa. It's now clear that after colonization, China has taken over Africa as the new colonial masters.

China sent warships to Djibouti to open its first naval base in Africa and on July 11, 2017, the Chinese ships "Jinggangshan" and the semi-submersible ship "Donheidao" headed for the shores of the Black Continent.

China announced its plans to deploy a naval base in Djibouti as early as January 2016 and on January 21, 2016, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the signing of an agreement with Djibouti on the construction of the military base. The same year, the work began. Officially, China calls the place where its military will be located, “the base of logistics and quick evacuation.”

This news is not surprising, the fact is that China, which for a long time at the initial stages of economic and political reforms in its foreign policy course adhered to the principle of “only economic interests and no politics, but gradually under this principle, and the influence of a number of fundamental factors, China has taken position in Africa.

Djibouti is not an exception to China’s economic penetration, although the country does not possess significant natural resources. The port of Djibouti is the only access to the sea from neighboring mineral-rich Ethiopia. In 2016, China completed the construction of the Addis Ababa-Djibouti railway, through which goods from Ethiopia can enter the port and then be transported by ship to China.

In addition, Chinese companies built an international airport 25 km from the capital Djibouti. Another major Chinese project is the restructuring of the seaport of Djibouti, it might become one of the largest in the world in order to export raw materials coming from the internal regions of Africa.

China’s exorbitant economic growth over the past three decades requires an equally rapid growth in the flow of raw materials, and here, China is faced with significantly increased threats of terrorism and the rupture of trade communications due to armed conflicts on the continent.

Djibouti in the 2000s became the largest center on the African continent, where international forces are concentrated. The country is turning into a focal point of the international coalition to counter terrorist and international groups that threaten global economic communications.

Foreign AffairsUrine Invincible Letters From Concentration Camp by JoelSavage(op): 11:26am On Dec 14, 2018
Pain and suffering in the history of human experimentation reflect on the Nazi Germans, however, Australia, United States of America, the Netherlands, Japan, and Canada, were all associated with scientific research involving human beings.

In the German concentration camps, prisoners of war were tested in scientific hypotheses and development of a variety of biomedical technologies. Wartime dictated its priorities, so doctors were primarily interested in the practical application of scientific theories.

For example, the possibility of maintaining the health of people in conditions of excessive loads, blood transfusions with different Rhesus factors were investigated, while new drugs were tested.

These monstrous experiments include pressure tests, hypothermia experiments, the development of a vaccine against typhoid, experiments with malaria, gas, sea water, poisons, sulfonamide, sterilization experiments, and many others.

In 1941, experiments were carried out with hypothermia. They were led by Dr. Rascher under the direct control of Himmler. The experiments were conducted in two stages.

At the first stage, they found out what temperature and how long a person can withstand, and the second stage was to determine how to restore the human body after frostbite.

To carry out such experiments, prisoners were taken out in the winter without clothes for the whole night or were placed in ice water. Experiments on hypothermia were carried out exclusively on men in order to simulate the conditions in which the German soldiers were on the Eastern Front since the Nazis were poorly prepared for the winter period of time.

For example, in one of the first experiments, prisoners were lowered into a container with water, the temperature of which ranged from 2 to 12 degrees, in pilot suits. At the same time, they put on life jackets, which kept them afloat.

As a result of the experiment, Rasher found that attempts to bring a person who has fallen into icy water back to life are almost zero if the cerebellum was supercooled.

This led to the development of a special vest with a head restraint that covered the back of the head and did not allow the back of the head to sink into the water.

In 1942, the same Dr. Rascher began conducting experiments on prisoners using pressure changes. Thus, the doctors tried to establish what kind of air pressure a person can withstand, and for how long.

TravelIf You Find A Missing Wallet Full Of Money Will You Give To The Owner Or Keep It by JoelSavage(op): 5:53pm On Dec 10, 2018
Money is very tempting, after all, because of money everyone is struggling in this crazy world, to provide security and stability for our family. Therefore, if you find someone’s wallet with full of money (between 250 and 300 Euros), will you find the owner to give it back to him or you’ll keep because you think God has blessed you?

In the year 2001, I was employed as a cleaner and dishwasher in the company running both a restaurant and a cinema, (Cartoons Cinema and Restaurant) in the city of Antwerp. During the cleaning hours in the three cinema halls, I found many items such as mobile phones, umbrellas, jackets, and missing wallets.

Whatever item I found, I keep it for weeks, sometimes the owners come for the found items and at times, they don’t come. When such things happen, I will inform the management about it and the items will be kept. I have three mobile phones back to their owners. The delights I found in their eyes encouraged me to be more faithful in my work.

Within my three years service, I found three missing wallets. There was one which contains a specified amount of money; (about 150 Euros) credit cards and the code digits to cash money, assuming the wallet went into the hands of a criminal. Because of her driving license, I knew where she stays. I went to her house but she wasn’t there.

After work, I went to her house again, but she wasn’t there. The third time, she wasn’t still in the house but this time, I saw a police van with two policemen in it right in front of the house. I approached the van, explained and handed over the wallet to them. I have a lot to do and being in her house thrice without finding her was consuming my precious time.

One of the policemen gave me a thumb, pleased over what I did and seemed more surprised when he saw the code digits card which any criminal could have used to cash out the woman’s money from her savings account. I was at work when I had a visitor. Why is this lady looking for Joel Savage? My mind was full of thoughts.

She came to me and stretched out her hand to shake. According to her, she was the one I gave her wallet to the police. “Thanks for bringing back my wallet.

In fact, I have been very busy. You saw the police van parked in front of my house because my neighbour living upstairs has committed suicide and the police are there to take the body,” she told me. The lady again visited me but this time with a gift.

PoliticsThe Wages Of Underdevelopment Is Africa’s Scramble For Europe by JoelSavage(op): 3:53pm On Nov 24, 2018
The nineteenth century became saturated with events and a turning point in the relationship of tropical Africa with the outside world.

It was a century of increasing trade with the outside world and gradual integration into the world economic system, the fight against the slave trade and the growth of Europe’s commercial interest in Africa, research and missionary activity, colonization and resistance.

At the beginning of the century, Africans were dominated in the slave trade that replaced the West and Central Africa and having full political sovereignty on almost the entire subcontinent, firmly held fate in their hands,.

Then the century ended with a fight for Africa and colonial division, those who transferred the definition of the historical fate of African society to a large extent into the hands of European civilizers and trustees.

Between the 1870s and 1900, Africa experienced European imperialist invasion, diplomatic pressures, military invasions, and eventual conquest and colonization. The colonialists are directly or indirectly responsible for many of the problems of the current African countries today.

For example, intertribal hostility, it is known that the Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda and Burundi did not perceive themselves as two different people until the Belgian colonial authorities introduced a population registration system that fixed these concepts as hereditary, and did not rely on Tutsis who were considered racially closer to Europeans.

During colonization, Europeans didn’t strive to provide technologies or develop the continent. In the first place, why did Europeans colonize Africa? Because of the rich resources, therefore, it wasn’t an important issue to develop Africa. They left it untouched and looted its riches abroad.

And after independence swept through Africa, most of the leaders that followed the ‘fathers of independence,’ weren’t also interested to move the continent further, instead, foreign banks became the right place where stolen money is kept.

They say, “Whatever goes around comes around.” Europe is now reaping the bad seeds they sowed in Africa, as the changing human geography in Africa becomes an issue of concern. Africa’s current migration flow towards Europe is now compared to the colonial scramble for Africa.

China is now scrambling for Africa over the continent’s rich resources, while Africa is scrambling for Europe, as growing young middle-class will immigrate to Europe looking for economic prosperity.

Since the 1930s, Africa has seen the most significant population growth, the fastest urban growth, and the largest concentration of young people. As the population booms and young people migrate, Africa is seeing mass rural exodus and urban drift to Europe.

Young Africans, including women, running away from oppressive social structures and seeking a better life in Europe, with many vibrant communities of Afro-Europeans already present, and a growing young middle class attuned to Western popular culture.

The dangers these desperate Africans encounter on high seas don’t mean anything or prevent them from embarking on these dangerous voyages.

According to a migration spokesperson, since 1993, over 27,000 people trying to reach Europe have died, often when the boats capsize. With thousands of orphans in Africa due to Aids and poverty, it’s not certain that Europe is free from migration explosion from Africa.

Europe and America destroyed Africa through slavery, colonization, Apartheid, Aids and now Ebola. They must, therefore, accept the result of the bad seeds they planted in Africa.

HealthEbola- The Blood Speaks After Death by JoelSavage(op): 3:25pm On Nov 19, 2018
Sometimes, the way world leaders deal with an issue which threatens the world’s security and puts the lives of people in danger shows it’s a crime against humanity. Already, people have started asking: Why Ebola keeps on ravaging Congo (Africa), yet Donald Trump and other world leaders, including Africa, haven’t said anything about it?

How can Donald Trump or African leaders answer such a question? At the end of it all, an illiterate in the remotest part of Africa, who can’t even write his name, can tell his fellow African that “these Americans want to kill Africans again after Aids.” Oh yes, it’s damn true, not an exaggeration.

The outbreak of Ebola seventeen times in Congo, since its first outbreak in 1976, reveals that it’s neither a bat, flying bird, insects, nor bushmeat which is responsible for the spread of Ebola in Congo. The Ebola virus is a biological weapon engineered from the laboratories of the US government, period.

If Ebola is not a biological weapon or a medical crime, after Aids, why world leaders wouldn’t show any concern, instead they are worried about the deadly disease getting into the hands of terrorist groups? America and its allies have gambled on the blood of innocent victims in the past, and have enjoyed impunity but not this time. They pay for it no matter how long it takes.

The initial plan of the Aids virus was to depopulate Africa or kill black people. Every intelligent person, whether educated or not needs to ask this question: They said poverty caused the rapid spread of Aids in Africa, did poverty also cause the rapid spread of Aids in African-Americans? Why the black population in both Africa and the United States of America has the highest HIV-AIDS infection at the same time?

According to the World Health Organization, Aids came to America as a result of monkeys brought to America from the Philippines, did those monkeys made a transit in Africa before the United States of America? You see, this how man has dominated man to his injury. The world is cruel; with leaders without conscience and integrity.

The power of money has influenced them to turn their back against God to commit grave crimes but they will pay for every crime they have committed. Yes, the blood of the innocent victims will cry for justice, whether they claim responsibility for the evil actions or not.

Nothing is going well in this crazy world, therefore, it’s now assumed that Satan rules this world but who is the Satan? Satan is everyone causing misery against his own brother or sister for their selfish gain. Lies and hypocrisy are now included in the policy of every government because they can’t do without them.

Health officials fighting to subdue Ebola in Congo are being interviewed, appearing on CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera, but these health officials are not in Congo to fight Ebola because of sympathy or love for the Congolese. They are there to avoid the spread of the disease to Europe and the United States of America. That’s all, they think we don’t know?

TravelDoes This Young Man Deserves Deportation From Britain To Ghana? by JoelSavage(op): 2:47pm On Nov 15, 2018
Kweku Adoboli, the convicted former UBS trader has been deported from the UK to Ghana, his country of birth after Home Office officials put him on a flight from Heathrow airport on Wednesday afternoon. That’s the news circulating in British newspapers following his deportation.

However, taking certain issues I am about to put down into consideration, one could clearly see or judge that Kweku Adoboli doesn’t deserve to be deported to Ghana. He lost his case because of the colour of his skin, despite serving a prison sentence for the crime he committed.

Adoboli has to go to the Home Office to report. Solving problems with the Home Office in the United Kingdom is a normal procedure for every immigrant having immigration issues to live in the UK. And while at the Home Office, Adoboli was arrested and taken to Harmondsworth Immigration Center. Then on Wednesday, under escort, he was deported back to Ghana.

Kweku Adoboli came to the United Kingdom at the age of 12. He had his education to the university level. He wasn’t even yet a teenager when he entered the UK, therefore, all his childhood experience was in the UK, not Ghana or Africa.

Everyone who commits a crime must pay, therefore, Adoboli was jailed for seven years in 2012, after being found guilty of fraud that cost UBS $2.3bn (£1.8bn). He was released after serving half his sentence. Why was he released in the first place? That means that the law took certain things into consideration.

When talking about crime, can the British government accept and agree with Africans the crime they have committed against the continent of Africa before and after independence? The African or the black man is considered inferior, thus; Britain and America have committed serious crimes against Africa with impunity.

The black man has lost his own identity in broad daylight crimes by Britain and America during slavery, Apartheid, colonial brutality, Aids and Ebola biological weapons, which world leader has been called to stand trial for all these crimes against humanity?

America and Britain don’t tolerate crime, yet the clandestine crime these two countries have committed in Africa is so appalling that we need to ask if Africa has leaders. No African leader seems to care about crimes committed in Africa against Africans.

If African leaders don’t care about their own people why should Britain or America care about an African who has committed a crime and punished for his crime, above all in the country while 12? When will our leaders show that the black man is also a human being?

What does Kweku Adoboli’s deportation mean to the Ghanaian government and the entire African continent? What lessons can we learn from this injustice done to this young man? Are African leaders going to side with Britain and America to destroy the continent with Ebola after Aids?

PoliticsWhy Africa Remains A Reservoir For Europe To Draw Resources For Development by JoelSavage(op): 12:18pm On Nov 14, 2018
The colonial exploitation of African countries became one of the foundations of the heyday of capitalism in Europe and for centuries supported the economic expansion of the Old World, and then the United States.

At present, Africa is again viewed by Europeans, America and China, as a promising source of resources, control of which is vital for ensuring further development. On the other hand, Africa is getting poorer and poorer battling to live a normal life amidst vast resources

The role of Africa in the history of Europe and America, as a whole cannot be overestimated. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Europe, known to us - a global center of economic, technological power, a special model of development, a reliable system of social guarantees, exists today because of Africa.

That is, the riches that were literally plundered in Africa by Europeans and without this organized robbery, which lasted for centuries and still taking place in different methods, today's prosperous Europe would not exist.

Apparently, the Europeans continue to see Africa as a reservoir from which to draw resources for development. This is indicated by the persistent attention with which the leaders of the European Union recently relate to the Black Continent.

This attention was manifested quite recently and became noticeable especially after the Brexit. The exit of Britain and the EU forced the union to look for a new paradigm of existence in the face of increasing competition for a place under the sun.

In January 2017, German Economic Cooperation Minister Gerd Muller proposed launching a new Marshall Plan for Africa. He called on African countries to develop their own economies with the help of the EU, which will lead to mutually beneficial results.

In May , one of the most prominent European politicians, the Minister of Finance in Germany, Wolfgang Schäuble, said "For us, the Europeans, the complexity largely come from Africa, with all due respect to the continent if we do not manage to reduce the wealth gap, all of us will face a very serious threats. "

And shortly thereafter, the newly elected President of France, Emmanuel Macron, made his first visit outside Europe to Africa, in order to visit the French military stationed in Mali. Then in Paris, came to the UN Security Council with the initiative to create united armed forces of five African countries to fight jihadists in the Sahel zone, that is, in the regions lying directly to the south of the Sahara.

And these days in Berlin in the framework of the preparation of the G-20 summit, an international conference devoted to the problems of Africa is being held. Speaking at its opening, Chancellor Angela Merkel, in particular, said: "If the situation in Africa is too hopeless, then, of course, young people will think about looking for a better life somewhere else. Therefore, if we act together to help your countries, we will provide greater security for ourselves and will be able to stop people who are illegally cashing in on the fate of others. "

PoliticsWhy China Now Unofficially Becomes Member Of The African Union? by JoelSavage(op): 7:04pm On Nov 10, 2018
Was China praying for Western colonization in Africa to come to an end? It is obvious that during the colonial era in Africa, the Chinese were training, sharpening their skills and getting prepared to take over because they saw the African continent the right place they could depend on to make China rich by developing Africa.

China’s interest in Africa is often said to be based on a strong desire to open up colonies. The front page news in Western newspapers exclaimed that with the support of the wealthy and powerful Chinese government, Chinese companies will sweep Africa's business opportunities, which is not good for Western companies and local businesses. Given these new developments, is it possible for Africa to benefit from China’s growing investment in Africa?

Africa’s market now over flooded with "Made in China" goods, and it seems that every Chinese construction worker is seen on a construction site, it is easy to conclude that China is taking over Africa and developing in Africa. The colony, but it is easy to forget that China’s goods and labor can enter the African market amicably, rather than following the historical colonial model – that is, the Chinese government’s warships drove to the African coast, forcing African governments to accept the trade.

In fact, it is possible for Chinese goods and companies to enter Africa because a series of actions by the WTO over the past two decades have reduced trade tariffs and opened up the African market. Therefore, what makes people laugh is that instead of China pursuing colonialism, the WTO has set up a competitive market for Africa, which has become an attractive opportunity for China.

During his visit to the African Union in 2014, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang announced that China expects annual bilateral trade with Africa to reach 400 billion U.S. dollars by 2020, and China’s stock of direct investment in Africa will increase to 100 billion U.S. dollars. China's investment will be mainly in the field of infrastructure construction and through various lending institutions in China, including the newly established BRICS Bank. This kind of investment from China continues to create opportunities in various industries.

For example, in African price-sensitive markets, telecommunications infrastructure has become very dependent on Chinese technology. Compared with the technology of Western competitors, Chinese technology is competitive in price, durable, and has strong after-sales service. Similarly, Chinese construction companies can overcome difficulties and deliver roads and bridges in a way that Western companies and even local companies cannot match. However, Chinese companies do not always do the right thing.

China's Ministry of Commerce estimates that China's foreign direct investment has a loss of 65%; in contrast, the international standard for this ratio is 50%. Chinese companies have just begun to invest overseas. The Chinese government announced the “going out” national policy in 2000, and most Chinese companies are still in the steep learning curve of learning how to operate in an unfamiliar international environment.

When describing China as the new colonial power of Africa, what the Western media often overlook is the extent to which China needs Africa. As a growing economy, China needs Africa's energy, resources and access to African markets. As a rising power, China needs the political support of African leaders as a bastion against the West.

PoliticsDid Rawlings Request For Political Asylum At The Bulgarian Embassy? by JoelSavage(op): 9:24am On Nov 08, 2018
John Jerry Rawlings doesn’t need an introduction to Ghanaians. All over Africa too, the Air Force lieutenant who took power in his first military coup in 1979, followed his second coup in 1981, have a lot of admirers but not everything about Rawlings is known even in his native Ghana.

When Rawlings was in power, nearly every year of his rule was marked by a coup attempt. In 1985, there was another attempt at a coup against Jerry Rolling, headed by Major Courage Quashigah. Accompanied by some of his guards Rawlings went to the Bulgarian Embassy and asked for political asylum.

His initial plan at the Bulgarian Embassy was to spend some time there while his supporters crushed the coup, therefore, he moved his family to an unknown destination and knowing that they were safe, he went to the embassy.

I saw Rawlings personally when his armour car pulled in the front of our school (Bishop Boys Middle School) at Bubiashie. A handsome tall lanky figure with full of smiles. In turn, all of us close to his tank stretched out our hands to shake him.

I believe in Europe, I get more information about African presidents than journalists at home. Since many Europeans work close with African leaders, export and import offices pertaining to Ghanaian commodities, I have been called many times on the phone and receiving documents over malpractices, over-invoice and corruption in Africa.

I have refused to publish many of the documents pertaining to African leaders because Europe and America cover up crimes they commit in Africa, while they want African journalists, such as Anas Amereyaw Anas, to disgrace African leaders.

As Rawlings story unfolds: Major Quashigah and several other conspirators were sentenced and imprisoned, and later some were found hanged in their cells. According to the diplomatic rules, the embassy is the territory of another state.

When someone requests asylum, the mission officers must either accept or refused the request, that is after asking permission from the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Christianity EtcHow Islam Gain Roots In Ethiopia, The Historical Symbol Of Black Africa by JoelSavage(op): 11:03am On Nov 07, 2018
Ethiopia is one of the oldest countries in the world, preserved until now. It is this state that helped to establish Islam by adopting its territory and providing protection to the first Muslims who resettled there because of the oppression of the pagans of Mecca. How is Islam in Ethiopia today?

His story reflected tensions between the institution of imperial power and various power structures, on the one hand, and between the diversity of ethnic, linguistic and regional identities, on the other. This tension, between the tendencies towards centralization and decentralization, has been and remains the main axis of the history of Ethiopia.

“Thus, briefly reviewing the history of Ethiopian Islam,” Edward Ullendorf, one of the leading and well-known Ethiopians, wrote in 1960, “this is possible because Islam was no more than an element of secondary importance in understanding the essence of Ethiopia”

However, since then science has reached a deeper understanding of the problem, and historians have gained a wider angle of view. He who tries to study the history of Ethiopia only in the aspect of leading Christian culture is content with an incomplete picture.

“Islam and Ethiopia,” should deepen and balance our understanding of the problems of Ethiopian history. Islam and its carriers - Muslims played a full and sometimes even decisive role in the history of Ethiopia. Their share in it is constantly increasing.

Islam in the Middle East, from the beginning of its appearance in the early medieval era to the present day, was for Ethiopia more than a neighbor, a powerful religion and a great empire, constantly challenging it. In the Middle Ages, Muslims turned into Ethiopia into an internal factor, part of the country's life.

Since the beginning of the New Age, the number of Muslims in Ethiopia has steadily increased, and at the beginning of the 20th century, it was equal to the number of Christians.

For many generations, the Muslim communities of Ethiopia did not seek to shake the hegemony of Christianity as the state religion and the basis of the official culture of the country, but they achieved great success in the struggle for their own survival in the Christian environment, for incorporating into important areas of Ethiopian life and made an invaluable contribution to the economic development of the country.

Islam in Ethiopia seems to have reached unprecedented prosperity and perhaps even rises for the first time to a level that allows it to compete with the claim of Christianity to be exceptional as a culture of the Ethiopian elite. The Ethiopian Muslim historian of our time, Professor Hussein Ahmed, responded to the above statement.

In any case, for centuries, the history of Ethiopian Islam revolved around the axis of dialogue between an organized state and the dominant culture and diversity of communities representing Ethiopian minorities. Christianity, beginning with its first steps in antiquity and until the revolution of 1974, consistently realized itself as a religion of the state imperial order, a religion representing a culture based on the ownership of land, agricultural and military spheres.

Christianity EtcHitler’s Religious Views - His Obsession With The Spear That Pierced Jesus’body by JoelSavage(op): 9:01am On Nov 06, 2018
Some scholars argue that the Adolf Hitler was an atheist, satanist, and pagan. It makes sense to a lot of people if Hitler is envisioned representing these terms in a negative way because why should a man have the ambition to eliminate certain race he deemed inferior? However, this article will reveal if Hitler was a pagan or believe in God.

Adolf Hitler's father was an anticlerical, skeptic, and his mother was a Catholic. He was born in the year 1933, in a population that traditionally professed Catholicism. Even though he was baptized at the age of 15, Hitler didn’t allow the Catholic religion to influence him. He did not become an atheist, instead, he continued to call himself a Christian and in many of his speeches, he spoke in support of religion and Christianity in particular.

Still, others argue that religious views of Hiter’s religion fluctuated. He did not attend the mass, and in fact, did not participate in religious rites. Moreover, he was extremely scornful of Christianity. So what god did Hitler really believe in?

A man who wants to conquer the world and kill people whom he thinks don’t deserve to live will carry the head of both good and evil intentions. In one of his speeches, Hitler expressed that Christianity is capable of destroying all that is noble in people.

According to Hitler, it makes a good party if the party doesn’t enter in any relationship with the church and said further that he has never arranged prayers to troops. There are many historical facts which indicate that he was an avid supporter of anti-Christianity.

At the same time, most historians agree that he sought to categorically ban any religion in Germany, setting instead of the cult of worship of ancient pagan gods. The public attitude of Hitler to all religion can be defined as opportunistic pragmatism.

In the open, Hitler never defended the idea of atheism, but at the same time sought to reduce the influence of Christianity on the citizens of Germany as much as possible. Repeatedly, Hitler stated that Nazism is a secular ideology, which is based solely on scientific research, and for which in the future coexistence with any religion is not acceptable.

With all this, the activities of the fascists under the leadership of Adolf Hitler were largely aimed at promoting neo-pagan occult ideas. The confirmation of the expedition for knowledge in Tibet, the creation of a special unit "Ahnenerbe", whose workers studied the occult, attempts to rewrite the Bible in the Nordic direction, the choice of the swastika with Indian roots, etc.

However, it was said that Adolf Hitler, the Nazi leader, became somewhat obsessed with superstitions as a young man, and one of his burning ambitions was to find The Spear of Longinus, also known as The Spear of Destiny. This was the spear which was purportedly used by Gaius Cassius, a Roman Soldier, to pierce the side of Jesus Christ as he hung on the cross at his crucifixion.

There are two famous locations mentioned about where the Holy Spear is available. The Church of Saint Peter in Rome and one currently resides in the Imperial Treasury at the Hofburg Museum in Vienna, Austria. The latter might be true because sources confirm that Hitler visited the museum many times gazing at the spear for hours and wish he had it.

Hitler believes that he will acquire tremendous mystical power if he gets the Spear of Longinus. In April 1938, He took over Austria under the pretense of reclaiming their German heritage, but his real intention was to steal the spear since he asked for it but without his knowledge, he was given a fake one which looks similar.

CareerWhat Are The Benefits For A Common African Worker? by JoelSavage(op): 10:18am On Nov 05, 2018
Every African worker needs better living conditions, healthcare facilities, education, welfare benefits, and good roads. It’s therefore, irrelevant for any African leader to say that Africa is poor, so they can’t provide its citizens' with such amenities or benefits.

Africa is not a poor continent. It is greed, selfishness, and corruption which have made politicians rich, while the common people wallow in abject poverty. In Ghana, politicians and few people serving in the government institutions enjoy benefits, while the common Ghanaian has no access to any benefit, even though the politicians need their votes to occupy the office.

There are differences from country to country based on the government’s benefits to employees. The governments of Europe and America work very hard to give their citizens better medical care, education, welfare benefits and flexible transportation(whether poor or rich), while the story is the opposite in Africa.

In Europe and America, you don’t need to be rich before buying a car or a house. You don’t need to have money before going to the hospital. A laborer, a cleaner, or anyone in a low earning sector can still afford to buy a house, once your loan is granted by the bank. This makes life worth living even if you don’t earn high.

This is never possible in Africa, yet Africa has enough to put a smile on the face of everyone.

No matter how angry I am with Belgium, over crimes they committed in Africa and the building of the statue of King Leopold II, after killing over ten million Africans, I will always praise them for the comfort and welfare benefits they give to both nationals and foreigners.

The O.C.M.W, a public center for social welfare', ensures a number of social services of the well-being of every citizen. Every municipality or city has its own social office that offers a wide range of services. The VDAB, one of the largest job assistance centers throughout Belgium, will assist you to find a job and give you training for a new job if you are not interested in your old work.

Due to poverty, abortions take place daily in Africa and in African countries it’s like being pregnant an abomination. Fear and the cost involved can kill the mother before the child is delivered.

In Belgium, pregnant women are not given only special attention and care but also financial assistance. Whether a national or foreigner, the government deposits over 900 Euros (free) into your account to help you take good care of the baby after delivery.

When the baby arrives, the Belgium government will continue assisting the mother of the child with "Child's Monthly Allowance," until the child completes his education and finds work. The only African country with such care and welfare benefits for its citizens was Libya before the country was destroyed.

The Belgian government cares so much about its citizens to the extent that workers that use the bicycle to work are given allowance every three months in companies. Some employees are entitled to a free or reduced full year ticket to join the bus, train, and the tram. Please, Mr. African president, don’t tell me that Africa is too poor to treat their citizens in this special manner.

What makes Belgium education unique and superior throughout the whole world? For example, this may sound strange but it's the truth. You can't get any job in a big company as a cleaner if you haven't participated in a cleaning course. Millions are cleaners in Africa without certificates because the government or educational institutes think one doesn't need a certificate to be a cleaner.

Christianity EtcDid God Protect Ethiopia From Western Colonial Aggression? by JoelSavage(op): 9:01am On Nov 05, 2018
Even though Ethiopia is not often mentioned in the news like Egypt, Libya, Syria or Iran, the Bible has much to say about the past and future of Ethiopia. The country historically known as Abyssinia was actually never colonized and was one of the few independent states in Africa, which after the World War II, Ethiopia became one of the founding countries of the United Nations.

The name Ethiopia is derived from the compound Greek word, -aithiopia, when divided 'aitho' means "I burn," and 'ops' means "face," therefore, means "the coloured man's land or the land of the scorched-sun faces." As the only traditionally Christian African country, Christianity began to spread as early as the fourth century. The country which is located on the eastern tip of Africa is considered the heir to the great Aksum kingdom.

Ethiopia is considered a unique historical and cultural region on the African continent since it has its own ancient written tradition. This is due to the fact that it was one of the first on our planet to adopt Christianity as the state religion. Its Monophysite church ranks with the oldest pre-Chalcedonian eastern churches, such as the Armenian, Syrian-Jacobite, and Coptic.

Christianity penetrated this country during the reign of King Özana and his successors in the middle of the 4th and early 6th centuries, together with Syrian merchants and missionaries. Until 1959, the Ethiopian church was an integral part of the Coptic Church; its metropolitans were appointed by the Alexandrian patriarchs, sent to this East African country from Egypt.

Since the adoption of Christianity, the question has arisen of translating biblical books into the spoken language of the ruling elite and a significant part of the subjects of the Aksum kingdom — the Geez, or the classical Ethiopian, belonging to the northern branch of the Ethnological and Semitic group of languages.

PoliticsWhy Our Current African Leaders Are Selfish And Wicked by JoelSavage(op): 9:40pm On Nov 03, 2018
Many Africans believe in superstition, therefore, many things which are not going right on the continent of Africa are blamed on certain beliefs. Some of the ignorant Africans believe that Africa is even cursed. That usually makes me laugh sometimes because Africa is the most blessed continent in the world, taking into consideration what we have in agriculture and mine deposits.

Africa is not cursed; whatever is happening on the continent, leading to hardships, frustration, depression, anxiety, and fear is the attribution of man. The so-called leaders inspired by greed and corruption without knowing what is neither wrong nor right are responsible. They think that as long as ‘them belly are full,’ what do I care about the rest? Yet, they pretend they care.

I don’t blame fellow Africans that often write bad comments because there are certain facts one in Africa will never know, including the truth about Aids and Ebola until you are living in Europe. The perception of an African pertaining to problems at home is understandable but not on international issues.

This is the reason every Ghanaian is interested in problems affecting the country than foreign issues destabilizing the economy of our countries. Therefore, how can you convince a Ghanaian that Aids and Ebola were meant to kill us and to take control over of our rich resources? Moreover, how could you convince an African that their leaders are behind the testing of biological weapons such as Ebola, after Aids in the continent?

Europe and America are extremely rich even though many of them struggle in life but not like an African. However, the cheapest commodity is food. Food is so cheap in Europe and America that those addicted to food are suffering from obesity. If food has overflowed in Africa like Europe and America, I believe all Africans will sleep peacefully without criticizing their leaders in power.

Since Africa is still developing, recovering from mental slavery, horrors of Apartheid and at the same time, many are now orphans due to thousands of people dying of Aids daily, the leaders should have run the continent in such a way that bitter stories or history shouldn't repeat itself in the continent for all Africans to be happy after hard work.

Unfortunately, African leaders have betrayed Africans by supporting the same foreign powers destroying the continent since they are offered financial support. How can the continent of Africa be a successful continent if our leaders have to accept and collaborate with the US government to spread Ebola in Africa?

African leaders shouldn’t say they don’t know, therefore, they have nothing to say to the US government. In fact, because of greed and their selfishness, they have joined America to systematically destroy Africa but they should never forget that if given Africa thousands of years to develop we can never be like America, above all, those that cover up crimes are more dangerous than the perpetrators.

This is the reason I see African leaders as wicked people with evil mind and soul. I feel so strong to write this article with faith and confidence because since residing in Europe and based on documents scientist Johan Van Dongen and Dr. Wolff Geilser gave me, I see African leaders as bad people who are causing so much suffering to common Africans in the continent.

HealthHow The Ebola Epidemic In West Africa Cost The Economy 53 Billion Dollars by JoelSavage(op): 3:39pm On Oct 29, 2018
The Ebola epidemic, which devastated West Africa in 2014, cost the economy at about $ 53 billion. This result is from a study published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases.

The authors of the report combined the direct economic burden and indirect social impact, thus calculating the complex costs of the worst epidemic of Ebola in the world.

The incidence of bleeding fever lasted from 2013 to 2016 and killed at least 11,300 people, in what to be known as the most serious epidemic of Ebola in medical history. Most cases occurred in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The study's authors have estimated economic losses of about $ 14 billion and claim that the losses stemming from mortality are much higher. Sums have been estimated by the number of people affected and an amount corresponding to the value of human life.

Experts, however, have calculated an amount from a single study from West Africa that estimates the value of human life in Sierra Leone at $ 577,000.

The overall estimate is so much higher than originally predicted. The World Bank estimated economic losses of $ 2.8 billion in 2016.

A new study, in its calculations, took into account the impact on health professionals, the long-term conditions of around 17,000 people who survived the epidemic and the cost of their treatment, monitoring, and deployment of staff outside of West Africa.

Part of the cost that was previously not included in the total amount stems from the cost of the victims of other illnesses. They make up a total of $ 18.8 billion.

During the Ebola epidemic, 10,623 HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria patients were reported by health workers. Approximately 3.5 million cases of malaria weren't treated and another 2000 to 16,000 deaths was caused by measles.

What threat does the world face and how quickly does a fatal epidemic spread?

The world has diminished, according to recent studies, one can get home from anywhere in the world in 36 hours. It also means that within 36 years any new disease can spread across the world. It describes the world situation of The Conservation.

The Spanish flu broke out in 1918 and it took two years to spread around the world. HIV/AIDS occurred in Africa in the 1960's, however, the epidemic only burst in the 1980's.

SARS spread from Asia to Canada, MERS came from Saudi Arabia to South Korea, and from Africa, along with tourists, humanitarian workers got Ebola.

So far, many epidemics have been prevented by given the increasing resistance of antibiotic. It is only a matter of time when a worldwide epidemic will erupt because most of the epidemic is man-made and as usual, the World Health Organization sound the alarm but has never confirmed in medical history which epidemic is natural and man-made.

HealthWhat Will African Governments Do About The US Dangerous Vaccines Banned By Japan by JoelSavage(op): 9:03am On Oct 07, 2018
On September 5, 2018, an article entitled 'How Japan’s Anti-Vaccination Has Exposed The US Vaccine Pharmaceutical Mafias,' appeared on ModernGhana news site.

ModernGhana reference: How Japan'sAnti-Vaccination Has Exposed The US ... - Modern Ghana

The article was about the discovery of dangerous vaccines from the United States of America by the Japanese government, resulting in the ban of those vaccines.

Recently, the Japanese government suspended vaccination against HPV, the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). HPV is a different virus than HIV and HSV (herpes). HPV is so common that nearly all sexually-active men and women get it at some point in their lives.

The Japanese government suspended because of Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in response to public anxieties about a suspected adverse event following immunization.

Now the Japanese government is not carrying out suspension but banning some of the vaccines from the United States of America they consider extremely dangerous. For example, the Human papillomavirus vaccine has no effect on cervical cancer. That is one of the greatest crime and fraud in the medical history.

Foreign AffairsWhy Castro And Nkrumah Rejected Democracy by JoelSavage(op): 6:43pm On Oct 06, 2018
African leaders like Kwame Nkrumah, Jomo Kenyatta, Julius Nyerere, Kenneth Kaunda, to mention but a few weren’t only intelligent but also had vision over how the state of Africa would be if the US government America forces that type of lunatic Democracy on Africa.

As a matter of fact, this is one of the reasons even though Nkrumah studied in America; he had no interest in democracy than communism. Instead of Nkruman seeking help from America to build his country, Ghana, Nkrumah collaborated with communist leaders in Russia, China, and Cuba.

Like Nkrumah, Fidel Castro also wasn’t interested in democracy but the US government doesn’t leave leaders who aren’t interested in democracy alone. The CIA will work hard to eliminate you. Both Kwame Nkrumah and Fidel Castro survived several assassination attempts.

No matter how hard African leaders will try, the continent will never move forward because that’s part of a hidden definition of America’s democracy, to set military base throughout Africa and manipulate African leaders’ efforts. Why the US government didn't call rich Libya under Qadaffi to build a military base in America?

After the manipulation of African leaders' efforts and the destabilization of our economy, African leaders would lay red carpets for the foreign criminals when on a visit. Yet Africans are always insulting their leaders without commenting on the criminal activities of the US government in Africa. However, African leaders deserve it.

African leaders can’t speak against Aids and Ebola, well-known African pastors also can’t speak against the crime the US government commit in Africa because the US embassies will deny them a visa to enter into the US, thus; America has been successful with its clandestine crimes in Africa.

Foreign AffairsCoward Donald Trump Can’t Go To Africa He Sends His Wife Melanie by JoelSavage(op): 6:47am On Oct 03, 2018
Melanie and Donald Trump, he is too scared to enter Africa because the US government is responsible for Ebola

On April 15, 2018, we published an article on ModernGhana news site captioned “Why Donald Trump Is A True Born Racist. In the article, we did mention that “The corruption of African leaders well defined because many world leaders aren't satisfied with the progress of Africa because it's a continent which never benefits from its natural resources due to massive corruption and embezzlement but developments are slowly advancing.

Again we did also mention that “Now that Africa knows that Aids and Ebola are the works of the US government that alone frightens Trump.”

The American leaders and its Western allies responsible for the global Aids genocide can remain silent as always but it is no more a secret. Africa now knows that Aids and Ebola are medical crimes engineered from the US government's laboratory for diseases, after covering the medical genocide (Aids) for decades.

Shortly, after publishing this article on ModernGhana news, an American journalist discovered the publication and the article was published in America, under the title “AFRICAN JOURNALIST SUGGESTS TRUMP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AIDS AND EBOLA.”

Reference: https://downtrend.com/71superb/african-journalist-suggests-trump-is-responsible-for-aids-and-ebola/

Since the article duly appeared in the US media, we know perfectly well that’s enough to stop Donald Trump to travel to Africa, especially knowing how weak Africa’s security systems are even if the CIA or the FBI will secure his safety in Africa and above all he knew the US government is responsible for Aids and Ebola in Africa.

It took only one day to meet with Scientist Johan Van Dongen in Holland to release documents pertaining all medical crimes, including Ebola, the US government committed in Africa to support the government’s global depopulation agenda.

Again it took me only a day to see Dr. Wolff Geisler in Germany, also to produce similar documents Johan Van Dongen gave me about the US government’s clandestine medical crimes in Africa, including Ebola.

Thus, all along, I am aware that coward Trump will never step Africa until his death. I am not surprised to read that “US First Lady Melania Trump announced that she would visit Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt, on her first major international solo trip to promote child welfare and education.

Why Melanie Trump, instead of Donald Trump, because he is scared to death. However, like always, African leaders are ready to receive Melanie Trump’s hypocrisy visit to Africa.

How can the US government kill African children with Aids and Ebola, while Melanie convinces the world that she is on international major tour to promote child welfare education?

Intelligent readers watch carefully, the countries Melanie wants to visit are there any of the countries Ebola occurred? Not at all because not only she feels guilty but also scared.

Donald Trump, our message (Johan Van Dongen, Joel Savage, and Wolff Geisler) to you is: The evil man will always run when nobody is after him. Read more articles to educate yourselves about the true facts of man-made biological weapon diseases: https://secretsofaidsandebola..com/

HealthMouthAction Causes Head, Throat And Neck Cancer by JoelSavage(op): 5:15pm On Oct 01, 2018
The latest national estimates of this disparity, published in October, from Deshmukh and his University of Florida colleagues, reveals that oral HPV infection rates are skewed by gender, just like the resulting cancers.

Now Dr. Bhavin Visavdia, consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon, at the Watford Road hospital, said the human papillomavirus (HPV) can be found in the female cervix.

According to him, this has brought about changes in legislation that will see men receive a jab to protect them against the cancer-causing virus.

Dr. Visavdia reports of the rise in the number of patients with head and neck cancer as part of Make Sense, a national awareness week.

He said: “There has been a noticeable increase in recent years and oropharyngeal cancer can be triggered by contracting HPV which is a common cause of cervical cancer in women.

“MouthAction is the obvious candidate for transmission to men as the virus is found in the female cervix.”

Dr. Visavadia said the condition, which has been associated with older men who are heavy drinkers and smokers, is increasingly affecting younger men in their 40’s and 50’s.

He added: “Women are routinely immunized against HPV for cervical cancer but recent legislative changes will now see men receive a jab as well to prevent HPV related head and neck cancer.”

Research in Annals of Oncology showed 15 percent of men who smoked and had five or more MouthAction partners were most likely to get HPV but smokers with few partners are also vulnerable to infection.

The lowest risk group is non-smokers who had one or no MouthAction partners in their lifetimes, with only 1.5pc of them getting an oral HPV infection.

CareerWhy Beauty Contests Need To Be Abolished by JoelSavage(op): 11:30am On Sep 30, 2018
The concept of life is a reality, thus, a woman’s creation is a symbol of crown, dignity, honour, and beauty. Women are therefore special. I believe the same way every woman see herself or feels.

Worldwide, every year, young women are paraded on the podium to search for the most beautiful woman in the world. The question: “Is holding of yearly beauty contest necessary?” What is beauty? Is it the mind, from the heart or the face?

There are so many women physically disfigured, through some sort of illness or naturally born with deformity or handicap, that may feel somehow psychologically depressed or rejected in the society when they watch things like “Beauty Contests.” Besides ‘Beauty Contests’ lowers the confidence and self-esteem of many women facing obstacles in life.

The birth of modern technology and scientists have provided comfort for human beings, in different fields, including medical. Apart from incubators and other equipment that save lives, no doctor or scientist has been able to put breath in a dead man’s nostrils to bring him back to life.

Therefore, why should a panel of judges sit down to classify one as beautiful and the other ugly? However a woman looks like, she needs respect and acceptance in the society.

CultureDid Illiteracy Give Birth To Superstition In Africa? by JoelSavage(op): 7:25am On Sep 28, 2018
Apart from corruption and illiteracy which have affected Africa’s development, superstition has also played a significant role in retarding Africa's growth. Did illiteracy give birth to superstition? Why Africa is still influenced by superstition when these ancient beliefs aren’t helping us in any way?

What is superstition? There are thousands of definitions of superstition but I like this one: “A belief, not based on human reason or scientific knowledge, that future events may be influenced by one's behavior in some magical or mystical way.”

For ages, Africa has been dominated by superstition which in my opinion has affected us more than doing us good since a close observation of superstitious activities or pure thinking evolves on illiteracy. Imagine in Madagascar, twins were considered bad luck; therefore, one has to be abandoned in the forest.

Imagine in Ghana, a certain ethnic group in Accra, wouldn’t mention the name of a snake in the night, therefore, “Ground thread,” is used. On Tuesday, fishermen don’t go to sea because of disastrous events they think would follow. While in Europe and America, fishing vessels don’t care about Tuesday, probably, the reason they have so much fish.

In Ghana, it is a disrespect to greet with the left hand, yet Europeans and Americans don’t have that mentality. Again in Ghana, many believe that seeing a black cat in the morning signifies a warning of an impending doom or a catastrophe, yet in Europe and America, many people have black cats as pets, yet they see them every day and they progress every day.

During the Homowo festival, the playing of music is forbidden in coastal areas because the deity mermaid demands peace? Let’s begin to ask ourselves; years after enslavement to these superstitions, what benefits have we gain?

How superstition affects the free distribution of bags in Ghana

About two years ago, a couple in Antwerp that always think about the welfare of Africans, delivered four boxes of school bags to be distributed to Ghanaian school children. The freight and duty for the one-thousand bags cost me a lot of money but it’s satisfying if you are doing something good for other people.

A week after my sister took delivery of the consignment, I received a message from her that no one wants the school bags. Why I did ask? According to my sister, the bags have a symbol of a snake on them, thus; because of the specific symbol, no one is interested. This is a serious case which should have made me sad, instead, I burst out laughing.

TravelSurprise And Confusing London: How To Find Your Way by JoelSavage(op): 1:32pm On Sep 27, 2018
London might be small as a mustard seed on the map but when exploring the city one quickly realizes that it more complicated and sometimes worrisome to explore, especially if you don’t know how to use the underground tubes, and don't know the right train or bus to your destination.

London, probably the most famous city in the world, is the capital of the United Kingdom. It is situated in the southeastern of England, extending across the River Thames, about 80 km upstream from its estuary on the North Sea.

A cosmopolitan city with the most ethnically diverse nationals, London is not only expensive but one of the busiest cities in the world and often crowded. Again with many iconic places to visit, including museums, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc, the city is always full of tourists from all over the world.

Every bus in London has a number indicating the route it's plying, for example, bus 38 -Victoria, 157 - Crystal Palace, Trafalgar Square - 15 etc. As you ride on these buses, every bus stop is mentioned to alert the traveller. Also, the name of each bus stop appears on the route- monitoring screen, therefore, you'll never get lost.

London has one of the largest urban transport networks in the world with taxes, the double-decker buses, underground trains etc. There are places in which you can join the bus but the underground tube is always fast.

From the Victoria Station, if you want to go to 'Modern Borough,' how do you connect it? You'll join the underground tube heading to Brixton. At station Stockwell, you'll change your transport and join Modern Line. This is accompanied by announcements, as the name of each station is mentioned to remind the traveller where he or she is going.

PoliticsWhy I Am Not Afraid To Die by JoelSavage(op): 5:12pm On Sep 16, 2018
The destroying of our environment, the violence erupting daily in our society, the domestic violence robbing the peace of people, the constant rape of women around the world, the killing of innocent people with biological processed diseases etc, aren't issues of concern to many people, because they don't care.

A victim of terrorist attack, tsunami, violence, Aids, Ebola, Zika virus etc, has a story to tell you more than one who hasn't experienced anything. I am an African, from a continent that has suffered all kinds of aggression, persecution, invasion, looting, diseases, depopulation and biological terrorism, in the hands of Europe and America. How do you expect me to react?

Whatever happens to an African, isn't an issue of concern to many Europeans and Americans. Aids, Ebola, Lassa fever, Zika virus etc, were laboratory manufactured or man-made diseases by Europe and America and inflicted on Africans and Latin-Americans as bio-weapons.

The media has covered up the crime in favour of those responsible for the medical crimes, yet their voices are heard anytime terrorism hits Europe or America.

Genetically modified mosquitoes spread Zika virus, yet the media and the American government want people to understand it's just a normal disease. What kind of a normal mosquito that when it bites, your head shrinks? Why is America causing suffering to others?

Why can't they test the disease they invent on their own people, but they choose the poor and the underprivileged? Is that the true meaning of super-power or democracy? What kind of God America claims in him they trust?

No one cares about Africa, but I do, because that's where I was born. If the leaders are corrupt and can't do anything about the using of Africans as Guinea pigs for drugs testing, I will speak out, because I'm not afraid to die.

Black people that fear to die, should read books about Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King Jr, to read and learn something about them.

Foreign AffairsWhy Many Ghanaians Overseas Aren't Interested In Ghana's Development? by JoelSavage(op): 10:10am On Sep 15, 2018
Over the last forty-five years, the number of people migrating from their countries to live overseas has increased from an estimated 75 million in 1960 to 231 million in 2013, and of this, 18.6 million are from Africa, according to the United Nations.

The serious Africans in the Diaspora play a significant role in the economic development of their countries where they originate. Apart from the money they remit, those overseas are capable of promoting trade, create business and transfer new knowledge and skills.

Since the Ghanaian government depends on the strength of its citizens abroad towards the development of the country, certainly, it should have been the priority for the government to remove obstacles and create opportunities for Diasporas to engage in economic development.

Unfortunately, the Ghanaian government is deeply corrupt that its impact has affected both developments at home and Ghanaians in the Diaspora running a business in the country, putting a halt to new investors that want to set up businesses in Africa.

The lack of knowledge of the Ghanaian government to create effective taxation system and chronic corruption have seriously affected Ghana and the present government in power thinks raising the prices of commodities will help the economy but that has rather depreciate the Ghanaian currency.

Imports and exports businesses are on the brink of collapse because of high duties at the Ghana Ports Authority. This has already changed the mind of many Ghanaians in the Diaspora to thinks less about development in the country or setting up any business.

Foreign AffairsHow Kofi Annan Forgets About His Roots by JoelSavage(op): 10:33pm On Sep 13, 2018
“This article was written on Saturday 26, 2016, under “Has Kofi Annan Forgotten About His Root?” That was when I disagree with the former leader of the United Nations, however, I will always respect our leaders because the roles they play in office are very difficult, yet sometimes we overlooked them. I will take the opportunity to send my condolence to his family. May he rest in peace.”

Is it true that sometimes it's not good for an African to live in a white man's country for too long? Because it's shocking that the ex-UN secretary-general, doesn't consider himself an African any longer and therefore rejects charges of court bias against the continent of Africa.

Kofi Annan, former UN secretary-general, has strongly defended the International Criminal Court, arguing that if Africans and others cannot get justice in their domestic courts they should seek it abroad. The question is: How can Africans depend on ICC if they are also a bunch of criminals in robes?

If Kofi Annan is intelligent enough to be United Nations Secretary-General, then he should know that Belgium was responsible for the Rwandan genocide, resulting in the death of thousands of Rwandans, including poor innocent children but not a single Belgian was jailed for that crime against humanity, instead they jailed two Rwandan nuns who just became scapegoats.

Mr. Kofi Annan, are you pleased that Charles Taylor of Liberia and Hissene Habré of Chad are serving prison sentences for committing crimes against humanity in their respective countries, according to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, but George Bush and Tony Blair are now free after committing the same crime in Iraq?

Mr. Kofi Annan, In fact, instead of defending the corrupt ICC, the poor Africans will be delighted if you could bring those responsible for the Aids and Ebola crime in Africa to face similar justice in The Hague because those medical genocides had killed and continued killing Africans each and every day.

Christianity EtcThe Mystery Surrounding Creation And Life After Death by JoelSavage(op): 10:02am On Sep 09, 2018
Who are we and where did we come from? With different kinds of people, languages, customs, cultures etc, many questions about creation remain unanswered.

What about death? That is more complicated than creation because many have different theories and opinions about death. Some say that the soul goes back to God after death while others believe in reincarnation, that is the soul, upon the death of the body, comes back to earth in another body or form.

However, the Bible says: "For the living know they will die but the dead do not know anything nor have they any longer a reward, for their memory is forgotten. Indeed, their love, their hate, and their zeal have already perished, and they will no longer have a share in all that is done under the sun..."

The book of Genesis says: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Initially, that was what we were thought of at school. Years after this Biblical account, the man now faces the most difficult challenge in believing this Biblical account about creation.

Worldwide, hundreds of people, including so-called creationists, anti-Christ forces, and fundamentalists, continue to change the Bible's account of creation into numerous tales that deviate from what the Bible really says.

The belief that there is no God and Darwin's theory which rejects the account of creation in Genesis, has caused many people to dismiss the Bible account as mythical allegory. It's not surprising to see big churches throughout Europe virtually empty on Sundays, reserved only for the dead to receive his or her last respect before burial.

It's clear that a number of people have accepted Darwin's theory that the Biblical account as many churches are being converted to drinking pubs, restaurants, and library. Even though many still are confused over where man originally came from, some continue to play God by taking someone's life by euthanasia, when he can't bring the dead back to life.

Since God has given the man the opportunity to choose, thus; let those that lean on Darwin's theory continue to do so and others that believe in the Genesis creation account also continue supporting the Scriptures. But one question which many find it hard to answer is: Where do we go after death?

Different religions have different opinions about death, yet another part of the Bible reveals: "For whoever is joined with all the living, there is hope; surely a live dog is better than a dead lion."

Both creations of the human being and death will always remain a mystery because it's something that takes us by surprise. One may cheat death, yet death is inevitable. When it strikes, like the fall of both fresh and dry leaves, it takes away the young and the old.

Doctors struggle to save lives and incubators save babies, but why no one has brought a dead man back to life? Is it true that there is life after death? Where does the soul go after death? Is there reincarnation after death? Are we going to see our loved ones already dead when we also die?

Even though I have no answers to those questions, I can't depend on Darwin's theory, because it has no roots. Since the Scripture says: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." I will depend on and believe in the account of creation in the book of Genesis.

Christianity EtcThe Ghanaian Government Wants To Build A Cathedral - Is It Necessary? by JoelSavage(op): 9:22pm On Sep 04, 2018
Successive Ghanaian governments are often criticized, accompanied by insults and the criticism has been particularly acute in relation to poor performance and rampant corruption. If the media is not behind you, definitely, you’ll lose favour. This is exactly what happened to the former Ghanaian leader, John Mahama, losing his second-term presidential race to political rival NPP.

It is obvious that Nana Akufo Addo doesn’t want to experience a similar fate, and therefore, would like to impress Ghanaians, starting with developmental projects. However, it worth to ask Nana Akufo Addo the significance of constructing of a 5000-seater national cathedral in Accra when hospitals have no beds, thousands of Ghanaians are unemployed

Is it true of what the white man says? According to white people, Africans are lazy and, therefore, always expecting miracles from heaven. We can’t ignore such degrading utterances because we have proved it to be true. Because it doesn’t really make sense for a government just to make an announcement that they want to build a 5000-seater Cathedral when the cost can be used to create employment.

Just imagine Ghana's poor sanitation, open sewage, and stinky gutters. Akufo Addo has ignored all of those problems generating malaria in the country and planning to build a Cathedral? May God give African leaders some wisdom to rule the suffering masses without building a Cathedral.

Nana now dreams big and wants to impress Ghanaians by imitating the late Ivorian president Félix Houphouët-Boigny. Houphouet-Boigny was ruling an impoverished country in dire financial straits, then like Nana Akufo Addo, one day he decides that it would be a good idea to build a second Vatican dome in his poverty-stricken hometown of Yamoussoukro.

In the mist of high rate of unemployment, illiteracy and excessive corruption, similar to the present situation in Ghana, an almost exact replica of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, completed in 1989, measuring 30,000 square was constructed and named ‘Basilique Notre-Dame de la Paix de Yamoussoukro. The whole project cost the government 300 million dollars.

After the 30 acres of marble was delivered by an Italy firm and the glass also brought in from France, Houphouet-Boigny was asked how he is going to finance the church since his government was in financial straits, he replied “a deal with God has been done and all the 7000 seats are also individually air-conditioned.”
