FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY APPLICANTS INTO GHANAIAN UNIVERSITIES
Question: When will the form be out and when will it be closing for Government Universities?
Answer: Forms into University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah university of Science and Technology, Kumasi and University of capecoast are usually out between January and February and Closes by March/April Ending. List of Admitted students starts coming by June. Resumption is August.
Question: When will the form be out and when will it be closing for Private Universities?
Answer: private Universities admit twice a year; January/February and August/September. Some private universities also admit in December.
Question: Where can one purchase d form in Nigeria? Can i apply through your organisation , i schooled in Nigeria and i am resident in Nigeria?
Answer: Candidates can pay naira equivalent into our Nigeria account and we send the pin number for online registration(where the form is onlne) or we forward the form into students e-mail. Candidates will pay for form and our processing fees. We can also send through our courier partner Crosscountry transport, yaba, Lagos or through our Liason office..
Question: How do i obtain form into University of Ghana, Legon
Answer: You pay into UG account in any Ecobank branch near you and a pin number for online registration will be generated.
Question: I am a Ghanaian, i will be writing Waec this year in Nigeria can i apply?
Answer. You are qualified to apply only if you have your Ghanaian birth certificate and your result ready. You can apply with awaiting result to private universities and not Govt universities. If u are applying for Science programme u will need Credit in Integrated Science or additional credit apart from Maths, English, Physics/chemistry/Biology.
Question: What is the Tuition fee into federal Universities in Ghana for Nigerian students?
Answer: Tuition ranges between $4,000/session or Arts and business courses to $14,000/session for Engineering and medicine.
Question: How much is accommodation in Federal Universities and Private universities?
Answer? Average of S1,500/session for federal universities and $500/session for Private Universities.
Question: Can i use WAEC/NECO/NABTEB RESULT?
Answer: Over the years Ghanaian Universities have shied away from NABTEB & NECO. However, where there is a deficiency of one subject, NECO can be accepted to supplement the one subject.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Six (6) credit passes including core English, Mathematics and either Integrated Science or Social Studies and three (3) Electives in relevant subjects. Applicants should have an aggregate score of 6 – 24 in the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations or The November/December General Certificate Examinations.
