Chai! That 3–2 AFCON thriller between Nigeria and Tunisia was pure entertainment mixed with heart-attack moments! Nigeria eventually held on for the win, but it was no small thing at all.

Our defense is just somehow, mehn. Scoring is fun and joy until you start conceding them. Did we play extremely well? Yes. I’ll give the Super Eagles that — but our defense really needs saving.

I honestly don’t know what’s up with Stanley Nwabali. What annoys me the most is how he starts shouting and forming serious on the pitch after making mistakes. Who exactly are you warning? Anyway,

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026 — a full month of Christmas and New Year football drama.

Everyone’s hyped. Hyped to watch us redeem ourselves or give a World Cup part two embarrassment? Maybe. Me, I’m keeping my expectations close to my chest this time.

Group C, yeah? Fair enough. Strongest team there seems to be Tunisia — but again, this is the Super Eagles. You’d think we’d qualify with ease, maybe even top the group comfortably. With the super eagles though? My cards are all open man - anything can happen.

What I really want to emphasize is this: if our foreign players aren’t ready to wear the green and white with full pride and passion, they should not answer the national call. We don’t need anyone playing like they’re doing us a favor. If that’s the energy, let’s call up our Aba and Port Harcourt boys instead.

At least if they underperform, we’ll understand. It’s better than watching players on “star level” abroad come home and play like they forgot how to kick a ball.

The Dream As One, Win As You Football Challenge Tour kicked off in grand style on October 11, 2025, at Monaliza Sport Centre, Garki, where Jeremiah Waziri’s dream came true. He arrived unsure of what to expect but left with ₦500,000 and an all-expense-paid trip to Lagos, where he’ll compete for the ₦1,000,000 grand prize.

Round Two took us to Port Harcourt City on November 8, and the energy was unmatched! Passion filled the air, the competition was fierce, and the games were hard-fought. In the end, Obasi Harrison rose above the rest to become the City Champion, earning his spot in the Lagos finals.
