I'm a 2014 winner and I need advice, I have read this thread from the first page to about halfway so please forgive me if this question has been answered before. I just picked up my Waec certificate and there are 2 errors. Wrong year of birth and my surname was wrongly abbreviated. I went back to Waec to have then fix it but they said they can't help with that. Someone adviced me to get an affidavit to swear an affidavit, will that work? Thanks in anticipation

@Trezeget, it all depends on when you will be going for your interview. However, your passport must not be less than six months valid at the time of your interview else they may advise you to obtain another one and this of course could cause unnecessary delays.

@Nero, you are good to go but please don't leave your appointment letter & Bar-Code sheet behind as you have not listed them above. Also make sure that your name and date of birth tallies in all your documents. If there is discrepancy any where, don't fail to swear an affidavit. Good luck.
