I know you can't control what people do in their bedrooms.

What I meant is the LGBTQ rights and gender change which are all still Legal in Russia.

LGBTQ rights is Legal in Russia but Ilegal in Nigeria.

Man & Man or Woman & Woman cannot get married in Russia. It is illegal; Null & Void and unrecognized as not Valid union. Banned outrightly since 2020. Same sex marriage/ unions are not legal & are not recognized. So the question of Adoption of children for Gay Couples does not even come up since Gay marriages are declared invalid & illegal . Only union between a Daddy & a mummy are considered legal marital union recognized by the law of the land. you cannot see man & man or Woman & Woman holding hands & kissing in public in Russia federation, such as America where same sex unions are recognized & constitutionally legal. Infact public promotion of Gay stuff is not allowed. Internet & mass media inclusive also.


Only Difference between Naija & Russia is Man & Man; Woman & Woman can lock Door in Moscow; St. Petersburg , Sochi and everywhere in Russia (except a place in Russia called Chechnya) & Bang privately in their Bedroom even if Neighbor catch them; such Sex Sexual activity is not prohibited under the Law.

But In Nigeria Same sex marriage is illegal & in Addition to that ; Man & Man or Woman & Woman. Cannot lock Door to Bang privately. If Neighbor catches them; they can be prosecuted under the Country’s law & serve more than 15years in prison.

Russia’s is better. Nigeria’s intolerance of Gay sex is highly condemnable. In Northern Naija; people engaging in gay sex can be stoned to death immediately, under sharia law if caught. In southern Nigeria; it’s just to report to police for constitutional prosecution under the law attracting more than 15years in prison.
