The situation at the ports now in loading containers is very pathetic. In a sane country, the FG supposed to mandate a one month waiver for importers to safe rise in cost of goods and commodity in the market.

pick up is not a truck and moreover the said reduction in duty has not reflected on Customs system.thanks

Cleared this car last year for 1.6m

Surface duty paid was about 1m, if I remember correctly.

Car was stopped by Ijebu Ode customs and we were asked to go after their confirmation - we didn’t pay a kobo. Custom rate then was 361/$1

With this new rate of 381/$1, I doubt this 1.62m will fly...
