Controversial Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has recently generated online controversy with a video in which he attended a Christian church service while wearing a religious robe.



Despite being a Muslim, Portable appeared in the viral video wearing a Sutana and participating in a celestial church ceremony.



Portable appeared deeply engaged in prayer during the video, even going so far as to kneel, prostrate, and move around on the floor.



In the caption of the video, which was shared on his verified Instagram page, the singer expressed his desire for God's favor, specifically requesting to be blessed with one billion dollars.

Portable further adeed that prayer is the master key to anything a person wants to achieve. He wrote; “God I No Too Small For 1 Billions 💵 1 Billion Dollars No Too Much For Me ZAZUU Prayer is the Master Key 🔑 God any step I take let your Grace be with me . Amin 🙏🙏🙏🙏.”

A 70 years old Nigerian man identified as Ben Duamlong, has graduated with a first class degree from the University of Jos (UNIJOS).

The former coach of Under 20 Nigerian footballers was reported to be among the 20,532 students that graduated from the university in 2022/2023 set.

He enrolled in the degree programme out of his passion for education after his retirement as a football coach. Duamlong, who studied painting at the University, made the list of 112 students who bagged first class.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello has revealed why she walked out of her 25-year marriage.

The thespian, in a chat with media personality Chude Jideonwo, said she ended her marriage because it was a long-distance union, as her estranged husband, Mr Akinrimisi, was based in the United States.

According to Shaffy, the long distance didn’t help her marriage, so she opted for a divorce.



She said; “He [my ex-husband] was a good father to his children. But I reached a point where I wanted more. I would always travel back and forth, but I realized that if I really wanted this, it came with sacrifices. It wasn’t sacrificing the marriage itself, but rather, him being there [in the USA] and the distance didn’t help.”

She stated that coping with the situation became difficult for her, which ultimately led to her decision to get a divorce.

A while ago, Shaffy Bello revealed that she does not wish to marry since she feels there are enough women in the world.

Sharing her thoughts with fellow actress, Mercy Johnson on an episode of ‘Mercy’s Menu,’ Shaffy indicated that she prefers companionship and would like to settle down with a partner but not in the traditional marriage setting.

She said;

“I am a one man kind of woman and I believe there is a lot of women here to fill a home. That is why when I meet people or go on a date, they are women. I want to settle with someone at the end of the day, I don’t want to be 55 and then go out or have a birthday party and then come home and be all alone, I don’t want that. I want to be with someone, maybe not marriage, but a companion.”

Record breaker Hilda Baci has once again got many people talking online following her recent video with Instagram influencer Enioluwa.

In the recent video, Chef Hilda Baci and Enioluwa were seen showcasing seven (7) Akwa-Ibom food present on their table one of which Dog meat was present.

In the video, Enioluwa who is well known to be a food enthusiast shows huge resistance toward eating a dog meat for the first time until Chef Hilda forces it on him.


Recall that Hilda Baci becomes one of the trending conversations online after she breaks Guinness World record and set a new one by completing 100 hours of non-stop cooking by a single individual.

However, the new video of Hilda Baci eating a cooked dog stirred controversies as it did not sit well with some critics.

According to some internet users in some other parts of the world it is cruel to kill animals such as dogs unnecessarily talkless of eating them.

Some social media users however supported her as they noted that eating dogs is a normal thing in Akwa-Ibom where Hilda Baci hails from and she doesn’t need to be ashamed about it.

A Twitter user identified as @UncleCCA tweeted; “Hilda Baci need to be very carefully. The dog meat video is a bad taste for her brand internationally. There things she needs to avoid. Dog is not seen as animals to kill and eat. It is a very sensitive video and it’s in her best interest to take it down.”

“I am grateful for this recognition and honour” – Davido says after being conferred OON by the FG (Video)

Superstar Afrobeats singer David Adeleke better known as Davido has taken to social media where he expresses how grateful he is for his recent recognition by the Federal Government (FG).

Davido, the DMW boss joined the league of Nigerians with national honours as the Federal Government of Nigeria conferred with OON (Officer of the Order of Nigeria).

Recall Intel Region reported that Davido alongside Victor Osimhen, and Kunle Afolayan among others were listed for the National award honours.


After receiving his medal and certificate today by the ministry of special duties and inter-governmental affairs, Davido took to his verified Instagram page today, May 31st, 2023 to thank the Federal Government (FG) and fans.

He wrote; “Honored to hear the news that I have been conferred with an OON (Officer of the Order of Nigeria) by The Federal Government of Nigeria. I am grateful for this recognition and honour. It has always been my mission to use my platform to showcase our country – the passion, the resilience, the joy the culture and of course the struggles of our people.
