I don't know about the Chinese but I'm 100% certain about the locals doing that on a large scale in fact, the soldiers stationed just before Talata Mafara will stop you and asked if you're heading towards Mayanchi and if you answer in the affirmative you know what to expect....

I pass through the same route three days ago and we even had a stop over at Maradun before proceeding. What I noticed is aside from the illegal gold mining that have dotted the nooks and crannies of Mayanchi, and maybe a semblance of life in Gusau running down to Funtua in Katsina there's practically nothing to write home about Zamfara state...

During the mandatory NYSC year, I was posted to a boarding house up north with no pay and someone like me who was coming from Makoko I had to think faster and find way of making extra bucks, I was friendly in the local assembly where I worship and the clergyman kind of liked me this makes the creating awareness for extra lesson easy for me.

As time goes on, I had two other PPAs where I hustle as a part time teacher and not as a full time classroom teacher, the pay wasn't something to write home about but at least it keep my body and soul together and that was my first and last experience as a school teacher.

Life goes on now.

Did they also include the part where the mad man earn 35k or is it not necessary?

The government of that state have sink lower than a country bent on discovering hydrocarbons by all means.

One of the less economic viable state in the country at the moment.

This thread is an eye opener to say the least, from the comments you can glean a thing or two from Nigerian private sector and most importantly the welfare of staff working in private universities.

Some banks outsourced staff are even paid higher than this and most of this banks employ ND holders for such cadre of staff, it's saddening to say the least.

Many of you just talk like dvndees. Are CCTVs connected to police station? It captures events for later review anywhere in the world.

There should a provision in place in which a personnel is fully seated and saddled with real time monitoring and update and once anything suspicious is noticed, alarm is raised immediately or the right team are contacted.

I guess this are metrics for good governance while insecurity dance around most nooks and crannies of the country but the broomies are more worried and concerned about the number of states they have under them, it's a shame that the life of the common man have been reduced to pawns and the man in charge isn't bothered one bit about the safety and security of the commoners, but would you blame him when the so called commoners will end up defending the government ineptitude as a masterstroke.
