You are naive. Putin is not dumb. He knew Trump's war on Iran was targeted against him and waited it out for the west to burn out their interceptors and expose their hypocrisy at the violation of international law by Trump who decapitated the leadership of a country that is not at war with it.
Now, Putin will do exactly what Trump did and heaven will not fall. Putin will blow up strategic military assets in nations not at war with it.
The west always think others are stupid not knowing that they are the butt of jokes. The western population is the least resilient and likely to sack their leaders by the time Putin descends on them. Putin that can't conquer small island in ukraine |

Kushites: US blockade of Iran ports ''irresponsible and dangerous'', China says
China has called the US naval blockade of Iranian ports "irresponsible and dangerous".
Beijing's foreign ministry said the move would "undermine the already fragile ceasefire agreement" and further jeopardise the safety of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway Iran effectively closed in response to US-Israeli strikes.
Iran's ambassador to the UN has described the US blockade as a "grave violation" of Tehran's sovereignty.
Up until now, Chinese vessels have been among the few managing to make their way through the strait. It is not clear whether they had to pay a toll to Iran in order to do so.
The US blockade could potentially cut off China's supply and have far-reaching consequences for its economy.
"China believes that only by achieving a comprehensive ceasefire and ending the war can we fundamentally create conditions for easing the situation in the strait," China's foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said.
"China urges all parties to abide by the ceasefire arrangements, focus on the general direction of dialogue and peace talks, take practical actions to promote the easing of the regional situation, and restore normal traffic in the strait as soon as possible."..... Trump has threatened to impose a 50% tariff on China's goods if military assistance was provided to Tehran.
"If the US insists on using this as an excuse to impose additional tariffs on China, China will definitely take resolute countermeasures," Guo said.

Foreign Affairs › Re: The US Has Finally Resorted To State Backed Piracy On The High Seas by Jokay07(m): 6:05pm On Apr 14 |
DomPerignon: I made this prediction here several years back that the US and UK will transform their navies and military from being protectors of international shipping to full fledged piracy operations in the near future.
That future is here with Trump's blockade of Venezuela and Cuba and now with the entrance to the Straits of Hormuz.
Trump, who has been calling for Iran to lift its own blockade of the straits is now the one enforcing the blockade.
Now why is this? Because Iran has deftly made it clear that only vessels that pay in Yuan and crypto will be allowed through the straits and that any and all vessels must also pay a toll tax of $2mill.
Trump is mad because Iran is actually dismantling the Petro Dollar with this move and forcing GCC countries to ditch sale of their oil and gas from the USD for Chinese Yuan.
What we are witnessing is total chaos in Trump's beleaguered WH as they try to counter Iran's every move in destroying the US global hegemon.
The Chinese on the other hand were very aware of this scenario and that is why their Silk Road initiative rested on land routes and not the soon to be lawless high seas which the British and Americans will be the major international bandits all because they are seeing their undeserved middle man role snatched away from them.
The Silk Road is designed to counter current American and British lawlessness and that's why it is passing through land routes . The Chinese are building roads, bridges and rail lines to provide a more efficient transport system. I also envisage the Chinese building more gas and oil pipelines connecting Iran to China via Pakistan, Nepal and Tibet into China.
As Trumpism takes hold of US trade policy going forward, the US will be forced to retreat to the Western Hemisphere because I don't see how the US actively participating in brigandry and piracy on the High seas will endear them to the global south who will rightly see the US as a meddlesome interloper.
The US will shrink in its influence and power and will limit itself to the western hemisphere but for how long can the US which has been spoilt rotten to parasitize on the entire planet since WW2 ended settle for just the Americas? The exploitation by the Jewish banksters will be doubled to make for losing the global market and that is when the people of the Americas will rise up to chase the American capitalists and their cronies from their land. Story for the gods. When Iran blocked the international water ways, nobody called them Pirate, when Iran started collecting toll gate fees on high ocean, nobody called them pirate. Now it's Donald Trump's turn, una come dey type sermon |

Iran posed no threat.
Iran never blocked the Strait until they were provoked into a war.
They have been very civil in their actions.
If it wasn't for the hate you harbour for Iran, perhaps because they are Muslims, you would have known this.
Thankfully, Europe has some people who are civil.

Nuclear weapons are meant to be a deterrent. Unprovoked use of it ensures a nuclear retaliation.
AND DO SHUT UP, BECAUSE IRAN HAS SEVERAL DEEP UNDERGROUND CITIES UNREACHABLE BY THE US OR ISRAEL.
THEY HAVE BUILT A LOT OF THINGS UNBEKNOWNST TO THE WORLD, DEEP UNDERGROUND, AND CAN BUILD MORE.. Nuclear weapons is beyond the rhetorics of Nuclear Detterance.
