Mine was that the data refused to come up. I just restarted my device and that was all. Try that and see.

Two things. Either you don't have 4G coverage in your area or your SIM card haven't been activated.

The sim is a 4g sim and the area has 4g coverage

Use *#*#4636#*#* to try and force LTE.

I did that and the network dissappears and doesn't show up

My redmi note 7 doesn't activate 4g for any of my 4g sims, any idea on what might be wrong?. Its Airtel 4g and the network has Airtel 4g coverage
