Your registration to apply for a long-term visa (more than 90 days) for students of category B has been successful.

Your reference number is:

Each applicant must have a separate booking/registration. Each applicant, including minor children, needs an appointment.

Please note that the waiting period is over a year. You will only receive an e-mail with the exact date of your appointment four weeks prior to your appointment.

I want to know if:
1. This application is still valid? (as I didn't apply using the new link: https://digital.diplo.de/visa)

2. When should I expect notification for my appointment?

3. Do I need to re-apply using the new link as I already have admission to start in October 2025 and I have also commenced with enrollment but yet to pay the fees?

You need to ensure you appear for your interview with complete documents. If your blocked account isn't complete, try to complete it or simply use SL.

If you appear for interview at embassy with incomplete documents, you'll be bounced and asked to reapply (starting the whole process all over again.)

You need a sponsor who has a working visa residence permit in Germany. Ask he/she to walk to any ausländerbehörde and ask for a date and the requirements of the city. They'll submit payslips, house contract etc and the creditworthiness will be checked. It cost just €29

I think you didn't get the question properly. He's asking of sponsorship letter SL and partially funded Blocked Account not scholarship.

I already have my letter of admission form the university of tubingen and I can't defar my admission (cause they don't allow deferment) expected to resume October 2025 my possible ad will come December -February.

Please what's the link to do age declaration affidavit online? Does that mean doing it online wouldn't require having one's parent doing this?

Try and reschedule your appointment while getting an admission without tuition, unless you intend to pay the tuition amount. The VO will look at your admission letter and ask you to make that payment


When you get to Germany, you can decide to switch to the school. If you can't afford such fees, please avoid applying to such schools. "Prestige" is not a thing in Germany.

Thank you for the prompt response. I would look into rescheduling. I had considered it, but wasn’t sure it’d fly as the second application is dependent on uniassist and my evaluation is still in progress.

I’d update the group whichever way it goes.
