The most important instrument the devil uses to torment people is fear. Walking by faith is the only antidote to overcoming fear.

When the children of Israel were on their way to the promise land they got to a dead end. The host of the Egyptians were coming behind them and the red sea was right before them. Looking at this situation, many of them had accepted to die; they told Moses "why do you bring us to the wilderness to die".

The Lord came to their rescue and what they feared seems not to be there. However, the devil implemented what they said . Many of them died in the wilderness.

Since the devil will not want you to enter your promised land; He will magnify every situation in which God before hand had proclaimed your victory just to put you under pressure and stop you from advancing further into your glorious destiny.

Be careful not to accept the verdict of the devil over your life; because it is whatever you see and believe in every situation in your life that will be your experience.

Discover to always know what the Lord is saying about every situation. Take bold step towards the direction of His word for you no matter how risky it may appear to be and you will discover that in the actual sense what is making you to be afraid is not there.

The Lord who is the creator of all things is the secret behind everything that is standing. Every situation of life will bow at the emergence of God's presence in your life.

The ultimate plan of God for your life is that goodness and mercy should follow you all the days of your life even as you follow Him continuously in His presence (Ps 23:6). Therefore, the best position for everything you need and desire in life is behind you and not before you. This is because you will eventually leave them behind when the time comes for you to meet the Lord in eternity and the fact that they cannot help you to stand in the battle of life.

Allow the Lord to take preeminence over every situation of your life. Despite the fact that you will be required to take responsibility of getting whatever you need in life; you are required to place your struggles under His will for your life. Don't allow the cares and worries of life to take you away from the Lord who is able to enlarge your coast.

Don't be ignorant of the fact that the devil has not given up on you. The ancient enemy who destroyed what Job gathered for years in a single day is still the one after your life.

You have come to the point where you can't just go on in the journey of life without an anchor. Make the Lord your anchor as you proceed on the pathway of destiny and you will neither fall nor be disappointed.

The Lord will strengthen your heart to follow Him at all cost in Jesus name. Amen!

In this last days ensuring God's kingdom requires forceful deliberate effort in the direction of God's will.

We read about the three Hebrews in the bible. They refused to bow when all other people were bowing to the golden image setup by King Nebuchadnezzar despite knowing the consequence of doing that. In their own case it takes being thrown into the fiery furnace to establish the kingdom of God. The same king who forced the people to bow to the golden image was the one who defended and proclaimed God as the true One that must be worshiped by all (Dan 3:1-30).

We are in a generation where majority are treading on the wide road that leads to destruction. It looks as if everybody is compromising their faith for Jobs, connections, marriage, academic qualification and many wonderful things of life. It is very difficult to really find those who are model to righteousness and holiness.

Preaching the gospel is now a serious issue; the world system give no time for such. What occupies most prayer sections in various worship centres are request for material things of life. The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ only remains a supplementary statement which cannot be seen vividly in the lifestyle of men.

What hope do you have to make eternity with God. When last did you fast and pray for deliverance over the besetting sins in your life. Will you also be among the violent who will take it by force?

In this present dispensation the plan of God will not be implemented on the lap of luxury. You must always seek to ensure the preeminence of God deliberately in every aspect of your life.

You may not be so passionate about God's plan and will for your life but that does not change the passion the devil has for going to and fro looking for whom to devour.

Whether you belief it or not; the devil will still succeed in the lives of those who are careless about their lives. He is not ignorant of your prayers, plans and the next level you are aiming at. He is a strong opposition to whatever you want to be.

The devil will not but want to destroy your blissful marital relationship, make you fall sick, lose your Job, fail your exams, be at loss in business, compromise your faith and experience set back in all ramification of life.

If you must experience heaven on earth you must take it by force through simple obedience to God and his will. It is not limited to raising your voice in prayer but living your life in the pattern of God's will for you.

The only key to establishing the kingdom of God in every affair of your life is to be like Jesus in his approach and attitude towards prayer, various relationships, food and the priority He placed towards the will of God.

The devil will not prevail over your life in Jesus name. Amen!

Are you in business, a professional, academician, civil servant, student, apprentice or you even own an enterprise; as you step out into the year the best approach is to ask the Lord what he will have you do?

Are you seeking for Job, promotion, admission, fruit of the womb and wonderful possession of life; it is time to seek God's direction.

Are you sick and tired of troubles, weary and perplexed about the situation of your life; seek the Lord to know what He will have you do!

Are you a sinner, a backslider or an enemy of the gospel and you just think you can go on this way. Come unto Him and He will give you the rest you need.

You need not to limit what the Lord can do in your life considering your previous experience; even if yours is a wilderness experience the Lord said He will make a way and if it is a desert, He will make river to flow.

The Lord is telling you to forget about your past and being alive to see the new things he has in stock for you. It is possible that you have seen great things in the past; the best is yet to come; He said there are still many things that has not entered your heart that he still wants to do.

Give all glory to the Lord who brought you this far; even as you travel on with patience trusting only on Him. Repent also from every old ways of life and walk in the newness of life according to the will of God. Put your mind away from what you have achieved so far in the Lord. Take away the ashes on your altar for fresh fire.

Keep your faith alive to believing the words of God; this is the most important factor that will determine your experience.

It takes the grace of God to see the end of the year. Many men begin the year with wonderful plans, aspirations and resolutions; little did they know that death is coming their way. It is not as if you are so smart, careful, prayerful or righteous that you are still alive; it is a deliberate working of God in your life.

It is possible that you are not even excited looking at the situation of your life mainly because various expectations are not met and situation of life looks as if the promises of God has not come to pass. However, the fact that you still have life is the best thing that is happening in your life. All hope is lost over those who didn't make it, but not you.

If you can breakthrough the year it is an indication that you are alive to have breakthrough over all your problems. It is also to give you another opportunity to get it right in every area of your shortcomings and failures. It is also an avenue for God to start with you in a new way with the aim of bringing out the gold of your life.

There is no need for you to waver through unbelief looking at the past years but keep your faith alive in God who is able to do what he has promised even as you patiently wait for Him to do so (Rom 4:19-21).

Whatever the case may be with you; you are highly indebted to God. The best thing to do is not to complain, worry about the past or future but to give all Glory to God.

Whatever the case may be with you, always have it at the back of your mind that your existence is never your idea and you are ignorant of what your life will be in the next moment.

You are required to acknowledge God who is the builder of everything as you proceed on the pathway of destiny. If you will not work in vain in every aspect of your life; you must always seek God in all things (Ps 127:1-2).

Life is a gift from God to all mankind. It wasn't by your own choice but orchestrated by God Himself. Therefore, it is wrong for you to ignore the Lord in the affairs of your life.

Life is a test because you will give an account of how it was spent. The Lord is ever waiting to see if your life is not a wasted investment. He is also interested in seeing if you are productive with respect to the level of grace you have received and the resources he placed at your disposal.

Life is also characterized with several battles. Battle over sin, flesh and worldliness. These are the bedrocks of all battles of life. Your victory is in the Lord alone; for everything is by Him and for Him. Sooner or later we will all have every reason to meet Him in eternity.

Becoming what the Lord wants you to be, begins with having a foresight of His precious plan for your life. Without a vision, a man can never know who he is, what is expected of him, what he should seek and where he is going (the goal to achieve).

The most important gift reserved for young men by the Lord in this last days is vision (Joel 2:28). However, the devil has robbed this special gift in the lives of several young men. He makes them to sacrifice the strength and the passion for great exploit meant for pursuing their God given vision on the altar of pornography, sport, social networks and the likes.

A man with a proper vision will see and think about God in every thing he does. Daniel and the three Hebrews chose not to defile themselves; the vision they had does not allow them to settle for what is not the will of God for them. Initially, it seems they are not enjoying but in the long run, they were ten times better (Dan 1:8-20).

Joseph did not allow the benefit that surrounded his life to becloud his vision. He would rather remain a prisoner than sin against God who is the pillar of His destiny.

A man with a vision and passion for God is a man of the future. What do you seek and live for? What are your values and passion? Until you pursue the will of God for your life you are nowhere in the purpose of God.

There is no doubt in the fact that you have some pressing issues around your life at this very point in time. You are required to see beyond challenges so as to see the solution coming from the Lord who is above all.

Despite the fact that we all have the physical eyes we see differently and not every man has a spiritual eye. In the same situation where someone is seeing a dead end and serious problem or disaster another can see possibilities.

As the year is running out what do you see. What are your expectations. It is whatever you see that the Lord will bring to pass.

The manner in which you look up to God will go a long way in determining His precious plans for you. When a man doesn't know how to lookup to God, he will never have the right sight to project into his future; he wont see beyond his capability and he stands the risk of been eaten up by the challenges that surrounds his life.

From whatever situation you find yourself begin to see God lifting you out of it.
Begin to see yourself rising above every limitation, outstanding success in place of failure, perfect health and prosperity in place of sickness, liberation from every spiritual bondage and sin; not because your power will do it; but because the Lord has commanded it. Remain steadfast in the Lord and whatever you see will become your experience.

The generation in which we are is a type that look for signs. Whatever the case may be, the ultimate interest of God for all mankind is to come to repentance.
The sign of Jonah is a sign that represents the call for repentance. A ministry that truly represents the course or mission of the Lord on earth can never be without this sign. It is not healthy for you to remain in a place or ministry where this sign will not be paramount.
The singing, dancing, rejoicing and motivation to do great things in life from the word of God which are the norms of various ministries will be good and meaningful if the weakness and the rottenness of our respective individual lives as a result of sin will be exposed to us.
When a man is sick and yet ignorant of his ailment; death will claim such life without prior notice. It is a pity that the sign of Jonah no longer exists in most of the churches these days. Many people still have confidence in their sins and no longer anticipate the coming of the Lord. Hence, the life of many believers are not in proper shape for the coming of the eternal King of Glory because we place more priority on what we want to become.
Like the days of Noah; people were eating, drinking and getting married so will it be the day of the Lord (Matt24:37-41). Signs of the time are here; it is the signs of Jonah, calling you to repent from all your sins otherwise the judgement of the Lord will come on you.

He is not ignorant of your services and the labour of love towards Him. He knows your faithfulness, commitment and the nature of the heart with which you served Him. He also knows how long you have been with Him despite your predicament.

If the Lord is speaking directly to you at this very point in time; He takes no pleasure in sending you away empty handed. The fact that He has fed you with manna that will help you to make heaven all this while does not mean He will not beautify your life for His glory through meeting your needs in a grand style. He knows the likelihood of your falling as you advance on the pathway of destiny if He does not do something special in your life.

Irrespective of whatever your needs may be in the Lord; He is telling you to sit down; stop running here and there. The set time of your miracle is at hand. He will satisfy all your thirst. The original blessing you have been seeking all this while is in Him.

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this", says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." (Malachi 3:10 NIV).

There are several controversial issues concerning the payment of tithe in this present dispensation. Whatever the case may be with respect with what you believe in the word of God, the fact still remains that God does not expect you to consume all His blessings in your life.

This principle started from the garden of eden; The Lord presented all the fruits of the garden to them but did not give everything for their consumption (Gen 2:15-17). In the principle of harvest; the Lord commanded His people not to harvest everything but to leave some deliberately for the less privileged and also to bring the tenth of their produce to His house (Deut 24:19-21).

Jesus did not come to rule out these principles (matt 5:17-20); He didn't speak on tithe but emphasis on you and everything you have. He does not want your life to be limited on giving a portion to God while your heart does not belong to Him. The men in the act of the apostles gave everything they had; a way of responding to the influence of the Holy Spirit.

If you don't give your tithe, what then do you pay? By all standard God want us to give our entire lives to him. Whatever you give back to God is just an open door for another blessing. Don't eat your seeds.

The manifestation of the Son of God is meant to destroy the works of the devil (1Jn 3 :. Therefore, the emergence of every child of God in every domain is meant to destroy the works of the devil.

You are not fulfilling the purpose of your creation if your existence does not stop the work of darkness wherever you are and in whatever you do.

A man who fails to bruise the head of the serpent is equally giving the serpent the right and the opportunity to bruise your feet with the aim of stopping your progress on the pathway of destiny.

The ultimate interest of the devil in the life of any man is to stop him from making progress. He will not stop him from enjoying sin to any length of his desires but will bruise his feet to stop him whenever he is set to enter into his rest in any aspect of life. The free gift you get from committing sin is death. The presence of sin in your life makes you an enemy of God.

Don't make friendship with the serpent but rather bruise its head. Repent from your sins and live up to the expectation of God for your life. Allow God to work in you to convict sin in the lives of the men in your immediate contact.

The Lord will give you grace and strengthen you to be like Jesus Christ in the destruction of the works of darkness in every aspect of life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Pray until something happen so they say! One of the most difficult spiritual exercise is prayer most especially when it seems all effort is not yielding any positive result. However, the Lord is very much interested in hearing your voice on daily basis.

You don't trust God because you say you do but because of your attitude towards prayer. A man who truly puts his trust in God will be a man of prayer because he will always present every load of his care before the Lord. Such will not take any step without praying.

Nevertheless, we must not put our faith in prayers but in God who will respond to those prayers. Some people are very much interested in praying than responding to the will of God for their lives. The simple definition of prayer is presenting your entire life to God according to His will.

When it seems the answers to your prayers are delayed don't give up praying. In every prayer; God will always try your patience to know if you truly trust and depend on Him. He is also interested in knowing if truly you have nothing else to fall back to in the absence of His response.

Is there no selfish reason behind your petitions? Will you still obey and serve Him if he chooses not to respond to your petitions?

Be glad for all God is planning for your life. Wait patiently on Him even as you continue to look up to him in prayer to respond to your needs. Whatever the case may be; pray without ceasing.

The Lord will answer your prayers in accordance to His will in Jesus name. Amen!!!

At this very point in time, it is possible that you begin to have a reflections of what you have achieved so far as the year runs out. If your case is a type that seems not to make much progress or enjoy the physical blessing of God as you thought you would; it does not change the fact that you are highly indebted to God who spared your life.

You are not among those who died even when they never dreamt of that. The Lord had been gracious enough to keep sickness away from your home. You did not lose your freedom on the account of the offence you did not commit.

Don't be like those men who will only praise God when success comes their way or those men who want to use God to achieve their aims and abandon His ways. Rejoice in the Lord your saviour; better days lie ahead.

However, the Lord has promised not to allow terrible diseases to afflict all those who chooses to obey Him to always walk in the direction of His will. Since disobedience to God's will is the source of all life's problem and trouble always make effort to obey God so as to be in health even as your soul prospers. The best the doctors can do in a man's life is to care; the Lord is the mighty healer. Turning to God is an act of turning to a healthy life.

However, the diversity of the gift of God and the influence of selfish interest on the church gave rise to denominations. Despite the fact that having different denominations is not the ultimate plan of God for His church the fact still remains that God will always honour His word and name.

You must be mindful of the church you attend. The essence of the Church is to help you as a bride of Jesus to present you to Him without having spot or wrinkle; perfecting holiness and righteousness in the fear of God.

Any Church that does not help its members to grow nor condemn their sinful act is a typical example of the church that shut the gate of the kingdom of God against its members. Allow God to lead you.

- Shield of Faith: It drives out fear. If you are a man who wants to see before you believe you lack this weapon. It is the one that sings the song of victory because the Lord has said it even when things seems to fall apart.

- Belt of Truth: It determines what you stand for whether what the Lord has said or your situation. You will always be free if you know the truth.
- Breastplate of Righteousness: It determines your boldness in the battle of life. When your ways are not right before God you lack this weapon.
- Shoes with the preparation of Gospel of peace: It is the weapon through which you present God to men.
- Prayer: It is the weapon with which you present your petitions to God. The source of every divine intervention.

Your victory in life's battle depends on these weapon.

The devil will not stop you from having fellowship with the people of God, speaking spiritual language and engaging in various activities; his ultimate interest is that you should have a teeth that cannot bite in the spiritual realm. He makes the armor of God to look awkward and irrelevant to men.

To be victorious in all battles of life you must put on the WHOLE armour of God as highlighted below:

- Helmet of Salvation: All other spiritual weapons depend on this weapon. It is the most important weapon which registers your presence in the spiritual realm. It shows your identity.
- Sword of the spirit: This is the weapon that makes you offensive. The weapon with which everything on earth was created; the only weapon with a creative power.

Others weapons includes shield of faith, belt of Truth, breastplate of Righteousness, shoes with the preparation of Gospel of peace and Prayer. These will also be discussed next time.

Don't allow the enemy to make you to lose your helmet and sword no matter what he will give you in exchange.

Therefore, our weapon is not anointing oil, handkerchief, holy water, soap, candle and the likes. Every true miracle will always come through the weapon called faith.

Believing what the Lord has said concerning the situation around your life is all you need to see God in action on your behalf. Honestly, the power of God can come on you directly without entering the bottle of olive oil, water and the likes before the Lord will do His wonders in your life.

The weapon of our warfare includes the helmet of salvation, Sword of the spirit (The word of God), breast plate of righteousness, gospel of peace, belt of truth, shield of faith and prayer. The devil has robbed most Christians of these weapons; thus making it difficult to cast down evil imaginations against the knowledge of God. Put on your armour today.
