It takes the grace of God to see the end of the year. Many men begin the year with wonderful plans, aspirations and resolutions; little did they know that death is coming their way. It is not as if you are so smart, careful, prayerful or righteous that you are still alive; it is a deliberate working of God in your life.

It is possible that you are not even excited looking at the situation of your life mainly because various expectations are not met and situation of life looks as if the promises of God has not come to pass. However, the fact that you still have life is the best thing that is happening in your life. All hope is lost over those who didn't make it, but not you.

If you can breakthrough the year it is an indication that you are alive to have breakthrough over all your problems. It is also to give you another opportunity to get it right in every area of your shortcomings and failures. It is also an avenue for God to start with you in a new way with the aim of bringing out the gold of your life.

There is no need for you to waver through unbelief looking at the past years but keep your faith alive in God who is able to do what he has promised even as you patiently wait for Him to do so (Rom 4:19-21).

Whatever the case may be with you; you are highly indebted to God. The best thing to do is not to complain, worry about the past or future but to give all Glory to God.

The general view a man has about life is very important to how he responds to various affairs about it. The best way to live is to see God in everything.

Many men live their lives as if it belongs to them; they will rather push God out of their way in a bid to achieve their aim. Whatever the case may be with you, always have it at the back of your mind that your existence is never your idea and you are ignorant of what your life will be in the next moment.

You are required to acknowledge God who is the builder of everything as you proceed on the pathway of destiny. If you will not work in vain in every aspect of your life; you must always seek God in all things (Ps 127:1-2).

Life is a gift from God to all mankind. It wasn't by your own choice but orchestrated by God Himself. Therefore, it is wrong for you to ignore the Lord in the affairs of your life.

Life is a test because you will give an account of how it was spent. The Lord is ever waiting to see if your life is not a wasted investment. He is also interested in seeing if you are productive with respect to the level of grace you have received and the resources he placed at your disposal.

Life is also characterized with several battles. Battle over sin, flesh and worldliness. These are the bedrocks of all battles of life. Your victory is in the Lord alone; for everything is by Him and for Him. Sooner or later we will all have every reason to meet Him in eternity.

Becoming what the Lord wants you to be, begins with having a foresight of His precious plan for your life. Without a vision, a man can never know who he is, what is expected of him, what he should seek and where he is going (the goal to achieve).

The most important gift reserved for young men by the Lord in this last days is vision (Joel 2:28). However, the devil has robbed this special gift in the lives of several young men. He makes them to sacrifice the strength and the passion for great exploit meant for pursuing their God given vision on the altar of pornography, sport, social networks and the likes.

A man with a proper vision will see and think about God in every thing he does. Daniel and the three Hebrews chose not to defile themselves; the vision they had does not allow them to settle for what is not the will of God for them. Initially, it seems they are not enjoying but in the long run, they were ten times better (Dan 1:8-20).

Joseph did not allow the benefit that surrounded his life to becloud his vision. He would rather remain a prisoner than sin against God who is the pillar of His destiny.

A man with a vision and passion for God is a man of the future. What do you seek and live for? What are your values and passion? Until you pursue the will of God for your life you are nowhere in the purpose of God.

There is no doubt in the fact that you have some pressing issues around your life at this very point in time. You are required to see beyond challenges so as to see the solution coming from the Lord who is above all.

Despite the fact that we all have the physical eyes we see differently and not every man has a spiritual eye. In the same situation where someone is seeing a dead end and serious problem or disaster another can see possibilities.

As the year is running out what do you see. What are your expectations. It is whatever you see that the Lord will bring to pass.

The manner in which you look up to God will go a long way in determining His precious plans for you. When a man doesn't know how to lookup to God, he will never have the right sight to project into his future; he wont see beyond his capability and he stands the risk of been eaten up by the challenges that surrounds his life.

From whatever situation you find yourself begin to see God lifting you out of it.
Begin to see yourself rising above every limitation, outstanding success in place of failure, perfect health and prosperity in place of sickness, liberation from every spiritual bondage and sin; not because your power will do it; but because the Lord has commanded it. Remain steadfast in the Lord and whatever you see will become your experience.

The generation in which we are is a type that look for signs. Whatever the case may be, the ultimate interest of God for all mankind is to come to repentance.
The sign of Jonah is a sign that represents the call for repentance. A ministry that truly represents the course or mission of the Lord on earth can never be without this sign. It is not healthy for you to remain in a place or ministry where this sign will not be paramount.
The singing, dancing, rejoicing and motivation to do great things in life from the word of God which are the norms of various ministries will be good and meaningful if the weakness and the rottenness of our respective individual lives as a result of sin will be exposed to us.
When a man is sick and yet ignorant of his ailment; death will claim such life without prior notice. It is a pity that the sign of Jonah no longer exists in most of the churches these days. Many people still have confidence in their sins and no longer anticipate the coming of the Lord. Hence, the life of many believers are not in proper shape for the coming of the eternal King of Glory because we place more priority on what we want to become.
Like the days of Noah; people were eating, drinking and getting married so will it be the day of the Lord (Matt24:37-41). Signs of the time are here; it is the signs of Jonah, calling you to repent from all your sins otherwise the judgement of the Lord will come on you.

If the Lord is speaking directly to you at this very point in time; He takes no pleasure in sending you away empty handed. The fact that He has fed you with manna that will help you to make heaven all this while does not mean He will not beautify your life for His glory through meeting your needs in a grand style. He knows the likelihood of your falling as you advance on the pathway of destiny if He does not do something special in your life.

Irrespective of whatever your needs may be in the Lord; He is telling you to sit down; stop running here and there. The set time of your miracle is at hand. He will satisfy all your thirst. The original blessing you have been seeking all this while is in Him.

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this", says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it." (Malachi 3:10 NIV).

There are several controversial issues concerning the payment of tithe in this present dispensation. Whatever the case may be with respect with what you believe in the word of God, the fact still remains that God does not expect you to consume all His blessings in your life.

This principle started from the garden of eden; The Lord presented all the fruits of the garden to them but did not give everything for their consumption (Gen 2:15-17). In the principle of harvest; the Lord commanded His people not to harvest everything but to leave some deliberately for the less privileged and also to bring the tenth of their produce to His house (Deut 24:19-21).

Jesus did not come to rule out these principles (matt 5:17-20); He didn't speak on tithe but emphasis on you and everything you have. He does not want your life to be limited on giving a portion to God while your heart does not belong to Him. The men in the act of the apostles gave everything they had; a way of responding to the influence of the Holy Spirit.

If you don't give your tithe, what then do you pay? By all standard God want us to give our entire lives to him. Whatever you give back to God is just an open door for another blessing. Don't eat your seeds.

You are not fulfilling the purpose of your creation if your existence does not stop the work of darkness wherever you are and in whatever you do.

A man who fails to bruise the head of the serpent is equally giving the serpent the right and the opportunity to bruise your feet with the aim of stopping your progress on the pathway of destiny.

The ultimate interest of the devil in the life of any man is to stop him from making progress. He will not stop him from enjoying sin to any length of his desires but will bruise his feet to stop him whenever he is set to enter into his rest in any aspect of life. The free gift you get from committing sin is death. The presence of sin in your life makes you an enemy of God.

Don't make friendship with the serpent but rather bruise its head. Repent from your sins and live up to the expectation of God for your life. Allow God to work in you to convict sin in the lives of the men in your immediate contact.

The Lord will give you grace and strengthen you to be like Jesus Christ in the destruction of the works of darkness in every aspect of life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Pray until something happen so they say! One of the most difficult spiritual exercise is prayer most especially when it seems all effort is not yielding any positive result. However, the Lord is very much interested in hearing your voice on daily basis.

You don't trust God because you say you do but because of your attitude towards prayer. A man who truly puts his trust in God will be a man of prayer because he will always present every load of his care before the Lord. Such will not take any step without praying.

Nevertheless, we must not put our faith in prayers but in God who will respond to those prayers. Some people are very much interested in praying than responding to the will of God for their lives. The simple definition of prayer is presenting your entire life to God according to His will.

When it seems the answers to your prayers are delayed don't give up praying. In every prayer; God will always try your patience to know if you truly trust and depend on Him. He is also interested in knowing if truly you have nothing else to fall back to in the absence of His response.

Is there no selfish reason behind your petitions? Will you still obey and serve Him if he chooses not to respond to your petitions?

Be glad for all God is planning for your life. Wait patiently on Him even as you continue to look up to him in prayer to respond to your needs. Whatever the case may be; pray without ceasing.

The Lord will answer your prayers in accordance to His will in Jesus name. Amen!!!

At this very point in time, it is possible that you begin to have a reflections of what you have achieved so far as the year runs out. If your case is a type that seems not to make much progress or enjoy the physical blessing of God as you thought you would; it does not change the fact that you are highly indebted to God who spared your life.

You are not among those who died even when they never dreamt of that. The Lord had been gracious enough to keep sickness away from your home. You did not lose your freedom on the account of the offence you did not commit.

Don't be like those men who will only praise God when success comes their way or those men who want to use God to achieve their aims and abandon His ways. Rejoice in the Lord your saviour; better days lie ahead.

Always consider it a privilege if a man can atleast lift up a finger to provide support of any kind to your life.

Every man is battling with several pressing issues and challenges that has to do with his own life. It requires great heart of sacrifice for any man to really help another even in the midst of several needs confronting his own life. It requires the intervention of God to receive help from men.

Therefore, we must always learn to look up to God for help even when it seems we have the capacity put in place to help either from our own resource or that of the men around us.

The Lord is not ignorant of every detail of our lives and meet up our needs. He can be trusted and is always right on time. Trust in Him to send help to you. To depend and act on the words or promises made by men is to prepare for failure and disappointments.

Life in general is about give and take; as you do unto men so they will do unto you. God will not send help to you if you are also doing nothing to support men within the limit of your capability when your are required to do so. Take eyes away from temporary things of life and look up to God for help in every aspect of life.

Even if it appears bad or evil you must always believe the fact that God loves you and that His thought towards you is not of evil.

The father of faith "Abraham" got to a point on the pathway of his destiny where he began to lose his patience. He wondered why the Lord refused to give him a child even with all his obedience and commitment towards His will (Gen15:1-5). The Lord actually used his life to send the message of hope that is able to strengthen the faith of a man to several generations.

You are not created to live for yourself but to fulfill a definite course in the entire purpose of God for all mankind. There is a chapter the Lord wants to use your life to write in the entire history of human race.

Cooperate with God by doing His will alone in every situation of life so that His precious plan will be accurately implemented in your life.

Marriage to some extent exposes the true identity of a man at least to his/her spouse. If you are in a relationship with anyone, the true nature of who he/she is will be becoming clearer to you. Every married man is a man whose eyes are opened to some reality of life.

A man can say all sought of wonderful things to you when not yet married to you. It is only in marriage that you can know your true worth; how you are loved cherished and accepted with respect to all the flop in your life. The revelation of the true identity of a man at various level of life is what will determine if the relationship will stand or not.

Therefore, you can't know a man like the one who created him. If there is a need for you to get married delight yourself in the Lord. Acknowledge Him in this matter. Don't join the category of people who says there is nothing like the will of God in marriage. Don't be wise in your eyes because you don't know the challenges of life that is on the pathway of destiny for you. The Lord who is the alpha and omega of your life is the one who knows what is truly best for you; wait patiently on Him.

Every sickness and disease is much more a spiritual than a physiological affair. It is always an aftermath of the right things you refuse to do before man and God.

When the devil is set to bring a man down he attacks his general well being. It is also a tool in the hand of the Lord to punish offenders. It exists in different forms having different names like Ebola, cancer, fever, typhoid, HIV and so on.

In some cases it comes into a man's life for the purpose of trying his faith just like the case of Job. It may also be as a result of carelessness in what we eat, wear and care towards our body. Whatever the case maybe, it is the devil that is at work in the life of a man who is sick or inflicted with any disease.

However, the Lord has promised not to allow terrible diseases to afflict all those who chooses to obey Him to always walk in the direction of His will. Since disobedience to God's will is the source of all life's problem and trouble always make effort to obey God so as to be in health even as your soul prospers. The best the doctors can do in a man's life is to care; the Lord is the mighty healer. Turning to God is an act of turning to a healthy life.

The Lord by the virtue of His will put an end to every health challenges in your life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The problem we face in life always takes its source majorly from every decision we make contrary to the will of God for our lives. The only time the devil can operate in the life of a man is when he is not within the circumference of the presence of God.

Therefore, the first thing the devil will always want to achieve in the life of every man is to take him away from the presence of God. Whenever you come to a point in life where an option placed before you will make you to go away from God; know that it is the strategy of the devil to perform his enterprise in your life.

You will always be tempted to think there is something better outside God. Something will be telling you that if not for the fact that you are born again you would have enjoyed this and that; it is a deception of the evil one to take you away.

The problem in the life of the prodigal son began when he chose to go away from the father. However, in his situation he did not forget that His father still loves him. He met the open arm of the father when he stepped out to return to Him.

No time is too late to turn to God. Irrespective of how terrible your sin may appear to be; the Lord is ever waiting for you to get it right with Him. You are the work of His hands He can never give up on you. No matter the gravity of the mistakes you have made so far in life; you only need to repent and come back to God.

The church you attend has great influence on your entire destiny. Church as we all know, is not a building but set of people who have common believe.

The death of the Lord Jesus Christ gave birth to the church; because we no longer need an intermediary between us and God any more. We all with open faces can now behold Him for the required transformation from glory to glory at every point in time (2Cor 3:18).

The Lord gave the church the key of the kingdom through the help of the Holy Spirit to make men to dwell in the liberty where Christ makes free.

However, the diversity of the gift of God and the influence of selfish interest on the church gave rise to denominations. Despite the fact that having different denominations is not the ultimate plan of God for His church the fact still remains that God will always honour His word and name.

You must be mindful of the church you attend. The essence of the Church is to help you as a bride of Jesus to present you to Him without having spot or wrinkle; perfecting holiness and righteousness in the fear of God.

Any Church that does not help its members to grow nor condemn their sinful act is a typical example of the church that shut the gate of the kingdom of God against its members. Allow God to lead you.

Every true son of the kingdom is a threat to the kingdom of darkness just because they are raised to destroy the works of the devil.

A man who will cast down every evil imagination to subject every situation around them to obey Christ must put on the following armour of God;

- Helmet of Salvation: This is the first weapon the devil will look for in any battle of life to know where you belong. It is the one which determines if you are truly anointed or not.

- Sword of the spirit: The weapon that makes you offensive; if you have no time for God's word; to know it and live by it you don't have this weapon.

- Shield of Faith: It drives out fear. If you are a man who wants to see before you believe you lack this weapon. It is the one that sings the song of victory because the Lord has said it even when things seems to fall apart.

- Belt of Truth: It determines what you stand for whether what the Lord has said or your situation. You will always be free if you know the truth.
- Breastplate of Righteousness: It determines your boldness in the battle of life. When your ways are not right before God you lack this weapon.
- Shoes with the preparation of Gospel of peace: It is the weapon through which you present God to men.
- Prayer: It is the weapon with which you present your petitions to God. The source of every divine intervention.

Your victory in life's battle depends on these weapon.

Every man who has given his life to the Lord has drawn a battle line with the devil. Therefore, you are not expected to live without the armor of God. Spiritual battle is the bedrock of all physical battles of life. What happened to Job began right in the presence of God before the physical manifestation.

The devil will not stop you from having fellowship with the people of God, speaking spiritual language and engaging in various activities; his ultimate interest is that you should have a teeth that cannot bite in the spiritual realm. He makes the armor of God to look awkward and irrelevant to men.

To be victorious in all battles of life you must put on the WHOLE armour of God as highlighted below:

- Helmet of Salvation: All other spiritual weapons depend on this weapon. It is the most important weapon which registers your presence in the spiritual realm. It shows your identity.
- Sword of the spirit: This is the weapon that makes you offensive. The weapon with which everything on earth was created; the only weapon with a creative power.

Others weapons includes shield of faith, belt of Truth, breastplate of Righteousness, shoes with the preparation of Gospel of peace and Prayer. These will also be discussed next time.

Don't allow the enemy to make you to lose your helmet and sword no matter what he will give you in exchange.

Despite the fact that the power of God manifests in various affairs of life; it is not rooted in physical things. Irrespective of who you are; if you are still living on earth; there are several physical and spiritual battles around your life.

We can summarize all these battles into one. This is the battle of who takes pre-eminence over your life at every point in time; be it the Lord or the devil. What is happening to you at every point in time is a function of who is exalted in your life.

Therefore, our weapon is not anointing oil, handkerchief, holy water, soap, candle and the likes. Every true miracle will always come through the weapon called faith.

Believing what the Lord has said concerning the situation around your life is all you need to see God in action on your behalf. Honestly, the power of God can come on you directly without entering the bottle of olive oil, water and the likes before the Lord will do His wonders in your life.

The weapon of our warfare includes the helmet of salvation, Sword of the spirit (The word of God), breast plate of righteousness, gospel of peace, belt of truth, shield of faith and prayer. The devil has robbed most Christians of these weapons; thus making it difficult to cast down evil imaginations against the knowledge of God. Put on your armour today.

Irrespective of how you live your life; the fact still remains that you will have no choice than to meet your creator when the time comes. Therefore, your life is incomplete without any reference to the Lord whose idea brings about your existence. It is a total misplacement of priority when you begin to nurse a thought of keeping God or His will aside in every affairs of your life.

God will not but support you if you are truly living to fulfill His purpose on earth. He will surely make straight your ways if your life is bearing the required fruit. Similarly, your soul will be so precious in His sight and He will make every effort to keep you in existence and shield your life from all danger if you are fulfilling His course on earth.

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;" (Psalms 24:1). Seeking and making the Lord the ultimate pointer of your life brings everything down at your feet. You only need to seek Him and the righteousness associated to the establishment of His kingdom at every point in time in every domain. Don't be deceived by the tricks of the devil; every true blessing in life can only be found in God the creator and the controller of all things.

It is possible that your life is not yet bringing forth the wonderful possessions of this life; it does not change the fact that God is with you to bring out the best fruit of your life in its season (Ps 1).

When Joseph was in Egypt as a slave; He was called a prosperous man just because the Lord was with Him. As a prisoner he stood firmly to represent the course of the Lord. The prison bar didn't stop what the Lord want to make out of His life. He came to the dawn of the fulfillment of his mandate at a time when the hope he had about his dreams seems lost (Gen 37-41).

If you can only hold on to God; your destiny is secured in Him. Don't look down on this free offer of God's Salvation to you; it is the only ticket you need to finding rest both on earth and eternity. Come to Jesus today and the situation of your life will fall in its rightful place.

The Lord will always be at your right hand to work out His good pleasure if you will always place Him before you. The Lord our God is the almighty; He neither sleeps nor slumber. He has no record of fall or failure.

Putting Him before you as you go on in life is the beginning of wisdom. The ultimate plan of the Lord for all His children is for their entire lives to be hidden in Him. Our limitations, mistakes and flops are expected to be buried in Him (col 3:3). He wants everyone of us to carry His identity at every point of our emergence.

There is no other Identity that is needed than that of Christ in your life. The devil will not but continue to engage in his normal business which is to steal, kill and destroy on daily basis. You will always be secured if the devil will always see Christ in you.

No man can stand before the judgement throne of God and be justified except if Christ is seen in Him. No service is acceptable before God except if fashioned in His will through the Holy Spirit.

Your life is no longer your own immediately you give your life to God. You are expected to always hide behind the Cross in whatever you do; no matter how great it is. Always live to allow the Lord to take glory over your life. The battle of your life belongs to the Lord if He is the One seen in every affairs of your life.

Whatever you place before you is what you will always seek after. It is a misplaced priority to place God behind and be chasing after wind.

The plan of God for every mankind is for everyone to live for Him alone. He does not want us to be eaten by cares and worries of this life. In His original plan; the essence of our existence is to live to obey and follow Him on the pathway of destiny. You are not expected to live your entire life to seek for what is designed to come after you.

If there is a need to make any effort in life; the Lord must be the one leading you. No struggle of life should take you away from the path of righteousness. No effort in life should deprive you of fulfilling your mandate; either in ministry, missions or even as husband/father or wife/mother as required by the Lord.

When the Lord is right before you to lead you as a shepherd; not only His goodness and mercy will come after you, but also you will always abide in His presence forever (Ps 23:6).

Allow the Lord to take all your moment and days. Seek to always operate within His terrain. Don't be deceived, stop looking towards the sky! The kingdom of God is right within us. You are in the best position to really say if truly to live to seek His kingdom. However, you can't just take your heart away from where your treasure is. Where is your treasure?

Whatever takes you away from the Lord and His precious will for your life takes away your peace and rest. Coming to the Lord is the first and foremost step to having rest for your soul.

It is not enough to come to the Lord, another important step to finding rest for your soul is bearing the yoke and the burden of the Lord. No man can be free from bearing his own yoke or burden in life. However, your burden will become lighter when you bear the yoke of the Lord; because he will take your burden over from you (Matt 6:33).

The most important burden the Lord has over all mankind is that none should perish and for every man to take it upon him/herself to be holy and live righteously so the entire world will be a very beautiful place to live.

The orientation of many men is to acquire more wonderful possession of life; saying "if only I get this and that I will be contented". However, situation of life keeps setting us on a frantic race that never really give the desired rest. This is because every glory of the world will come with the fear of losing it.

If the blessing of the Lord will follow to assist you in the fulfilment of your destiny, if you must save your home and eternal fellowship with God; you must take his yoke of upon you.

We cannot but come to crossroads (decisive moment of life) at every point in time on the pathway of destiny. You must always prepare for it as a child of God; for they will be many! However, you are required to always bear your cross on daily basis.

Cross signifies death; an identity which actually shows that you are living but not for yourself. Carrying your cross means that you are living to reflect the will of God; i.e. None of your self will be seen.

The Lord Jesus the author of our faith denied himself and bore the cross to fulfill His mandate. He taught us to do the same if we must come after Him ( i.e. succeed just like He did). In the choice of the cross to carry on daily basis, you must always deny yourself. Also, it is not enough to carry your cross; if you do, you must follow the Lord which is also the complete part of your self-denial. Identifying yourself with the cross is not an option but a must if you truly want to fulfill the course of the Lord.

The devil through his tricks will always present an alternative cross which will appear so easy and lighter to bear due to the fact that it lessen the yoke of the Lord which makes men free from sin. Many men have abandon their yoke for money, fame and material things of the world. The cross you carry will take the best of your productive moment. To win the crown you must bear the old rugged cross on daily basis.

Your life is not actually your own. There is a little you know about your conception and even your future. Therefore, you are far from being in existence if you have not had a divine encounter with the Lord who is the saviour of your soul.

However, if you truly belong to Him; your life is a divine project in His hand; planned to follow a divine program. He will take every issue of your life over to Himself to work it out at the appropriate time that will best suit His purpose.

If everything about your life will fall in the rightful place to obey divine timing; then you must wait upon the Lord. He is the owner of time and no time is wasted with Him.

Are you losing your patience, courage, faith and trust in God? Are you becoming offended and dejected as a result of your petitions which appears unattended to before the Lord? Don't be weary! The solution to the situation of your life is only waiting for the best and glorious moment. You must not stop praying and believing God even as you continue to do right and walk on the pathways of righteousness.

Don't be tempted to manipulate the glorious plan of God for your life. No man can actually describe the pathway of a miracle when it has not happened nor can explain the works of God in your life. Trust your life to the Lord who holds the master plan of your life.
