The One who is on the throne has always been there. He never left the throne.
Then another One CAME to stand for the saints. The one who CAME was called the Son of Man and also Ancient of days.

If you study the bible very well, you'll see that Daniel 7:10 and Daniel 7:22 showed us 2 persons who are called Ancient of days.
