Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong, alongside his agent David Moss, has been spotted on his way to Saudi Arabia, where he is set to finalise a transfer to Al-Khalood from PAOK FC. Troost-Ekong, who joined PAOK FC during the 2023 summer transfer window on a three-year deal, has been the subject of intense interest from several Saudi clubs eager to secure his services before his contract with the Greek side expires. The potential move, which has been in the pipeline for weeks, now seems imminent, with final negotiations poised to take place in the Saudi Arabia. The transfer was further confirmed by an image of Troost-Ekong and Mosses shared by renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Romano had earlier reported that the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Player of the Tournament had agreed to join Al-Khalood, with PAOK and the Saudi club reaching an agreement on the transfer fee. Additionally, Troost-Ekong’s personal terms have been settled, paving the way for the final stages of the deal. This recent development suggests that the official announcement could be made within hours, marking what could be the last major move in the career of the standout MVP of the 2023 AFCON tournament in Côte d’Ivoire. Troost-Ekong’s stellar performances under Jose Peseiro at the tournament have undoubtedly captured the attention of Arabian clubs eager to bring him into their ranks. |
Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his confidence in stepping into the shoes of Youssef En-Nesyri at Sevilla FC, Iheanacho recently penned a two year deal with the seven time UEFA Europa League champions following the expiration of his contract with English Premier League newcomers Leicester City. In a recent interview, the Nigerian striker shared his excitement about joining the team and his readiness to make a significant impact for the club. “I feel very good and am happy to come to Sevilla and to be a new Sevilla player. I am very happy to be here,” the former Manchester City player revealed When questioned about filling En-Nesyri’s void, the 27-year-old striker emphasised that he feels no pressure to replace the Moroccan star, who left the club for Fenerbahçe SK. “It feels good to be here. I have followed Sevilla and I have seen the games. I don’t feel pressure. En-Nesyri was a great striker who did a lot for the team. Now I am here, and what I want is to focus on the games and the team, continue improving every day, and make history on the pitch,” he continued. The Super Eagles star did not feature in Sevilla’s clash against Fulham and might not be travelling with the rest of the squad to face Liverpool at Anfield Stadium. However, it is hopeful that he will be fit to kick-start the 2024–25 La Liga campaign with their first clash against Las Palmas. |
Raphael Onyedika has attracted significant interest from numerous European and Saudi Arabian clubs following his impressive performances for Club Brugge Club Brugge manager Nicky Hayen has hinted at the possible summer transfer exit of Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika The former Midtjylland player has piqued the interest of numerous European and Saudi Arabian clubs eager to add the Nigerian international to their squads for the upcoming season. Hayen suggested that Onyedika could be allowed to leave the club for a significant sum this summer, estimating the chances of his departure as high. “Onyedika was a bit sick last week and is still not 100 percent fit. But he has already shown what value he has for the team. So I hope we can enjoy that for a while,” Hayen said Crystal Palace are keen to bolster their midfield and have been linked with Leicester City’s defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who recently signed a contract extension with the Foxes. Africa365.com earlier reported that crystal Palacehas also added Club Brugge’s defensive midfielder Onyedika to their transfer list for the upcoming summer window, impressed by his recent performances. According to the sun Crystal Palace is closely monitoring Onyedika’s situation in Belgium, with their sporting director Dougie Freedman reportedly scouting him personally. The scouts are said to be convinced of his abilities. Club Brugge has set a desired fee of at least 15 million euros for Onyedika, with some sources suggesting a figure as high as 20 million pounds, approximately 23 million euros—around 26 billion naira. |
Africa365.com brings the highlights of the best of Nigerian stars in Europe 1. BELGIUM Tolu Arokodare was on target for KRC Genk but it was only mere consolation as the club stumbled to a 3-1 defeat against OH Leuven. Nigerian youngster Yira Sor laid the assist for Arokodare’s strike in the 62nd minute to make it 2-1 to Genk after the home team had taken a two-goal advantage in the first half. However, Manuel Osifo set up Jón Dagur Þorsteinsson to net the third goal for Leuven in the 85th minute to secure the club’s first win of the season. Former Salernitana forward Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi made his debut for OH Leuven as he replaced Vlietinck midway through the second half. 2. SCOTLAND On the opening weekend of the Scottish Premiership, Cyriel Dessers and Leon Balogun featured as Glasgow Rangers began their campaign with a disappointing goalless draw away to Hearts. Warri-born Moses Ebiye also played his part for Motherwell as they were forced to a goalless draw by visiting Ross County at the Fir Park. 3. SLOVAKIA It was the best of Nigerian vibes on display at the Mestský štadión in Skalica where Trencin powered to a 2-0 victory over FC Košice. Emmanuel Uchegbu opened the scoring for Trencin on the half-hour mark with an excellent curled shot before Chinonso Emeka doubled the home team’s advantage on the stroke of halftime. However, Trencin finished the game with ten men after Emeka received two yellow cards within two second-half minutes and was sent out for an early shower. Trencin will be glad with their record of four points in their first two matches of the season, following the club’s impressive goalless draw at Spartak Trnava last week. 4. Spain Christantus Ugonna Uche scored his first-ever goal for Getafe in their 3-1 friendly defeat to Atletico Madrid at the Estadio Coliseum. The 21-year-old midfielder was making his debut for Getafe after joining the club from lower league side Ceuta for €500,000 in June 5. SOUTH AFRICA Olisa Ndah delivered a fantastic display at both ends of the pitch to help Orlando Pirates secure a 3-1 extra-time win over SuperSport United in the quarterfinals of the South African 8 Cup. Newly installed captain Ndah opened the scoring for the Pirates with a clever finish just before the break – his first-ever goal for the club. However, Maliele Vincent Pule equalised for SuperSport with a close-range header in the 49th minute to drag the game into extra-time where Orlando Pirates triumphed to advance to the semifinals. 6. SWITZERLAND Paschal Durugbor was one of the stars of the show as Neuchâtel Xamax carved out a thrilling 3-1 victory away to Aarau in the Challenge League. Durugbor claimed a goal and an assist in the encounter to inspire Neuchâtel Xamax to their second win of the three-week-old league season. It is now two goals and an assist in his first three games in Europe for 24-year-old Durugbor who only joined Neuchâtel Xamax from Sporting Lagos in July. |
The Super Falcons of Nigeria were unable to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Olympics after they failed to win any of their games. Maiko Hamano broke the deadlock for Japan in the 22nd minute before Mina Tanaka added the game’s second. Jennifer Echegini pulled one back for Nigeria just before half-time, and a few minutes later, Japan’s Hikaru Kitagawa lifted a beautifully curled free-kick into Chiamaka Nnadozie’s goal to severe Nigeria’s hope of a place in the Paris 2024 Olympics quarter-finals. Africa365.com rates the performance of the Nigerian players as they fell to a 3-1 defeat against Japan at the Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes. 1. Chiamaka Nnadozie 6/10: The Paris FC goalkeeper was left in no man’s land by the goals Japan scored. Her display maintained glimpses of her potential, and she’ll have better days. 2. Michelle Alozie 6/10: The Houston Dash full-back had arguably her best game of the Olympics. She burst forward with attacking intent several times but was defensively telling. 3. Oluwatosin Demehin 6.5/10: The Reims defender had a decent shift in the centre of the Nigerian defence. Her passes and runs forward helped the Super Falcons hold possession and build momentum from the back. 4. Osinachi Ohale 4/10: The Pachuca defender struggled with her decision-making. Her passes were also mistimed, as she lost possession too many times. However, she was locked in with her aerial and ground duels. She was forced off with an injury as the game ended. 5. Chidinma Okeke 3/10: The Mynavi Sendai Ladies defender had a terrible game. She lost her marker twice, which led to Japan’s opening two goals. Her positional awareness wasn’t great, and she seemed unsure of her preferred foot. She was replaced during the half-time break by Nicole Payne. 6. Deborah Abiodun 6.3/10: The Pittsburgh Panthers defensive midfielder was composed in possession and tried to build the Super Falcons’ attack from the middle of the park. She was forced off by an injury in the 75th minute and was replaced by Esther Okoronkwo. 7. Christy Ucheibe 6.5/10: S.L Benfica midfielder’s quick thinking gave the return ball to Echegini, who scored Nigeria’s only goal in France. 8. Jennifer Echegini 6.8/10: The new PSG signing scored a brilliant goal after a brilliant exchange of passes with Ucheibe, firing a left-footed shot into the top corner of Ayama Yamashita’s goal. 9. Toni Payne 6/10: The Everton midfielder had a quiet game despite playing in the number 10 position. This was because she dropped deep to help the team defensively. 10. Rasheedat Ajibade 5.5/10: It wasn’t the best of the games from the Super Falcons’ captain. She was unable to muster anything meaningful or creative throughout the game, and she seemed jaded later on. 11. Asisat Oshoala 5/10: The Bay FC forward didn’t have a sniff of goal in her 59 minutes on the pitch. She was replaced by Chiwendu Ihezuo. Substitutes Nicole Payne 6.2/10: The Portland Thorns defender limited Japan’s attacking threat on the right after coming on for Okeke. She was decent going forward and was integral in breaking up the opposition’s attack in the second half. Chiwendu Ihezuo 5/10: The CF Pachuca forward, like the player she replaced, had no sniff of goal in her time on the pitch as Nigeria bowed out of the Paris 2024 Olympics at the group stage. Esther Okoronkwo: The U.D. Tenerife striker played just fifteen minutes on the flank, but her introduction sparked life into the Nigerian attack. However, it was too late. Uchenna Kanu: Replaced the injured Osinachi Ohale in the 90th minute. |
Kelechi Iheanacho’s contract with Leicester City ended on June 30, ending his seven-year stint with the English Premier League newcomers La Liga giants, Sevilla FC, has officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian international and former Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, Africa365.com reports. The contract of the 2013 FIFA U-17 golden boy with the East-Midlands expired in June which ended his seven-year stint at the King Power stadium. Meanwhile, the seven-time Europa League champions, Sevilla, emerged the frontrunner to secure the signature of the creative forward, with interests from top clubs in Europe for his signature. Earlier, Africa365.com reported that the Nigerian was slated for a medical examination yesterday, and an official announcement would follow. The Super Eagles star has now penned a two-year contract with the Spanish club, bringing his free agency to an end and marking a significant addition to Sevilla’s attacking lineup. Sevilla has further solidified its relationship with Nigerian football by signing Chidera Ejuke, and now, with Iheanacho’s transfer, the connection is set to grow even stronger. This move will reunite the former Manchester City forward with his fellow Nigerian, Ejuke, mirroring his previous partnership with Wilfred Ndidi at Leicester City. Despite finishing 14th in the previous season, Sevilla will not participate in the upcoming European campaign. However, Iheanacho’s skills will be crucial in the upcoming season. |
Brazil goalkeeper Lorena da Silva Leite has confessed that their slim victory over Nigeria in their opening match of the Paris 2024 Olympics did not come easy, Africa365.com reports. Gabi Nunes scored the only goal of the encounter in the 37th minute as the Canarinhas claimed their third win in as many games over the Super Falcons. Randy Waldrum’s Falcons, looking for their first win at the Olympics since 2004, had their chances in a keenly contested affair in Bordeaux. Goalkeeper Lorena made a point-blank save from Chinwendu Ihezuo and kept out a wicked Christy Ucheibe drive before Arthur Elias-tutored Brazil grabbed their opener. The Gremio shot-stopper then denied captain Rasheedat Ajibade in the second half as Nigeria searched in vain for an equaliser. After the encounter, the 27-year-old goalie revealed that Brazil’s preparation and unity gave them the edge over the nine-time African champions. Brazil is well-prepared,” Lorena said. “Arthur is doing an excellent job, and we saw today how strong our group is. Nigeria is a tough team, but we deserved to win. Our team is united and always ready to compete for the first place.” Goal scorer Gabi Nunes also echoed the sentiments of teammate Lorena in admitting that Nigeria were no cheap customers. The last time Nigeria met Brazil at the Olympics, the Super Falcons wobbled to a 3-1 defeat. Nunes maintained that Brazil had to work hard for their win on Thursday evening. “I’m really happy with this game,” Nunes said. “It was tough, but our team is amazing. We worked hard to play well, and I’m pleased to have scored and helped the team. Now, it’s time to rest and enjoy this moment.” It does not get easier for the Super Falcons as Waldrum and his ladies will next trade tackles with Spain, who floored Asian giants Japan also on Thursday. |
A brilliant first-half strike from Gabriela Nunes Da Silva gave Brazil the three points they craved at the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux. Brazil had a goal disallowed in the first half before Gabriela Nunes Da Silva scored a thunderbolt to give Arthur Elias’ team all three points in their group opener against the Super Falcons. Africa365.com rates the performance of the Nigerian players as they lost by a lone goal to Brazil’s Canarinhas at the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux. 1. Chiamaka Nnadozie 6.8/10: The Paris FC goalkeeper denied the Brazilians on several occasions and was vocal in commanding her area. There was nothing she could have done to stop Nunes’ shot from hitting the back of the net. 2. Michelle Alozie 5/10: The Houston Dash full-back had an abysmal outing. She didn’t help Ajibade on the overlap and was constantly beaten by the opposition wingers. 3. Oluwatosin Demehin 6.2/10: The Reims defender had a fair shift in the centre of the Nigerian defence. She covered well, timed her aerial clearances and helped Nnadozie in playing out from the back. However, her lack of communication with Demehin led to the only goal of the game. 4. Osinachi Ohale 6/10: The Pachuca defender struggled with her decision-making a few times, as well as her communication. After Brazil went a goal up, her confidence dwindled by a tone and she became rather ppassive 5. Chidinma Okeke 5.8/10: The Mynavi Sendai Ladies defender, like Alozie, was easily beaten by the Brazilian attackers. She made a few ball recoveries but struggled to impose herself in that position. She was replaced by Nicole Payne with fifteen minutes left on the clock. 6. Deborah Abiodun 6.5/10: The Pittsburgh Panthers defensive midfielder could have had a better game if she took less risks considering her role. She tried to show too much flair in positions that could have hurt the team. Other than that, she was composed as always, breaking the opposition attack, and linking play between the defence and midfield. She took on a few shots herself, but none threatened Lorena Leite’s goal. 7. Christy Ucheibe 6.2/10: S.L Benfica midfielder came close to scoring twice, but was denied by the Brazilian goalkeeper. Her forward marauding runs left Abiodun with more work to do in the middle of the park. 8. Jennifer Echegini 6.2/10: The new PSG signing came close to breaking the deadlock with a brilliant header, but was denied by Leite. As the game went on, she became less involved and eventually came off in the 67th minute. 9. Toni Payne 6.1/10: The Everton midfielder delivered a pitch-perfect cross into Echegini’s path in the first half, but besides that, didn’t offer much offensively. She was replaced by Uchenna Kanu in the 67th minute. 10. Rasheedat Ajibade 6.9/10: Rasheedat’s resilience stood out this evening. She chased after every ball, and constantly took on the defenders when she got the chance, showing a true captain’s performance on the pitch. She served Ihezuo a chance on a platter in the first half, but the striker fluffed her lines and couldn’t convert. 11. Chinwendu Ihezuo 5/10: The Pachuca forward missed arguably the best chance of the game, as she failed to tap home from close range after some brilliant intricate play by Ajibade. She didn’t play the second half as Esther Okoronko came on in her place. SUBSTITUTES Esther Okoronkwo 5.5/10: The U.D. Tenerife striker replaced Chiwendu Ihezuo at the start of the second half, but couldn’t make any notable impact. Uchenna Kanu 5.5/10: The Racing Louisville striker replaced Toni Payne in the 67th minute, but like Okoronkwo, couldn’t muster anything in her time on the pitch. Ifeoma Onumonu and Nicole Payne: The introduction of these two injected some attacking energy into Nigeria’s right-hand side. Payne’s entry moved Alozie to the left side, and the Super Falcons were able to become more threatening with the combination of Payne and Onumonu on the right. |
Super Eagles captain Willian Troost-Ekong scored the winning goal for PAOK in their hard-fought 3-2 win over Borac Banja Luka in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Wednesday, Africa365.com reports. Troost-Ekong has been a regular for PAOK since he joined the club last year. And despite his long-term injury that kept him out of action for the second half of last season, he retained his place after he returned to action. The 30-year-old defender featured prominently for PAOK in pre-season, and he was in action on Wednesday when they played Borac Banja Luka in the first leg of their Champions League qualifiers. The game was supposed to be a walkover for PAOK, but the Bosnian side were quite stubborn on the night, as they replied the two goals that PAOK scored in the first half. However, Troost-Ekong turned up clutch for PAOK, as he scored the winning goal for PAOK in the 51st minute to ensure that they ran out with a 3-2 win. The Super Eagles star jumped highest to meet a cross from Kiril Despodov and sent a fine header to give his side the lead. The goal was Troost-Ekong’s first club goal since May 27, 2023, when he scored for Salernitana in a Serie A game against Udinese. |
Super Falcons played a goalless draw with Canada at the 20223 Women World Cup hosted by Australia/New Zealand. Nigeria and Canada senior women football teams go toe-to-toe for the second time in one year, on Wednesday, in a closed-door training match in Malaga, Spain which amounts to the final test for both teams ahead of the Women’s Olympics football tournament starting in France in eight days. The match will commence at 6.30pm Spain time (5.30pm Nigeria time) at the La Quinta Football Centre, Malaga. It also draws the curtain on the Super Falcons’ camping programme in Spain. Both teams were involved in a hard-fought FIFA Women’s World Cup Group B opener at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, on 21 July 2023, with the game ending 0-0. Nigeria’s goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie saved a penalty kick by veteran Christine Sinclair, and made 14 other big saves in the afternoon encounter. Coach Randy Waldrum is unlikely to make many changes from the squad that played that match, though defender Ashleigh Plumptre and forward Francisca Ordega, who started that match, are not in Spain. Waldrum will most likely stick with goalkeeper Nnadozie, defenders Osinachi Ohale, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Michelle Alozie (alongside, perhaps Chidinma Okeke), and midfielders Toni Payne, Christy Ucheibe and Deborah Abiodun. The strike-force may be entirely different with captain Rasheedat Ajibade (who missed the clash with Canada, in Melbourne due to a red card that she bagged in the Women AFCON semi-final clash with Morocco, in July 2022) coming in, alongside perhaps Uchenna Kanu and Chinwendu Ihezuo. The nine-time African champions will fly into France tomorrow, where they will spend a week in further training ahead of their first match of the tournament against Brazil at the Stade Bordeaux, on Thursday, July 25. Nigeria’s other matches in the group phase are against Spain (July 28) and Japan (July 31), both at the Stade de la Beaujoire, in Nantes. |

Saudi Arabia giants Al-Hilal have returned with a huge purse and are ready to meet Napoli’s financial demands for Victor Osimhen, Acrica365.com understands. Three clubs – Chelsea, PSG, and Al-Hilal – are the three biggest clubs still in the race to sign Osimhen this summer, as Arsenal’s interest has cooled over the past few days. Chelsea, though, are not ready to cough out any astronomical fees for the Nigerian bomber, with the Stamford Bridge giants more inclined towards a player-plus-cash swap deal. However, despite Napoli’s admiration for Chelsea’s Lukaku, the Italians are not keen on the Blues’ offer. PSG, though, have cash to spend, as the French champions are looking to make a marquee signing following the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. But the Parisians are yet to reach an agreement with Napoli, who want to enter negotiations only with a club willing to meet the €130 million release clause in the contract Osimhen signed in December. PSG are reportedly asking Napoli for a discount, with a view to getting the deal done for €90 to €100 million. This puts Al-Hilal in pole position to snatch Osimhen. According to today’s Repubblica newspaper (as per Tatto Napoli), the Saudi Arabian giants are ready to table an offer that meets Napoli’s valuation of Osimhen. Should Osimhen say yes to Al-Hilal’s offer, the 25-year-old could be on his way out of Europe heading to the Middle East in the coming days. Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda is expected to meet with Napoli’s President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and present the offer to him. If accepted, Al-Hilal’s €130 million bid will be a new African transfer record, breaking the €86 million mark that Osimhen reached when moving from LOSC Lille to Napoli four years ago. Napoli are ready to shake hands with Al-Hilal and get the deal done but Osimhen has a decision to make. The Nigerian forward dreams of playing in the English Premier League. NB: Should Osimhen accept the offer and leave Europe for Saudi Arabia? Leave your answers in the comment section below. |
Jose Mourinho’s plan to turn Fenerbahce into a title-winning side has taken a new dimension as the former Chelsea boss has identified the need for a free-scoring striker, Africa365.com reports. Mourinho, appointed to take charge of the Turkish giants last month, has found the going tough building the team he desires. Fenerbahce have won one of their three preseason friendlies: a 2-1 victory against Petrolul 52 has been followed by a 1-1 draw with Admira Wacker and a chaotic 1-0 loss to Gennaro Gattuso's Hajduk Split. The number one striker at Mourinho’s disposal is Edin Džeko who at 38 years could find the coming season an even more challenging adventure. At the same time, attackers Cengiz Ünder, Emre Mor, and Mehmet Nayir have not convinced Mourinho with their output. Mourinho wants more and, according to Koray Güçlü as per Transfer Postasi, OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi is one of the attackers on the transfer list of Fenerbahce. Moffi is preparing with OGC ahead of the new Ligue 1 season and their Europa League challenge. However, a chance to work with one of the most successful coaches in history could tempt him to leave OGC Nice for Fenerbahce. The Nigeria international has a decent goalscoring record in France, with 51 goals and 12 assists in 133 Ligue 1 appearances. Over his club career, the 25-year-old has managed 82 goals in 193 games. For the Nigeria national team, Moffi has found the net four times in 18 appearances taking his entire career record to 86 goals. Moffi joined OGC Nice initially on loan from Lorient in January 2023 before making the deal permanent in July for a combined €25 million. |
Super Eagles coaching role has been left vacant by former Ajax star, Finidi George, just less than two months in charge Nigeria Football Federation has been linked with a move to pen a deal with former head coach of the Ivorian national team, Herve Renard, Africa365.com reports. According to reports from FootMercato journalist, the Frenchman has been offered a €2 million per year salary by Nigeria and Egypt football body. Earlier reports circulating in Nigerian media outlets linked the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with Hervé Renard, the former head coach of the Zambian national team. The Super Eagles coaching role has been vacant since former Ajax star, Finidi George, resigned from his role after less than two months in charge of the team. Despite previous denials, recent reports indicate that the NFF is now actively pursuing Hervé Renard, who previously managed Saudi Arabia, in their bid to secure a 2026 World Cup ticket. These new developments come amid financial concerns voiced by Nigerian football fans regarding the potential hire. BBS Sports journalist Oluwashina Okeleji had earlier debunked the reports, citing a top NFF official who confirmed that there had been no discussions with Renard to replace George. Nigeria FA (NFF) denies Hervé Renard link. This report is inaccurate. We’ve not contacted Renard or his reps,” the official told BBCAfrica, as reported by Okeleji on his X account. However, the latest information suggests that the NFF has now made contact with Renard, signaling a potential shift from home-based coach to employing a foreign based coach despite budgetary concerns. |
2023 UEFA Europa semi-finalist, AS Roma, have identified OGC Nice and Super Eagles striker, Term Moffi, as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku Romelu Lukaku joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 for €113m but was quickly forced out after a series of unimpressive performances. Since then, he’s spent time on loan with Inter, and most recently, with AS Roma. Chelsea are looking to get the Belgian off their books with Napoli’s Antonio Conte interested in a reunion with the former Inter striker. The pair won the Serie A title in Lukaku’s first season in Italy. With Lukaku off Roma’s books, Danielle De Rossi’s Roma are looking to bring in another striker to compete with Tammy Abraham for playing time. The Giallorossi have put Nigerian striker, Terem Moffi, in their sights. The 25-year-old was signed by Roma director Florent Ghisolfi from Lorient during his first days as Nice sporting director in January 2023 for a total of €25 million. Roma wants to secure a strong forward to lead Daniele De Rossi’s team next season and Moffi fits that profile, coming off a positive season with Nice, having scored 11 goals and 2 assists in 32 appearances. The 25-year-old’s contract with Nice runs till 2025 and his stance on moving away from France is currently unknown. Moffi played in Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against South Africa and the Benin Republic under Finidi George. |
