Totally uncalled for. Jorel you are a respected trader here and much is expected of you. you need to apologise to the lady. She mentioned that the guy was some sort of forex tutor to her and seemed good at trading so naturally she parted with some money for good reason, even fellow guys give tutors money like that. so your assumption was rash and unnecessary. do the right thing.

Even if it sounds insultive, Its still stupidity, before you part with huge sum of money, its only reasonable that you carry out serious research on what you are investing in and the associated risks involved...she seems to be a novice in forex so how is it possible she is able to judge his level of expertise.
She gave him the money based on trust for reasons still best known to her..
most forex traders who get frustrated by the market either think they have become some high level financial analyst fit to train others how to make money by making seminars..the worst is that they never mention to the audience the disclaimer and risks involved which makes him a fraud...

Well , now you ve given the circumstances surrounding your transaction with him, so don't get angry when i presumed your silly (i wud say) actions were driven by some trust you developed for him after admiring his good looks during seminar ( ooh he looks so cute , he can't be a 419 ) or some random fling with him.. Being responsible with kids and hardworking still doesn't exclude you from this.you gave your guy money in secret without witnesses or consent from here and now you have beeen played for a fool you decided to respect others advice..
Now you don't have a case becos you cannot sue him since he runs a one man show and not a registered company , proof of bank trasanctions you paid to a personal account can't stand in court, Rather he could sue you for character defaming when you post his personal details and photo online ( probably he is waiting for this ,so he can reap you off again) amd claim you gave him the money as a gift.
Next time you need to think before you act....lack of exposure or ignorance shouldn't excuse stupidity..

Just report him to his broker...
