Guideline
When Layer 2 isolation is disabled, Layer 2 bridging can be implemented directly if two users require Layer 2 bridging. They do not need to send the packets to the upper-layer gateway to implement the Layer 3 bridging.
Layer 2 bridging is supported by EPON, GPBC, and GPBD boards only. In addition, these boards must cooperate with the SCUL board to implement Layer 2 bridging.

The OLT sends Ethernet frames to the GPON service(such as GPFD) processing module based on configured mapping rules between service ports and uplink ports. The GPON service processing module then encapsulates the Ethernet frames into GEM PDUs for downstream transmission using a GPON port.
GPON transmission convergence (GTC) frames containing GEM PDUs are broadcast to all ONUs connected to the GPON port.
The ONU filters the received data according to the GEM port ID contained in the GEM PDU header and retains the data only belonging to the GEM ports of this ONU. Then, the ONU decapsulates the data to Ethernet frames and sends them to end users using service ports.

Fault Description
After the MA5600T is upgraded from V800R011C00 to V800R013C10, the H802SCUN control board runs normally but the GPBD board is abnormal. After being reset, the GPBD board is still abnormal.

Possible Cause
The GPBD board is faulty.
The IO board package file is incomplete or unmatched.
Procedure
1.Replace the GPBD board but the fault persists. Install the GPBD board to another OLT, the GPBD board runs normally, indicating that this board is normal.
2.Run the display io-packetfile information command to query the IO board package file. It is found that no 10GE parameter in the queried information.
3.Unpack and pack the IO board package file, reserve the 10GE parameter, and load this IO board package file again. This fault is rectified.
Suggestion and Summary
The IO board package file used in an H802SCUN control board upgrade must contain the 10GE parameter (even though no 10GE board exists).

GPBD has different part number like H80D00GPBD01, H80D00GPBD02 etc, but basically you only need to identity H802GPBD, H805GPBD, H806GPBD H807GPBD version, and with B+ or C+ SFP module.
