After being a silent observer for the past few weeks on this thread..I think its time to post
Interview appointment: Tuesday July 24th
Time:9 am
Venue: Abuja
Since lagos embassy didn't have any free date till august,I opted for abuja and I'm loving that decision
So i got to the embassy by 7:40 and there were already hundreds of people.People were just coming out with pink slips and thunderous faces.It was like they were doing Sango festival.When it finally reached my turn
The white lady in counter 6 as the VO

VO: Good morning,Can I have your passport and your I-20
Me: Good morning (passes them over)
VO: How did you hear about georgia southern Uni
Me:I did some research on the schools offering my desired course and I kept on stumbling on the school because of their Lab and the chair of the lab,he has numerous awards in this field ( I stammer no be small here)
VO: Tell me about this course
Me: Renewable energy engineering is about generating electric power (I forget talk say from renewable sources),something that Nigeria lacks,for example this facility(the embassy) runs on a generator(she was nodding) which not good enough considering the number of energy sources we have in Nigeria. so i hope to do this and come back to work with the ministry of power
VO:has your mother been to america
Me: (I dey wonder wetin concern my mother for here now) yes she has
VO: what does she do
Me:She owns a poultry farm,fish farm and a feedmill
VO: let me see her financial records
Mehands them over)
VO:I will hold on to this and confirm them,If they check out I will approve your visa,but if they are fake you will be banned for ten years (she talk am twice)

I'm not going to advise people like i;m an expert ,as you can see my answers weren't exactly coherent...but above all pray for favour,make sure all your stuffs check out,be natural and real.....and don't listen to those guys outside the embassy(yes they're in abuja too).Thanks to everyone that contributed to this thread,you've blessed me with invaluable information....Ps Rain beat me no be small
