The current Government of Imo State, have turned up to reveal it's plan of working on some certain areas of the state, but to stating the time to commence.

Deputy governor, Gerald Irona, in a statement through his Adviser on Communications, Walter Duru, said it was part of the decision taken at the State Executive Council meeting.

Also, at the State Executive Council meeting, the government listed many roads which it approved for immediate attention, as well as the fly-overs built by the immediate past government of Rochas Okorocha.

A girl of 16 year old, have been reported to have been allegedly raped by an Islamic cleric in Osun State, Habeebulah Abdulrahman, (popularly known as Al-Edewy).

However, Mr. Habeebulah reacting to the accusation insisted that the girl is his wife and as her husband, had all right to have sexual intercourse with her.

The victim, born in 2003, lost her dad at a young age but stays with her mother in Ede, a town in Osun State. She recently completed her junior secondary education in the town.

A young lady of the University of Been, reported to be a final year student have been reported to have yeateryes attempted to kill herself by taking Sniper.

However, following her suicide Attempt, the Department of Accountancy student was by people rushed to hospital when her action was discovered.

It is unclear whether her suicide attempt is as a result of heart break.

Ahead of the year, 2020, the Joint Administration and Matriculation Board JAMB, has issued that candidates will register for its examinations with their National Identity Management Number (NIM).

According to the Examination Board, this new development was to Resolve the challenge of Multiple registration of candidates.

This new development however, was on Friday in Keffi, Nasarawa,disclosed by the board Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin during a workshop organised by the National Examination Council (NECO).

Benjamin, who spoke on the topic: “Understanding Reporting in the 21st Century”, said the development would be facilitated through partnership with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
