In 2023, Wike used Evans, and 5 other state assembly members to forcefully want to impeach the then speaker, Amachree. For the records, this present Martins (embattled speaker) was part of those 5 members that wanted to impeach the speaker then. He was compensated after that struggle with majority leader when Wike won the election and later made Speaker.
Secondly, when Wike was governor, he silenced every opposition that made him always attacked Ameachi and ban all opposition political gathering by using the state House of Assembly to enact such laws.
He went ahead to destroy businesses of those that question him (late Raymond Dokpesi is an example).
He labelled the former APC chairman a murderer to luck him up.
He insulted Traditional rulers in public (the video is everywhere).
During the PDP primary, so many political 'elephant' wanted to be governor including the likes of (Felix Obuah and Sekibo); what happened He searched for who he thinks is calm and can be easily manipulated (Fubara) to make his candidate..... I told my friends that Wike is a bully and it will be difficult for anyone to survive his nature as Godfather.
That is exactly what is happening.
Presently, none of the 4 past Governors of the State is with him on this. Those that he troubled during his time have already aligned with Fubara.

During Wikes 2nd term(election day), all manner of military came to Rivers, they even went as far as chasing police whose constitutional right it is to protect the process from the INEC collating center in GRA. It was all over the news. It was the people that helped saved Wike.

(2) in an event where he tried to interfer with the 27 HOA lawmakers functions, The National Assembly with APC Majority will take the functions of Rivers HOA lawmakers, and with simple Majority of the National Assembly Members of the APC they will serve Fubara a Notice of impeachment
(3) The CJN will take over the function of the state Chief Judge and set up a panel...and of course, the panelist are going to be APC loyalist

NO, it would be too early. Here is the game. After those seats are declared vacant, new election will take place, Fubara needed time to get the election machineries(riggers, thugs, grassroot politicians, opposition politicians) in those constituencies on his side before drawing sword, that is what he has been doing.
It would have been pointless to act so fast, then go to the election field immediately when u are not sure u have the elctorates and the political machineries and grassroot politicians and thugs on your side.
