People travel from Abuja, Bauchi and a host of northern states in search of fingerlings in the south west.

Like most of the northern states, those hatching catfish are rare from our own findings.

Hiring of the fish pond for one year is 600K.

Like most of the Nothern States, it is dry when it comes to purchasing catfish fingerlings.

Most farmers come to the West to buy and transport the fingerlings to there farm. Some even come from the east too.

Those breeding fingerlings are rare, from our own findings, in Abuja.

Experts in hatchery are very few here, that's the reason buyers of fingerlings travel as far as Ibadan

Lagos to buy them.
