Nigerian Army Cadet Corps, ONDO STATE COMMAND is a voluntary paramilitary organization, combining socio-academics and extra-curricular activities.

It was founded in 2015 and commissioned in DEC 2015 by Commanding Officer, Cdt Lt. OMOWA MICHAEL A, C.O/G.OC 2015/TILL DATE (Pioneer C.O)

The Nigerian Army Cadet Corps, Ondo state Command started its operation at the Akoko South/West L.G.A, but now has many Bases situated at:

MISSION STATEMENT

•To inculcate into cadets, the intrinsic worth of being disciplined, the doctrine of obeying orders and code of conduct authority.

•To develop in cadets the power of:

deductive analysis;

a clear and unbiased reasoning;

a broad knowledge relative on any topic;

impartiality of unity and the security of lives and property.

•To develop considerably:

the physical state of cadets through field drills and exercises;

the sense of loyalty, patriotism, service and citizenship.

•To improve considerably the capacity of cadets through courses, seminars, and symposia. Aiming at developing co-operation, skills, human control, management and a renewal sense of self-worth.

•To make available to cadets, abroad knowledge of the Nigerian Army, Army Ceremonies, Armed forces and other relevant agencies as may be deemed necessary.



REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

Membership is only open to duly
Qualify Candidate at age of 15 to 50 years
males and females and without prejudices to State and Local Government.

These conditions / criteria for membership includes the following stated below:

•All intending / prospective members are expected to be medically, physically and mentally fit. Thus, a medical certification is required from a certified Medical practitioner.

•All intending / prospective members must be duly Qualify Candidate at age of 15 to 50 years, males and females. All intending and prospective members shall partake in written aptitude test, oral interview and physical fitness exercises. Thus, eligible and qualified ones are only then offered provisional admission after duly fulfilling all criteria for membership.
