Car Talk / Re: Land In Exchange For A Toyota Car. by joyafoma: 1:29pm On Jul 02, 2018
I just don't wanna argue weda it is fake, fishy or smelly any more. I guess we all are adults and knows how to ask for land dicunents for verification in d lands registery and also request for a deed to be signed. I felt it would b easier for me to get a car for land since I needed a car rather than selling straight because the pieces of land I have been trying to sell since last year is still unsold plus d agreement I have with my client was DT I get someone to exchange car wt land since I need a car. Sincerely, I never expected to come up against so many oppositions but I guess it is normal since this country is fraught with fraud. Even me, I am suspicious of any car, cos I went to bail someone at Ajah police station last month, cos the car DT was exchanged for his land is stolen. But I have made up my mind to verify d car in all possible ways I can. I also heard DT some DT exchang cars for land latter come back wt spare keys to steal d car. So I am afraid too. But for anyone out there weda u are buying land wt cash or car, u MUST DO UR DUE DELIGENCE. If u do not know how to get a lawyer and get a DEED not a receipt. Land for cash or car is same risk, and under no condition must u fail to do ur part. When it is car for land, d risk is both ways,to both d Assignor and d Assignee. So don't u ever think that because it is not car for land but cash for land den it is free from suspicion cos if u believe DT, u'll believe anything!
Car Talk / Re: Land In Exchange For A Toyota Car. by joyafoma: 12:45pm On Jul 01, 2018
@Elshan Motors, this is becoming ridiculous! It is only someone who is lying DT contradicts herself. I said I am a lawyer and have DRAFTED over 10 deeds of cars in exchange of land. I didn't say I arranged the deals. I am aware of such transactions but in dis case it is me DT is directly involved not to draft a deed but to get d transaction closed which I have never done. Where exactly did I contradict myself sir and what exactly is ur problem with my post? Do u kno me before? Have u tried to make verifications and came up against the slightest doubt? I am very surprised at your unfounded attacks.

Once you see someone making offers like this then be wary what stops you from selling the land and buying a car if there is no problem with the land documentation?

I really don't know why people just say things they know anything about just to antagonise and annoy others. It is a very common practice in Lagos to exchange cars for land and I have drafted over 10 deeds of assignment to that effect. It is usually easier and faster because it is favours the car owner. How can i, a lawyer, not know a land DT has problems wt documentations which I processed myself. And what stops d car owner from investigating the title of the land? Is it a transaction under duress? Maybe u think it is easy to c buyers for land, ask property agents. Please, try to think and be sure of what you say before you post. There is nothing secrete about me and my law firm is open anytime for who wants to verify. I won't risk a petition to NBA against me for any reason.

How many plots of land do you have, and what type of Toyota car do you want for exchange....is it’s a tokunbo car or a Nigerian used..
My client, which is a property company that did survey for the family that originally owns all the land, owns 150 plots of land. Kindly refer to my response above as to more light about the land and what type of Toyota car. A neatly used car whether foreign or local will do. Thank you.

Where precisely is the land and how much does it worth in cash? What type of Toyota are you interested in?

The land is located at Odo Ogiriga town in Epe Local government area of Lagos state. It is a land free from government acquisition.the dry part of the land is 1M naira while the swampy part is 700k. I am a lawyer and I did all the legal documentation with respect to the land. Part of my payment is to get any car of my choice in exchange of land that equals value of the car. Any of the Toyotas even though it is a jeep from 2005 model will do. The plots of land that will be given will be determined by value of the car. Thank you.

Please, I have some plots of land at Epe in Lagos state, which I will like to exchange for a Toyota car. People told me such can be done but I really do not know how to go about it or even who to tell. Most people I tell are more interested in buying. Please can any one give me an idea of how to successfully go about this? Thank you.

Agriculture / Market For Palm Kennel Oil by joyafoma: 9:52pm On Nov 15, 2016
I recently started milling palm oil from farms I leased in Delta state. I have stored d kernel from all my palm fruits so far and now want to process the kernel into palm kernel oil and any oda by-product. I have read all the articles on line about the business but none specifically tells me exactly where to find buyers of the PKO and other Byproducts. I have already cracked some of the kernel and in a few days time, depending on when I can find a mill to extract the oil, I intend to extract the oil. I urgently need experienced hands to direct me on where to sell the PKO and educate me more on the business generally. Any useful info will be greatly appreciated by me, please. Thanks.

thanks man. I appreciate. I don leave d car joor. But still looking for a Toyota or Nissan car not above 300k but in good shape. I kno its rare for d price but its possible to get abi?
Zimwit you should stop helping me think.

a 150k car is not always a good deal. How many do you see on the road? Where will you get the body parts? When you are ready to move on and get another car what value will you get out of it? Don't jump at a car cause it's cheap, it has volkswagen parts, but the equivalent gof vehicle will not sell At that price unless there was somthing terribly wrong with it.

Wish you good luck, get a mechanic to check properly before paying for vehicle.

Siena:
The 1998 Skoda Felicia is mechanically identical to the Volkswagen Golf III. All Felicia engines, with the exception of the aluminium 1.3L 8V pushrod engine, are Volkswagen engines. 1.6 8V petrol, or 1.9 8V diesel engines. Suspension, brakes and gearbox are also Volkswagen Golf III units.

So reliability will be good, on a par with the equivalent Volkswagen Golf III. Volkswagen Golf II parts are also compatible, so there is an unlimited source of mechanical and some electric parts. The only parts that are Skoda Felicia specific are body parts, glass and lights.

At N150,000 it is a decent buy.

Good morning Sir. Tnx once more for dis advice. I got some more cash so i did'nt go for d skoda again but ever since i have been moving from one location to d oda in Lagos state wt my new born baby inspecting one car or the other that i saw on line. My brother, its so tasking and expensive. People lie a lot. Am just fed up. I was advised to go for Toyota or Nissan but d main issue i guess is dt my budget is quite low- 250k to 300k. And i need a car i can buy and drive anywhere in Nigeria without having to spend extra cash on it for now. Right now am at the end of my tether. I just felt i should come to you for help since u kno much about cars and have access to cars. Please sir, can u help me get a car that is ok for my price. I prefer wagon but salon is still ok and any year is fine just let it be good car and auto drive. Thanks so so much.

Thanks a bunch Siena. I really really appreciate. I think since i don't have more Dan 200k for a car now, based on ur analysis, i will go for the car after a mechanic have checked it that it is in order as claimed by the owner. I just hope for the very best till i have more cash for a bigger car. Tnx once more and God bless u

Religion / Re: Is Jesus Christ Same As God Almighty?? by joyafoma: 12:53pm On Jun 06, 2012
NEW BIN: Abeg i need very straight answer.
in the bible, Jesus often prayed to the father.Could he have prayed to himself?
on the cross for instance he said eli eli meaning LORD LORD WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME? IS HE THE SAME AS THE GOD HE CALLS ON?
I am confused, help!!!!

Jesus is not same as Almighty God. In the first place we must understand the meaning of father and son. Father means one who gives life while son means one who receives life- pls see Jn. 5:26. God Almighty created Jesus Christ- Revelations 3:14, Colo. 1:15-17 Eph. 3:9-these portions of the bible makes it clear that Christ was the first creation of God and that through Him God created other things, hence He is called the Word of God. It will therefore be unreasonable to equate or say the creator and His creation are one.
The bible tells us that God Almighty has no beginning or end- Ps. 90:2 bt Jesus Christ has a beginning- Jn 1:1-3. Not surprisingly, The above mentioned text is a source of confusion for many. In the beginning was the world and the word was with God and the word was God. In the beginning here refers to the beginning of creation-recall that Christ was the first to be created. Indeed Christ was with God Almighty during the rest of the creation- Prov. 8:22-30. And the fact that Christ is called God is not in dispute, in that He is the Mighty God- Isa. 9:6. However, Christ is not the Almighty God- Gen. 17:1.
During the earthly ministry of Christ-recall He was sent to this World by His father God Almighty- He, Christ, never equated Himself to His father. Said he '... I go unto my father: for my Father is greater than I'- Jn. 14:28. On another occasion He said ' i can of my own self do nothing ... Because i seek not my own will, but the will of the father which hath sent me' - jn. 5:30. See also: 1Corr. 11:3, Jn. 13:16, 12:49 etc. That was why He always prayed to His father even before His crucifixion and just before He gave up the ghost- Matt. 26:39, 42 & 44, Jn. 23:34, 46. Mark you, in his prayer to God as recorded in dt account of Matthew, He stated that 'not as i will but as thou wilt' , emphasizing the supremacy of God over him and letting us know that they are separate. Some people get confused over the statement of Christ that 'i and my Father are one'. The oneness here is further elucidate upon in prayer of Jesus as recorded in John 17:1-26. Esp. Vs. 21- that God should make His disciples to be one just as He and God are one. Their oneness is obviously oneness in purpose, otherwise all the disciples will become same entity.
The theory by some people that when Christ came to the world, he lost some powers or divinity which then made God who was in heaven more powerful is very funny, novel and has no scriptural backing. God Almighty is uncreated and is indeed Almighty. Jesus Christ, God's son, is the first creation of God and is subordinate to His father as every good son should. Christ is the second in command and is the mighty God, it is only through Him we can get to God- jn. 14:6, 1Tim. 2:5. In the book of 1Corr. 15:24-28, we are told of how God Almighty has given Christ the power to destroy Satan and bring death to an end. There it is stated that after Christ must done everything God has put in His power to do, then he shall hand over the kingdom to God that God may be all in all. It further states in vs. 27 that when they say he hath put all things under Christ, it is obvious that the person that put all things under him is excepted. Then in vs. 28, it is written that when all things shall have been subdued under Him, then shall the son also himself be subject unto Him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
What more need I say? Where the doctrine of the sameness and/or equality of God and Christ came from, i know not. But this i know, anybody that teaches what is not scriptural has no light in him- Isa. 8:20. To whom will you likened me, and make me equal and compare me, that we may be alike? Asked God Almighty in Isa. 46:5, 40:18, 42:8. In Jn. 17:3, we are told that 'this is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou have sent. And in Jn. 8:31 & 32- 'if ye continue in my words, then are ye my disciples indeed and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.'
