Let's look at the bright side and encourage ourselves. I contacted someone today and I was told only 6 persons were shortlisted due to financial constraints...

Good luck and success to those who were shortlisted. If u didn't get it, Its not as if u didn't do well but because d numbers were reduced and 1 or 2 marks must have removed u from d list. Just imagine from d usually 15,13,10 persons shortlisted over d years bn cut down to 6..

Honestly if not for u guys and some past scholars I know. I would have assumed d selection process has been concluded.

It's already 2 weeks to University of Aberdeen resumption. Yet no news. Spdc has not even reached out to d schools...
This is really devastating and frustrating plus it's so difficult to move on with out knowing d outcome of the scholarship. I can't invest cash in anything now becos I don't want it to waste if I get d scholarship.. I'm just so tied down, refreshing my mail box every day.

It's really unfair ☹️ and our mental health too is important.

I would be sending a private mail to the correspondent by tomorrow to get an update on the status of our application

I am suggesting everyone does this and then we can share any replies gotten, here.

sending this mail in numbers would bring a sense of urgency and also most importantly help us know our stakes and move on

Lastly if you have contacted them of recent please do well to share the replies.

No you mustn’t. Also it takes around a month or more to process in peak period. If required you should apply for it asap.

That's why I said if needed, and yes you can apply for it by putting SPDC as your sponsor, I did and they got back to me after two weeks

A current scholar also applied before getting the scholarship last year.

We still waiting naa...shey you said you contacted The offshore Lab correspondent. This week will end on Sunday, you can be applying for ATAS if needed, by faith

it's not all courses dat require ATAS and before u can do cas U need proof of funding

But u said questionnaires were sent to "new awardees" and asking us if we got it too. Meanwhile d questionnaire is not meant for hopefuls

I don't think SPDC needs to get back to offshore labs to get back to us, rather they'll get back to us themselves, at least I know last year they got back to my friend themselves.

A number contacted us when Interview mails rolled. I called that same number dis morning and he said shell promised to get back to them early dis week. So I presume he meant getting back to offshore lab.
