It largely depends on one's faith and choice of partner. Spouses are murdered by their so-called better halves because of wrong choice of a marriage partner. Personally, I prefer a divorce, if the plight is life threatening, to enduring atrocity in the marriage all in the name of thy till death do us part notion. That said it is incumbent on us also to ensure that we do what is expected from an ideal partner. Above all, we should not shut or refuse to apply the golden rules in the good old book - the Bible.

A Good Husband Must:

1. hate infidelity
2. refer to the Bible when resolving family issues
3. refrain from discussing every family issue with friends, colleagues,and neighbors other than his pastor, church elders, an expert or a trustworthy person.
4. see to the his children's needs: education, Godliness, courtesy, etc.
5. Above all, have time and love for the FAMILY.
