so the embassy will forward ur entire documents to the alien office in ur town of studies

I have done my interview, about 3 weeks ago. All d docs wêre complete except d confirmation mail which just came today. My vo emailed me last 2 weeks friday to bring d proof of transfering 7908 euro in order to complete my visa application. As soon as it came, i forwarded it to d embassy. What next do i do please? My Sch gave me Grace period that will elaps by next week..

Please i forwarded the confirmation mail immediately to the embassy. Please how do i forward it (confirmation Mail) to the foreign nationals office of the city that I'm going to? My Sch is JLU in giessen, Frankfurt.

sammykunjas: Once u get d crediting confirmation letter from the deutsche bank, endeavour to forward the confirmation letter to the embassy and most importantly to the foreign nationals office of the city u are going to. Embassy may not send the confirmation to the foreign office oo. They didnt forward mine. I knew because today I decided to mail the foreign office in the city to give the final consent required by the embassy. They replied me and said they have sent it today but that I have to bring a paper that can finance my stay in germany. It means that d embassy didnt send them the copy of the credit confirmation letter. I later then sent a copy of the blocked account credit confirmation letter to them. So if I hadn't contacted the foreign office, I would've been waiting for nothing. Your own case might be different sha but don't take any chances. So now I am waiting to hear from the embassy.

U wêre right, i have received the confirmation. I received an hour before noon today. It actually took them 3 working days to send it. Thanks all. #happy#

LillyGemm: I think the amount was over 8090 euros. I've calculated for you here https://www.google.co.uk/#q=11100+usd+in+euros and it's about 8200 euros. However, this is Google so you should confirm with the bank as others have suggested. In my experience, the Google rate is usually cheaper so I suggest that you go to the bank with some more money in case you are told that you didn't transfer enough money. This will help you avoid delays in getting confirmation from Deutsche bank. OR it might be that Deutsche bank made a mistake in sending you that email when they were supposed to send a confirmation of the full money received...they are human after all. As far as I know, after you have deposited the required amount of money, that's when Deutsche bank will email you. If the money isn't enough, you won't get any email about the money you have sent. Good luck !!

Thanks dear. Let's assume Euro is (for instance) 221 naira, d conversion of 8090 euro to naira would be 1,787,890. Then, let's assume dollar to be 162 naira, multiply it by 11,100 dollars that i transfered would give me 1,798,200. Meaning that i paid more than required. However, i hope they (Deutsche bank) send me d real confirmation tmoro morning, if i didnt get it, i shall visit UBA for explanation on their Exchange rates.

Ok, thanks. I will go to UBA bank tmro to re-confirm. Although i saw on d Board d day i went for d transfer that they sell dollar 161.67 naira and euro for 214.55 naira. I'll go back their tmoro to re-confirm their Exchange rate. Big Thanks.

Are you sure the money was completely sent? In other words, are you sure the principal bank you used to transfer the cash didn't remove any charges from the 8090 euros?

I sent 9,950 dollars through UBA, they chaged me 150 dollars (meaning that they transfered only 9,800 dollars). After few days, i transfered another 1,450 dollars through same UBA, and they equally charged their commission fee of another 150 dollars, (meaning that they transfered 1,300 dollars). So the total amount i have transfered to my account in germany so far is 11,100 dollars. Please is d conversion in Euro not more than the required 8090 Euros?

steelie: i don't think its the confirmation. The confirmation is supposed to state the exact amount you transferred.
