crowns2: Hello People, For those living abroad, please how do you prepare pounded yam? I mean the real yam not the processed one. I read you can use a blender or food processor. Please will it still come out very nice? Without seeds? I am thinking of travelling with my mortar because i dont eat the processed poundo but i am scared of paying for excess luggage because mortar can be heavy. Please help a sister You can make use of a food processor and it will come out nicely, no lumps or anything. Saw it on dooney's Kitchen. Here's the link - http://www.dooneyskitchen.com/2013/03/29/making-pounded-yam-in-a-food-processor-instructions/. |
