I had issues with one of their battery based completely on error from our side, do you know they replaced the battery completely even after telling them that the error was from our end

The problem is not to document a warranty.

It's to honour it.

From experience, I can tell you that you can make a bad product look good if you have good customer support/service.

So documenting warranty is never the problem
