It is not really healthy to feed a puppy just kibbles.based on the breed you have and age, make sure you are not over feeding the pop and try to add some raw food like chiken, egg or canned food to attain a high protein diet. As sunhillsfarm has said, soak the kibble and try to use lookwarm water then add chiken,eggs of canned food. However make sure his food quantity is moderate and don't leave left over food with your dog else the feed starts to irritate him making him choosy. 1 Like |

What is Cytology? Cytology is a procedure which involves inserting a swap into the female dog's vulva and scraping cells off the vaginal wall. These cells are then analyzed under a microscope to see if the female is in Estrous and is ovulating. How Cytology works It all starts by picking a swab stick and inserting it into the female dog; this procedure is painless, mostly done by a Veterinary professional and sent to the lab for further analysis. The necessity of cytology test It will help to understand if the bitch is in good condition to be bred. What is Progesterone Progesterone is the procedure that involves taking blood from a female dog's forearm, spinning down the blood to separate the serum, and then putting the serum into the machine, which then gives you a result. There is a scale that tells you when it is the best time to mate, this is usually in nanomoles. By Rosplatt (k9fertilitystockport.com) How Progesterone works According to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, a progesterone test should be done by a veterinarian as it may be stressful to the dog and should be done multiple times to determine the best time the dog should be bred. The veterinarian will take the dog's blood sample to the laboratory to track the progesterone level and analyze it in about 40min before getting the result. The necessity of Progesterone test This procedure is somewhat necessary. However, there are other ways breeders determine the best time their bitch can be bred. I have seen and experienced a lot in the business, which has made to understand that one of the problems faced as a dog breeder, marketer and trainer needs a safe and trusted space where sellers and buyers can transact without fear of being scammed, especially Nairaland. So i have created this thread to stand on a solid foundation of trust, reliability and safety for pet sellers and buyers. However, there are terms, conditions and policies by which this thread will abide to affirm the establishment and imperishability of this thread. #PALPAWS_NG By John Omotayo Terms and conditions 1. Everyone who wants to sell a pet on this thread must be verified before posting any pets for sale . 2. The use of derogatory or abusive words is not allowed. 3.
