Jobs/Vacancies / How I Started My Own Business... by judaboom: 10:57pm On Aug 14, 2014
I graduated from school in 2012 (which is quite recent) and the most difficult challenge I faced was adapting to living a normal life without exams parents stipend and other benefits I enjoyed being a student. I had to go find a job get my own apartment and start living my own life. And like you probably know this was not the easiest of tasks. So naturally I wasn't happy with the merger salary I was receiving, so I decided to learn a trade and well now I'm still unemployed looking for job but I have established my own business and am living fairly well on it. I guess the point of writng this is to encourage all job seekers not to idle away their time doing absolutely nothing as any knowledge learnt is not lost. I'm now a music producer and promoter with a blog for updating my activities online, Like my facebook page visit: https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=585054434925618, join my channel on BBM: C003834B5 and Follow me on twitter @SAGE_BEATS and please download latest mixtape from Mo'chi, this dude is just 16 buh would blow your mind. Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job Recruitment: Please Read Then Decide... by judaboom: 9:06pm On Jul 19, 2014
I would keep updating this thread till the 31st of july, after which I would start reviewing the CV's of those that have applied. In person I am a nicer person so long as we all stick to our business and share similar views. Like my Boss would say iron sharpens iron. People that think alike would always be friends no matter the arguments shared.

Have you ever heard of a marketing strategy called building a list? Every marketer uses that tactics to update their customers. As your state of mind today might be different from your state of mind tomorrow. An opportunity you pass up today might make more meaning to you after weeks of receiving detailed information. You want to be employed start thinking and reading and mind you, taking a business course might actually do a lot of you some good... if you are curious enough you apply, by going through your CV I can tell if you are going to be of any significance to me... Selection process the seeds from the shafts. And mind you my CV tells a lot about my history and struggle and dedication, and having 6 years experience in a firm proved to my boss consistency through which i currently have a job. While I was spending sleepless nights in factories you asses were asleep in your cosy mattresses. Well look at me now and look at you. I don't have to prove anything to anybody because I don't owe you nothing. It just saddens me that you guys refuse to be useful to yourselves.

Here is a statistical fact that not everybody is aware of... Everything under government has a quota. If you work for the civil services there's a quota for tax, even as a business man you can't avoid paying your quota, that's tax evasion (altough many rich men still evade sucessfully witout being arrested). But more importantly let's address the most important issues here, education, health, employment, that probably the most important elements that influence the economy of every state. There are over a million sick people, unemployed people, qualified students seeking admissions... But not enough facilities, so how does the government deal with this stats. They create a quota of course. The big men decides just how many poor people they want to get jobs in a year, there are millions of qualified paupers every year. But probably only 700,000 slots for jobs created each year. This is statistics okay. So you seeking for a job is almost like you buying a lottery ticket and keep waiting to win. Nobody discourages that, it's a random balloting system, u might just get lucky... When we see uneducated street boys playing baba ijebu. (I have the belief that a lot of you have been to lagos.) If you don't know what baba ijebu is then I doubt your patriotism lol. But most people look on and snub them, but you forget u are playing baba ijebu with ur CV, I might get luck," God please let me have a job". When you have a brain to think and provide for yourself. I'm looking for leaders, please contact me at ikyesbiss@gmail.com I don't want to be your boss, I want to partner with you in business... Nigerians these days are blind and just want to follow a set culture degrading the development of this country. Believe me not every body who apply for jobs this year would get one, and those who remain unemployed who have to compete with younger more proactive graduates who are zealous and easy to manage. Once you've missed two to four years of graduating without jobs you become a veteran unemployed individual with so much experience in going to interviews that you could probably write a book about it. Maybe that's your business idea, go write a book get it published and see what happens who know you might win an award or sometin. But don't make playing baba ijebu with your CV a hobby. You can say I'm rude, saucy or even disrespectful I mean I know some really old bros are reading this... I greet oh. I be una guy oh. Correct naija boy no be scam. Maybe I don too speak english 4 here sef. Wetin dey happen, una still dey sleep. One olodo dey call me g-boy. You dey try tell me say I no know watsup dats y I wan do local Men I'm worldwide, u should know. Email me: make una come learn business. Ikyesbiss@gmail.com attach ur CV.

@tosag none taken. Just put yourself in my shoes and probably go read this thread from the beginning and see how nice I was trying to be... This is not a matter of us arguing. Because I believe that birds of the same feathers flock together despite differences in personality... If you want to work and are looking for a nice boss that would hug u every morning, give u a kiss on the cheek and say good morning well sorry, you probably wouldn't be able to keep a job. My younger broda did something today that made me laugh. The dude quitted his job and decided to sit home and concentrate on his business plan, my younger broda is just 16, a music artist already with a label of his own, recruiting his schoolmates and friends as his entourage. That is how you know a leader, not you sitting down idle waiting for someone else to pay u, because if you wait long enough believe me you'd find a job. Probably a low salary earning job. Think about the time you started submitting CV's. Most people submit CV for years even up to 5 years. Think about if you had started a tailoring business, probably you don't even know how to sew, but you find someone who can a friend, you guys brainstorm and partner up and start your tailoring business while still submitting CVs. Now let's say after two years you still don't have a job but you have a business. You went to school you have a degree, I expect you guys to think better. in the period of two years you've not only gained more experience in your skill, you've also gained popularity within your area. Now what's the next step... Revolutionize your business. Get an ad in a magazine with pictures of your designs, contact modelling agencies and offer to design costumes for a cheap price, get in contact with the big names, get your work out there so everybody can see. Make yourself a brand. You all keep looking for jobs, making more money for already filthy rich bastards whose children would splash water on you in the street as they drive and u trek... Whose children would steal your babes. U guys are on your own sha. Keep looking for vacancies.

One thing I love about the internet is the ease it takes to meet people. I have been on here for less than a week, with these threads and I have conversed with more than 15 other human beings. And had more than 500 other human beings see the kind of communications we have going on. If this isn't marketing then I don't know what else is... You all keep asking for an idea about the business, an idea? I believe I have given you more ideas since you started following this post even when you comment insults and such and still I refuse to be shut down I still come out with a reply. Okay let's reason like this, have you ever seen a theif who tries to steal the market, and is caught and even with everybody screaming theif and beating him up still attempts to steal? Now even with all your insults, your derogatory name calling and stuffs I'm still updating this thread. That is called consistency, and hardwork, and it is the only way to succeed. While you all are there with your lazy comments, I'm here with my ideas looking for serious people to share them and brainstorm with. So again interested persons should contact ikyesbiss@gmail.com with their Cv's. And to all those name callers I could give you my address to come visit but I don't think u can afford ur fare and I'm not jesus christ I can't feed 5000 people I can only try and teach u what I know. Mind u I haven't asked anyone on here 4 a dime. If I have I need you out here with ur testimony of hw much I asked for. Lazy pple would always be lazy it seems, but serious minded pple please contact me. Ikyesbiss@gmail.com

One thing about life that most people fail to realise is that consistency is the key to being successful, I'm an example... I'm not rich, I do get broke at times, but I'm always making investments and seeking alternatives from being idle. I own a blog which is more my hobby than a source of revenue as at now, I have a job that allows me time to be online trying to get our attention... And now I decided I could make this business bigger by involving more like-minded people... So if you say you'd like to know me you're doing me a favour... But the only relationship you can hope for is a business relationship... You are all graduates for christ sakes, how long do you think you can live on a 50k salary, or a hundred or even 200hundred. With higher income comes higher taste. Simple economics... You be broke before u knw it looking for a higher pay check. Till d day u retire and become a pensioneer with 6 children broke ass dreams homies... Get real get creative get your own business and fund a younger generation's dreams not your own age mates... Let's grow and start thinking straight... you want to know me get interested in working with me send your cv to ikyesbiss@gmail.com

jossyblack: @judaboom.

Bros na wa oh, u r 23 and you have worked for 6years, good six years working experience, wow. even to the post of a production manager and the as a general manager for more than two years . hmmm, lets see it means you graduated from the university at the age of hmmmmmmm (thinking).

let me summarize again , so at 23 you have gone to primary, secondary , university, NYSC finished and have a 6 years working expedience, and rose to the post of a General manger in a company, again hmmmmmmmm.

I wont doubt ooh, but ust to think about it again, u started from an humble background like many of us and within 23 years of age you have worked for 6years as a graduate and grown so fast as a general manager. hmmmmmmm.

bros i like to know u, abeg, maybe my son can be like u, without his fathers help or influence i suppose.

Now back to the insult from the jobless people you tried to help, dat is quoting u. How much did u ask them to pay or what salary range did you offer them?

bros i like know u. grin
okay let's do the maths... I started working in SS2, night shift at a factory, in 2006- 2008, I got admission into UNIBEN in 08 still on night shift I worked frm 100 level to 300 level 1st semester. Before quitting d job because of course load issues, then 2nd semester IT at same factory( production manager) still night shift. I graduated in 2012. Then moved up the ladder to GM. Still working as a GM. And I'm not trying to toot my horn or say that I'm hardworking but a lot of you other graduates had it on a platter of gold that is why most of you lost touch with your creative side of life... I was a student for 4 years and I didn't have one steady relationship, not because I didn't want one but because I couldn't afford it and I've always had too much pride and self respect for myself that I couldn't feed off a girl no matter how easy it would be... I now earn 50k monthly but I have been working for years before it got this good 4 me. My first salary was 6000 my first job title was factory worker, I would want you to know that now I drive my own car and pay my rent on time. And as for asking anybody for money, please if you have submitted your CV to me and I asked you for a dime come out and make it known to these loud mouth broke ass basterds who think so low of themselves they can't think and be creative... If you are interested please submit your cv to ikyesbiss@gmail.com I'm always online monitoring this thread and would give you a reply as soon as I can.
