But the devil uses men blinds them and puts them under the bondage of the law promising them blessings.

A soul that is won is one that endures until the end OBEYING THE WORDS OF JESUS and not the doctrines and traditions of men. Those who love and give food, water and clothes who are righteous in the sight of God, not those who mismanage what the Lord has given them and giving it to shrines and idols in the name of churches.

Did they do God's will or their own will.

Just to point out something important though. Righteousness is by believing, acknowledging, accepting and confessing the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus on the cross(being born again) and not by deeds.

Tithing is not a command but an instruction (or maybe we can call it an advice, I don't know). If you tithe, you get the blessings of the act, if you don't, you get no blessings attached to it. Nevertheless, that you miss out on the blessings associated with tithing does not mean your life is condemned to poverty. In summary, there are other spiritual and natural principles that you can engage in to get blessed while violating another. But think about it, if 1+2 gives you 3. Imaging what 1+2+3 would give you.
