I have travelled more than 12 times, I submitted my application November 11 and it was approved December 9th

You don't need to do anything and nothing to worry about, I have hard numerous schengen visas with one year validity from Italy embassy. I just submitted another application on the same date with you. The last one I got was this year, February, and expired August this year for six months. The previous was for one year. Don't worry about the message of some documents are missing, that is has their site is programed. I have gotten numerous with that same words everything I submit application. and still get my visa okay.

Makeba glad you made it to your destination, I will be there by Saturday, but going straight to Paris from there to Belgium and Torino. Be very careful with your belongings In Milan, especially tourist places a lot of pocket pickers around everywhere, I hard a really bad experience there that I lost over sis thousand dollars with all my wallet gone. Just thought of informing you and others going to Milan to be watchful of their bags.

I am a regular or frequent traveller. The balance in .y account was around 12, millions, but that wasn't the reason I was given visa, I have used 3 millions in my account to still get visa, the reason I was given a vusa regularly was based on my travel history, I have never overstay any visa given to me, my first visa application statement never changed, I respect the rules and regulations of the visa given to me, last year I was granted one year schengen visa from the same Italbased in how many times I have travelled to Europe, I used that visa just once which made them to reduce it to six months this time because of how many time I used the previous which was understood.

No tax records and I have never used any tax records for any of my past and present visa

My visa received. But reduced to six months instead of the one year previously. I months reasoned behind them reducing it, reason is that I only used the one year visa, just once. All the same thank god, good luck to everyone

Oh my gosh 66 something days, mine was just 44 days today and waiting till tomorrow if they returned my passport back to tls as they said on their email. They said, before the end of the week which is either yesterday or today being Friday. Since I didn't see anything yesterday I am hoping miracle happen today ooo. My travelling day was yesterday 13th of February. According to the security that I met yesterday, he told me that they hard a technical problem moving from the back house down to the new front house. I dont no how true that was but just hoping to get back my passport period, this is the longest I have seen.

Makeba122, how many days did was your application with tham? Glad that at list expecting your passport by next week. Something good to hope for. Congrats in advance brother and to everyone of still waiting.

Thanks for the correction, I just got a response from the visa section that my application has been processed and that i should be getting my passport back before the week end. I am glad finally.

I have visited the Italian embassy this afternoon, but the security guy there was telling me that the real problem was them moving from their previous location to another, that's why they had a technical problem and delay. That was the information given to me, and he also instructed me to write them through the new email address given to me by him. We'll I have written to them again and waiting for the next outcome. Good morning guys, please has anyone received back their passport back from Italy embassy? Today make it 43 days that I have submitted my application still nothing yet, frequent travel with over 15 schengen visa previously. .y travelling date us suppose to be tomorrow. TLS contact number that I have not working neither with the embassy. Is anyone here going through the same course as me? Please share here.

My travel date us 13th of February which is just by the corner and I am yet to get back my passport. How many days has your passport be with them now? Well you have till June to travel which means you have enough time but not like me.

Well Makaba. I know how frustrating this is to you, even to the rest of us here too. You saw the response from the embassy stating it was due to high volume of applications received but how was that the main reasons because someone here posted that he submitted on the 16th December 2024 and passport back 28th of January 2025, yours was since on the 9th of December 2024 or am I missing something here?

I have Hart over 13 schengen visa from this same embassy, one with German embassy, none of this visa that I have to wait this long. This is why I am surprised. Thanks everyone for sharing your situation too here. We are allnin thus and I pray soon we shall all smile and walk pass this.

I don't think anyone is doubting you brother, is just a shocking situation that someone has applied since December 9th for a schengen visa and not even a spouse's visa, tourist visa precisely. I have written twice to the Italian embassy no response, called many times. Number not working, called tls Lagos, their number disconnected just as the Italian embassy too. Now I have sent an email to tls requesting for more clarification why the delay, but no response yet. This is unacceptable and unbelievable. But what can one do than to keep patience alive and wait. My vacation date is 13th February.

Hmmm did I just hear someone say that he applied since December 9th for visa? Which type of visa did you applied for? My10 years of going to Europe and applying for Italian visa as tourist, I have never come across such a processing time frame. The highest I have seen was just 30 days delay, the rest are below the 15 days given and maybe 20/ or 23 days. How are you so comfortable that your passport has being with them for almost 2 fucking month and you are here doing nothing. This is ridiculous to speak of.

That is like 40/50 days to recieve your passport back. From Italy Tourist visa. Processing is taking much longer than it used to be. The longest I have seen was 30 days Processing, but not I am hearing and seeing much longer delays. Well we should keep hope alive.
