Kimo21:Like I said, the faith tabernacle was part of the early prophecy about the ministry which he documented. I not condemning the esteemed bishop about the ark, I just wonder if God spoke to him about it like He did to build faith tabernacle. |
While I respect bishop David Oyedepo, I am in somewhat doubt about this ark project unless God commanded him verbatim to build it. Is this project out of ambition, pride or a command of the almighty? I remember him saying the faith Tabernacle was part of the vision God gave him early in the ministry, is the ark part of it? |
📖 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. — Psalms 57:9 Gospel music is the medium of spreading God's love through faith inspired songs accompanied with instrumentals. Men and women who sing gospel music as a ministry are known as gospel singers and their goal is to impact lives with God's presence through singing. God inhabits our praises (Psalm 22:3) The gospel singer himself or herself, shouldn't see themselves as superstars but as humble vessels of God, leading many into His presence through music. A notable gospel singer, Ron Kenoly, passed on weeks back and his ministry was widely attested to by millions globally 🌎 who were touched by his anointed songs to God. So gospel music is primarily a ministry but rising inflationary costs of living and costs of music production (especially here in Nigeria) has made some gospel singers turn it into a commercial business by charging fees. 👉The demerits of gospel singers turning their singing into a full fledged business: 1. Majorly focus on material gains. They may sing beautifully in God's name, but their major concern is how to maximize financial profits. 2. Lack of intimacy with God. 3. Prideful attitudes. 4. Seeking man's approval/applause above God's. 5. Rivalry/competition/fighting between themselves. 6. Discrimination against churches which can't 'afford' them. 7. Idolization of celebrity life, fame, etc. It's okay for gospel singers to receive offerings, gifts or honorariums, however money shouldn't be their main motivation but to glorify God. But it becomes like a business venture whenever gospel artists charge huge amounts of money before singing in a church event or program. When gospel singers become overly money minded, their ministry becomes diluted like a fountain springing clean and muddy water. To all gospel artists who have become mainly commercial, the Lord Jesus sums this post ever so aptly: 📖...Ye cannot serve God and mammon. — Matthew 6:24

Some schools would have properly disciplined the erring students, but these ones were expelled to save the name of the school as what they did was loaded online. |
Goodnight legend of Nigerian football ⚽ May God comfort his family in this sad time. I remember being in the same primary school with one of his sons way back then. The boy was praised as he played brilliantly like his dad! How time flies. |
uche87:We aren't living in a theocratic government where religious laws are supreme. If we were, most women dare not wear clothes that accentuate the delicate parts of their bodies in public for fear of punishment. However, as a God fearing person, one shouldn't look lustfully at women. |
Genesis 16 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹¹ And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. ¹² And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him... If you know, you know. |
purplekayc:No, as far as I can remember I think it was a Brazilian doctor on the E channel. I used to be amazed at the low self esteem of beautiful women who would go for augmentation of breasts and butts with silicone and fats! However, nothing replaces natural! In a matter of time, be it months or years, the artificial will begin to wear off like worn out leaves 🍃 from a tree. |
ultraviolet27:Women don't ask men who they like out in this environment. If they do, they fear they might be taken cheap or desperate. So they resort to seduction/green light signs 🚦or prayers. |
I sense backstabbing 🔪. As she and her prayer partner prayed together, the prayer partner went behind her back and wooed her prospective partner. Trust no one 100% , except God. Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. — Psalms 41:9 |
It's becoming increasingly difficult to find a man who is faithful alone to his wife and vice versa.... Very rare couple indeed. |
No light 💡 expensive fuel ⛽ What a time to be a Nigerian 😐 |
jattopeter:Yes, but it isn't as easy as it seems. That's why emotional attachments with the opposite sex when married is dangerous. |
Ok ![]() But try to monetize the forum to make it more exciting. Even if it's 1000 naira daily for most likes. |
Diamond098454:Depends on if I'm disciplined or not. |
Pierocash:Amen 🙏 May our daughters have enough common sense to know the difference between men who love them and lust after them. |
Simplemeeeee:How do you expect evil to overturn evil? This your statement baffles me 😐 Only a wise thinking Government will act pragmatically in solving the security crisis. |
Lots of men out there are sexual predators....they just want pleasures not pressures of marriage. Besides economy isn't smiling making marriage like a mirage to many. |
You are already beautiful and survived the first surgery, greed no let you rest! |
essentialone:That's too extreme, because in every marriage there's tendency to cheat. This is because in marriage, you will still see lots of human beings more attractive/appealing than your spouse. Just be disciplined. |
1,080 naira in 1977 adjusted under inflation would be like 3 million naira today. Over reliance on petrol without focusing on other means of production is a major cause of widening inflation in our country. |
In these days of electronic transfer, what was he doing with 9m cash?? Thank God though for protecting him against premature death. |
TemmyT002:As long as we are on earth, there will be always trials. No one is exempt, no matter how Anointed or rich one may be. It's only in heaven/new earth that there will be no more trials/troubles because the devil won't be permanently there. |
MaxInDHouse:Clearly it was God who permitted David to be tempted by the devil, but a lot of believers can read it without understanding due to the contrast in verses. That's why God gifted the church with teachers like my humble self ![]() |
MaxInDHouse:So according to you, it was satan that was behind Abraham test of sacrificing Isaac? It's debatable but only that it was never implied in the scripture. However, when David transgressed by numbering Israel, it was attributed to both God and satan. And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah. — 2 Samuel 24:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. — 1 Chronicles 21:1 This is one of deep mysteries of the Bible. |
MaxInDHouse:Why did God test Abraham? Did the devil suggest Abraham's testing to God like the devil did to Job and Peter? |
sweetkev:Genesis 22 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹ And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. ² And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. |
prinsam30:True, God hardly gives us trials, but he permits them to happen to us. The devil asked permission from God to test Job and Peter. God gave him permission. But sometimes, God can allow difficult situations to allow us grow spiritually. |
MaxInDHouse:Read the book of Job. Who was behind the trials of job? Read also about Peter, who was behind the trial of Peter? Luke 22 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: ³² But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. On both occasions, it was the devil who approached God to ask to test both of them. So God permits trials/tests but He is not always behind them. However, God tested Abraham on Isaac on His own volution. |
A trial is simply an examination, to know the true value or worth of something or someone. A trial in the biblical sense, means an examination/test of one's faith in God through trouble/difficulties, not necessarily because of sin. Under a fiery 🔥 trial, it may seem God is silent and the heavens are closed, but at the end He will prove pitiful and tenderly merciful. (James 5:11) Trials are a common trend in the Bible: 1. Joseph was tried through his slavery and affliction in Egypt.(Psalm 105:17-21) 2. Abraham was tried after God instructed him to sacrifice his son Isaac.(Genesis 22:1-2) 3. The Israelites were tried with the monotony of manna and scarcity of water in the wilderness. (Deuteronomy 8:3) 4. Job was tried after suddenly losing all his children and livestock in a day. (Job 1) 5. David was tried after he was made into a fugitive by Saul (1 Samuel 20:1) 6. Peter was tried after he was bitterly sorrowful for denying Jesus three times. (Luke 22: 31-32) 7. Paul was tried through his great sufferings for the gospel. (Acts 9:16) 8. Sadrach, Meshach and Abednego were tried after refusing to bow to an idol; thrown into an extremely hot furnace. (Daniel 3) 9. Moses was tried when he had to put up with the rebellion of the Israelites. (Numbers 20:10) 10. Noami was tried after losing her two sons and husband as an Israeli immigrant in Moab. (Ruth 1:1-5) 11. Daniel was tried after he was thrown into a den of lions for refusal to seek the king above God. (Daniel 6) 12. The Lord Jesus was tried through His earthly sufferings though He was God. (Hebrews 5:7-9) Why does God occasionally try us with sufferings? 1. To renew/strengthen our faith in Him. 2. To train us for His divine purposes. 3. To build patience and endurance. 4. To mature godly character. 5. To bring us into perfection/completion. Using Job as a case study, God tries us because He wants to bless us in a greater way that requires a higher level of faith/obedience. (Job 42:12-15) Are you going through a trial-an unexplainably difficult situation permitted by God Himself? ✔️Love Him with all your heart ❤️. ✔️Live by His Word. ✔️Worship Him severally like David. When we successfully pass a trial, God smiles and says in His heart: "I knew I could count on you my son/daughter".

"A rolling stone gathers no moss". Anyways, the late buhari kept rolling until he eventually 'rolled' into office. Will Peter obi be that lucky ? |
