The father of lies (John 8:44) proceeded to deceive Eve making her believe that if she ate the forbidden fruit, she will become a god in comparison to God Himself.

Eve ate the fruit 🍓 and gave some to Adam who also ate, not challenging or confronting her.

From that day, though their physical eyesight was renewed, they couldn't see spiritually anymore_they died spiritually.

Unfortunately since then, billions upon billions of people have fallen to the lies of the devil questioning God's true Word:

A great danger today is our lukewarm attitude to what God says in His Word.

There are Christians who hardly spend quality time in God's Word (and praying) to internalize the truth and resist the devil's questioning/lies.

This age of rapid advanced technology and entertainment (AI, social media, science, music, movies), has distracted many from God's Word.

Its only by frequently renewing our minds with the Word of God (Romans 12:2) that we can live above the lies of the devil these last days.

However, a most terrible lie of the devil is making us doubt eternity.... some people don't believe in eternity and doubt the existence of heaven and hell.

Some erroneously believe that this earth 🌎 will continue forever.

Some others believe in purgatory, a temporary place of purification after death.

While others believe that they will be reincarnated as other persons after death; the list is almost endless.

To conclude;

When the devil comes questioning what God said, stand firmly on God's truth_don't ruminate his lies.

Hmmm....

I wonder why bad news brings faster publicity than good news, even more worst in this scenario as it concerns the gospel.

Mind you, salvation is a personal thing and not by your denomination.
