Topic says "Virgin Mary appears in Edo State"-CBCN.

These are two totally different statements and the second one quoted CBCN out of context.

Did anyone bother to find out what CBCN was actually referring to?

Absolutely. Nothing in the CBCN statement says that the Virgin Mary appeared. I don't know why people will twist the words on the CBCN website and then go further to say it's a lie/hallucination when they are the ones who have twisted the story.

If you read about what happened in Fatima, Portugal on 13 October 1917, you will see that the Virgin Mary did not appear. The sun "danced". A similar thing happened in Benin as Catholics celebrated the 100th anniversary of that event. That's all.

Catholics who know the history of what happened in Portugal are excited at the reoccurrence a 100 years to the day, as they gather to pray. Revelation 12 also tells us about a woman with the sun as her garment. If you read the whole chapter, you will understand why Catholics see this woman as Mary and why the miracle of the sun is also significant.

All further inferences are from people who are trying to create their own separate storyline.

the difference is the content. Men gossip intellectually, women gossip just about any thing, frm colour of the bag to the way a person walks. Basically men talk abt maybe character, the manner of a person, at the end you gain something. But women , its a whirlwind of gossip with no lesson.
