For every old folk, there will be 5 new folks. Including guests who do not log in at all. Truth is, I only go to to compare prices and come back to NL to buy. That is because, if you get burnt on jiji, there's no where to cry to. NL is safer. If it loses it's sense of safety, people will no longer come here. It's that simple

Over the past weeks, and especially when we entered 2019, a lot of miscreants joined Nairaland and started posting fraudulent ads for cars on auto section. I am an active guest of the auto section. I have bought 8 cars since 2015 from the auto section to resell. I prefer Nairaland auto section because it is moderated. That's why I come here instead going to or olx.

The only Unique Selling Proposition NL auto section has is that you can trust, to a degree, the cars posted. If Nairaland losses this, there's no need coming here.

In the past few weeks, I noticed several accounts were created to sell defraud people. Posting fake car ads. The Mods did nothing about. Therefore, to attract the attention of the MOD last night, I created 2 accounts. jujucars and jujumotors. I listed cars with outrageous amounts and added features for the MOD to see the sarcasm in the posts. Car Features like inbuilt Toilet, inbuilt play station 4, DSTV, microwave in the booth, V7 engine for toyota camry etc.

All this to attract the attention of the MODS. And I believe I did.

To the MODS: Please sanitized this auto section. Fraud posts shouldn't be allowed to survive 24 hours. It is not hard to do. Be active. Let the relative safety that the auto section brings buyers thrive.

And to Seun: Reward the MODS to encourage them to be active. This is 2019. You cannot expect MODS to volunteer and be 100% active. They should get complete staff welfare packages. You make enough money from NL. Stop taking undue advantage of people and making money from their sweat for free.
