For Nigeria, I think you have only option to send money through Paypal but you can not receive. But, they may expand their services soon , so that it might be possible to receive payment online in near future.

Its easy to open a account in paypal. Just visit their website paypal.com. And sign up for an Individual account. Once you finish sign up , then they will send a verification email . Just check your email and click the confirmation link . Now your account will be active.

Next verify your account by adding your country national Id number and bank account.( if you want to receive money). But if you want to send money or purchase something online then you must have to add your debit card or credit card.
