After 10 years of transitioning from a job seeker to becoming a seasoned Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist in Lagos, I believe it makes sense to share practical tips that can help people get jobs faster in Lagos — especially for those currently job hunting or planning to relocate to Lagos for opportunities.

Lagos is a city filled with opportunities, from entry-level roles to high-income career positions. However, how far you go depends on:

• How you position yourself
• The opportunities you are exposed to
• The kind of work you are willing and prepared to do

Here are a few important steps that can help you secure a job faster in Lagos:

1. Your CV is your first access to opportunity.
Make sure your CV is professionally written. Your experience, achievements, and core competencies should align with the responsibilities and requirements of the role you are applying for.

2. Prepare properly for interviews.
Be ready to confidently answer questions about your experience, skills, and background. Learn how to present yourself as the solution to the employer’s problem.

3. Connect with legit recruiters and talent communities in Lagos.
This is very important because it exposes you to verified and regular job openings.

One major way to identify a legit recruiter or talent community is this:
You should NEVER be asked to pay money before getting a job.

For those looking for direct and legitimate job opportunities in Lagos, I can recommend Talent4Hire NG community - https:///alphajobslagos

I hope this helps someone.
