Health"The One-minute Decision That Cost Her 2 Months" by JuoMedics1(op): 7:29am On May 17
Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. J, a 36 years old woman, walked into a clinic to see the doctor.

She was having headache for the past 3 days that was not responding to paracetamol and other over-the-counter analgesics.

There was no fever, vomiting or any other symptoms just the headache.

When the doctor checked her BP, it was 200/120.

The doctor told her straight: 'Madam your BP is too high, you need to be admitted immediately so we can give IV drugs, monitor your BP and run some tests to identify the possible cause of your hypertension.'

She looked at the doctor and said, 'Doc, I can't stay. My husband is not around and I don't have anyone to stay with the children. Just give me tablets let me go.'

'Your BP is too high and needs to be controlled. If it remains this high, it will lead to complications.' the doctor explained.

The woman refused and opted to seek treatment elsewhere.

Two hours later, the woman was rushed back to the emergency department and this time, she had a stroke.

Lesson: Admission is not punishment. It's protection. Depending on the health condition, 24hrs in the hospital can save you 2months in the hospital later.

So if a doctor tells you; "You need admission,"

Ask one question:

"What happens if I don't stay?"

Then decide with your eyes open.

Doctors don't admit for money. Doctors admit because your health condition requires it.

HealthWhat Happens When A Patient Doesn't Respond To Treatment by JuoMedics1(op): 2:32pm On Apr 28
One of the challenges doctors face on a daily basis is when a patient doesn't respond to treatment.

At that moment, the doctor becomes the enemy.

The patient begins to doubt the doctor's ability and the doctor becomes worried about the turnout of events.

A lot begins to go through the doctor's mind.

Perhaps he didn't make the right diagnosis,

Or didn't choose the right drugs.

Or maybe he's dealing with a resistant strain of the infection?

Or perhaps the disease naturally has a poor prognosis.

Whichever be the case, it's never easy for both the doctor and the patient.

The patient and their relatives feel bad because they are spending money without getting results.

The doctor on the other hand feel awkward and desperately seek solution.

This happens mostly at the primary care level.

But who is to blame? The doctor? The patient? Or the anxious relatives?

The answer is simple - None of the above.

The doctor is there to help and save life.

The patient is scared and doesn't want to die.

The relatives are anxious and doesn't want to lose their loved one.

So everyone is valid in their feelings.

But we shouldn't blame the doctor for everything asif he or she is the cause of the failure in treatment.

HealthRe: 24th - 30th April 2026 Is World Immunization Week by JuoMedics1(op): 11:43am On Apr 28
KingNom:
Vaccines?
Vaccines are the major causes of babies'/people's sicknesses such as autism, polio etc and even death, all around the world
Vaccination means injecting dirt ('weakened' disease) into the body. very unscientific move
Surely it is a cover to sicken, maim or even kill the child or person

A lot of world renowned doctors/scientists have researched and published the above.

You'll see their findings in the documentary section of ceflix dot org
This is NOT true. Vaccines prevent you from contacting the actual disease. This view of yours is a huge misconception.

Vaccines helps your body to produce antibodies that fight the actual infection.

❤️‍🩹 Vaccines have protected families for over 200 years. Today, they protect people at every stage of life and save millions of lives every year.

*Why vaccines matter:*

🔹 Over 150 million lives were saved in the past 50 years
🔹 Protection against more than 30 deadly diseases was achieved
🔹 Helping children survive, grow, and thrive
🔹 Supporting longer, healthier lives at every age

*What’s at risk:*

⚠️ Millions of children still miss out on vaccines
⚠️ Some people depend on others for protection

🙌 Your decision makes a difference. Choosing to get vaccinated helps protect you, your loved ones, and your community.

Examples of vaccines include;

BCG vaccine
Polio vaccine
Hepatitis B vaccine
Diphtheria vaccine
Pertussis vaccine
Tetanus vaccine
HPV vaccine
Measles vaccine
Corona virus vaccine etc etc

This week is dedicated to creating awareness about the importance of vaccination and it's effectiveness in preventing diseases.

We should get our children vaccinated to avoid diseases.

We should also get ourselves vaccinated.

Prevention is better than cure.

HealthApril Is Cesarean Section Awareness Month by JuoMedics1(op): 10:30pm On Apr 09
Dedicated to raising awareness about C-sections.

Cesarean Section is a surgical operation performed on a pregnant woman to deliver the baby when normal delivery is not possible.

For example;

When the baby is too big to pass through the mother's birth canal

Or

In multiple pregnancy involving twins or triplets

Or when the labor is prolonged with the baby in distress

Majority of our women in this part of the world do not like Cesarean Section.

Every woman hopes and prays to deliver normally but unfortunately some percentage of women will need Cesarean delivery.

The purpose of this awareness is to advise pregnant women and their spouse to accept the option of Cesarean delivery when normal delivery is not progressing.

Our religious leaders, pastors and Priests should also advise their pregnant members to follow the advice of their obstetrician and gynecologist for Cesarean Section when normal delivery is not possible.

The purpose of every pregnancy is to deliver a live healthy baby. So it doesn't matter whether the delivery was through C-section or normal delivery.

What matters is that the baby is delivered successfully and mother and baby are in good condition.

So spread the news and help us create the awareness.
