Femzy,the havoc viruses wreck differs from one another.For instance,'Odinga' attacks your credit,other viruses may go for your bluetooth or wap and all that.@holyrule.There is a PC 'odinga' at present now too,so I believe it is the handiwork of some malicious programmers who attached it to files downloaded from the internet and from which it is now spreading.I don't think it is the work of network people

Oga moderator ,na so we see am .This Raila Odinga virus attack was really terrible in my school<Delta state university,abraka> as I know of 7 of my friends who also contracted the virus on their symbian phones.It was F-secure that came to our rescue as it was already spreading like a wildfire in this university town.Guys,when you notice it,just download this F-secure,update it via wap and scan it.This shud do the trick.My Kaspersky could not even detect it,talk less of deleting it,so just be alert.

There is a virus that is called Raila Odinga that is attacking PC and symbian phones at present now.When it attacks your symbian phones,it will be zapping your credit like crazy as soon as you make a call.I loaded 200 naira credit and when I made a call,barely 15 seconds later,I was now hearing a message that my account balance was low and that I should recharge.When I checked my credit,I found 0.00 naira in less than 15 seconds!
So,be careful with recieving files from other symbian phones as the mobile version of the virus attaches itself to applications that you recieved through phone and computer.For now,the only protection{this is what I use to disinfect my phone} is installing F-secure anti-virus and update it with the latest anti-virus definition.

It is no longer news that opera mini mod 3.10 downloaded from Operamini.club.hu don't work in older s60v2 phones like 3230,6680(my phone model) and s60v1 phones because in the 'network' settings on the 3.10,instead of getting 'http://server.operamini.com',we get 'socket://server.operamini.com'.When we try to edit the 'socket' to 'http' and add the mtn trick to it,it will reset back to 'socket' and that makes it incompatible with the mtn trick.N90,n70 and n72 don't encounter this 'socket' problem.So,in my course of research,I discovered a Opera mod 3.10 modified version that was translated from russian to english by some philippinos before the official Opera mod 3.10 came out.It goes with the extension 'opera 3.10 bugfree'.I tried this 'bug free' 3.10 and it worked for me,with the normal 'http' in the network settings instead of the 'socket' thing.So,I can now browse and best of all,UPLOAD with my 3.10 of which I have given up hope of ever using before becos of that 'socket' probs.I will post d link later.

Dragnet,I tried to send the 'Mopera' to the number you specified but it won't just go.Guess that 180kb size limitation for s40v1 phones came into play on trying the mms option. @stancozy.U sure of what u r saying that 'mms it' works on java phones?

Oops.And that 'MMS IT' software is very useful to me.I use it to send symbian updates of Kaspersky anti-virus from Delta state here to a friend in Yenagoa every month and also to love-vendor some of my pal's phones.If I get a s60v3 link,I will let you know.
